It isn’t rare, take the disc to your nearest game store and ask them to resurface it.

Sadly it's not rare it's just a dirty or scratched disk, you could probably do the same with a normal DVD CD because the Wii can't read that either but the Wii isnt that hard to hack so you can Pirate that game if don't work anymore

this isnt rare at all! this is 1 of the most commen errors to get. its just a bad disc.
