1:39 I can relate to this, I’ve had Animal Crossing New Horizons crash five different times now for seemingly no reason (offline, we never use online features). Another crash will probably eventually happen in the future too. It’s strange because I’ve never really had issues with a Nintendo game crashing for no reason before. Only one time with NSMBW on my Wii when I was little (still don’t know why) and maybe two times with Nintendogs + Cats on 3DS. New Horizons has crashed more times than any Nintendo game I’ve played. Also the red joy con decided to completely stop working for no reason even when attached to the Switch, which was super annoying since it forced us to buy new ones. It already had a case of joy con drift but I’d always been able to mostly ignore it.
@@kickstart3974 I think it's the cartridge'a fault. It always happens with the same games. Others work without problems. Both on my old and my new switch
You missed just one thing: The fact that Super Mario Party is literally unplayable due to Joycon drift, and it just so happens that the literal only way you can even play the Switch is wireless pro controllers, as everything else drifts into oblivion after you play with it for more than a few days.
SD card could not be read - because i put it into my computer to check it for corruption since it already was saying its corrupted. Copy everything onto computer, reformat SD card, put files back, put back in switch. Data is still corrupt.
1. Any sort of small thin object (like the end of a pair pf tweezers) works 2. WiFi 3. Push it in, then it slides out. If it does not, use your fingernails to utilize the little raised portion as a way to fish it out. 4. Do the Joy Cons one at a time, pressing the buttons alternating does not work, mashing also doesn't. 5. That would be the fault of the user, no advice there besides just be aware. 6. Check underneath the plastic flap under your joysticks, they can harbor dust easily especially with excessive use. Either use something like a cotton swab (with a lot of cotton taken off so it can fit in the crevice) or pressurized air. If this does not work, use the calibration feature. If that does not work, THEN you can send it over to the company. I know that's going to get people pissy, I get it, I really do. But at least appreciate the fact it's free. 7. This issue I do not understand. Assuming it's multiple people trying to do this... One person at a time. Assuming it's one person somehow... One pair of Joy Cons at a time. Assuming it's random Joy Cons going off... There is quite literally a feature to either find Joy Cons by making them vibrate, or use the Disconnect Controllers feature. 8. This is Nintendo. Not Xbox. 9. Glare affects a lot of devices, not an exclusively Nintendo Switch issue. And why play it while walking or in such direct sunlight? 10. Simplicity. It's for simplicity, I assume to make the product feel more professional. 11. That's a "you" problem. Use your carrying case's GAME CARD HOLDERS, that's literally why they're there. Or get a separate carrying case. 12. This is either... • Dead Joy Cons because of not bothering to check their battery percentage. • Loose Joy Cons, slide them off then back in (I'd also recommend an external grip to keep the Joy Cons more firmly in place) • Or very poorly cared for controllers, which is sad. 13. I have no idea how this happens. Never had a scratch on my Nintendo Switch consoles and I've used them and the docks since their release. 14. You can actually have your Friend Code reissued and thus changed. It's a slightly more obscure feature but it can happen. 15. Why, why, and why? Why get that game on the console? Why did you not check the game's page for its information on GAME SIZE? And why have you not checked your memory card for games/clips that are unused? 16. Simply a matter of using them too aggressively or too tightly, they should be just tight enough that casual/average gameplay wouldn't cause them to slip off. 17. Should have charged beforehand. 18. You may have too many clips, 1,000 is the limit PER external memory card. Or you somehow used too much of your storage with your NBA game from earlier. 19. Impatience got you there, simple. 20. That's actually an issue on the company's part, I have no advice for that because I also hate that. 21. That's the user's fault. 22. Reinsert it, or very gently blow the inside of the card slot (or use the aforementioned pressurized air cleaner) 23. Remember that little thing you used too tightly? 24. Economy. We love economy. 25. The Nintendo Switch Lite was never made to be compatible with docking stations. It is to be a cheaper, more simplified option for budgeting or younger children. 26. Never thought people played that horrid game, Nintendo Switch Sports- So no advice. 27. /shrug 28. It's Nintendo. 29. /shrug 30. The fuck? It's coated with a bittering agent to prevent children from eating them or doing the dumbass thing you just did, that's absolutely on you. 😐 31. Your fault, you have to be responsible for your environment. 32. It's Nintendo. 33. It's still Nintendo. 34. Again, check the game's E-Shop page. This is once more, the user's fault. 35. Same as 34, be responsible, charge the console and check it's battery a few times. No, I am NOT trying to defend Nintendo. This is a matter of pointing out issues the user could have handled better, or showing solutions people do not care to find. I have found all these solutions on my own, because I care about my console and experience, so a lot of these issues should not be so big and I'm not even a serious gamer.
0:58 This is why I fcking hate Tetris99. Saw something about reaching a certain score during an event to unlock a theme. Me, having never played Tetris before so I didn't even know what I was doing combined with the complete sensory overload that made it nearly impossible to focus, sank more time than I'd like to admit into reaching the threshold. Eventually I did, and it's just a fcking background for Tetris99's menus. Uninstalled it out of slightly rage filled disappointment and a throbbing headache from all the lights and noises.
Ive had my switch Oled for about a year now. Im always as gentle as I can be with it but now I am just plain terrified and still fearful about joycon drift. I just hope that I wont get drift or that anything else unfortunate happens.

There was a lot here that really resonated with me, not being able to see when playing outside, "videos cannot be captured for this software", "not enough video space", and Super Mario Party not working on the switch lite, period. (which was the only thing I had at the time) and that one in particular sucks a lot if you actually paid for the game only to learn you can't actually play it, luckily for me I borrowed it from the library so that way I didn't end up with any true losses, still sucks though.
If you buy a new pair of Joycons, put the Switch in the case with the control sticks face down towards the bag. Drift is caused by too much pressure on the sticks and it eventually becomes stuck like that. You can fix it with a little square of card stock and there are videos to repair them online, but it can be very intimidating. I got new joycons three years ago and they haven't drifted once because of they way I store the Switch in its case.

I think he didn't read the instructions when he bought the game that is not compatible with switch lite.
i lovveeee my 2021 switch
I’ve also had my switch since 2019
@@glovesgunplaSwitch Games don’t come with Instructions.
When the switch doesn't detect your cartridge and you have to put it in like 10 times to finally play it. This happens. Every. Time.
I've never had that issue, but my switch is probably not as heavily used as others
@@kickstart3974 I think it's the cartridge'a fault. It always happens with the same games. Others work without problems. Both on my old and my new switch
Joycon drift:reeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Third party controllers:allow us to introduce ourselves
Every time I get a game it says STORAGE FULL
Buy or upgrade your SD card
Don't forget the Switch forcing you to remove your joy cons when wanting to connect them handheld

That’s the point 😭
No shit sherlock
You missed just one thing: The fact that Super Mario Party is literally unplayable due to Joycon drift, and it just so happens that the literal only way you can even play the Switch is wireless pro controllers, as everything else drifts into oblivion after you play with it for more than a few days.
Too damn brutal, I felt everything 😭💀
Should’ve ended with “a communication error has occurred” ngl
SD card could not be read - because i put it into my computer to check it for corruption since it already was saying its corrupted. Copy everything onto computer, reformat SD card, put files back, put back in switch. Data is still corrupt.
Could be a fake SD card
Its so true why with the stick drift cool videos im glad i found your channel 😂😂
1. Any sort of small thin object (like the end of a pair pf tweezers) works
2. WiFi
• Loose Joy Cons, slide them off then back in (I'd also recommend an external grip to keep the Joy Cons more firmly in place)
• Or very poorly cared for controllers, which is sad.
22. Reinsert it, or very gently blow the inside of the card slot (or use the aforementioned pressurized air cleaner)
23. Remember that little thing you used too tightly?
24. Economy. We love economy.
25. The Nintendo Switch Lite was never made to be compatible with docking stations. It is to be a cheaper, more simplified option for budgeting or younger children.
26. Never thought people played that horrid game, Nintendo Switch Sports-
So no advice.
27. /shrug
28. It's Nintendo.
29. /shrug
30. The fuck? It's coated with a bittering agent to prevent children from eating them or doing the dumbass thing you just did, that's absolutely on you. 😐
You forgot putting the joy-con straps the wrong way
POV when your Nintendo switch dies, but it’s at 97%
The only issues I’ve dealt with is Joycon Drift. Not sure what happened to your Switch.

This is why I fcking hate Tetris99.
This video hurts on so many different levels!

NAT TRAVERSAL PROCCESS HAS FAILED
Yep, this sums it up all right!
Funny thing though, after my Joycons started drifting, I bought one third party controller and it still works like new to this day! Barely needs to be charged and it was half the price. Ended my pain with them right there!

The first clip of the cartridge flap was enough to make me annoyed

I had it for over 6 years and still no drift
@@JordiumZsame but it drifted like one time during mario kart but it fixed itself
Even the wii had the charging problem fine, they had two great ways to charge, either use the charge stand or plug on the TOP of the gamepad and not the bottom
Nobody ever mentions it, but you forgot the issue with early Switches sounding like a friggin jet engine when just idling in the menus.
Mine does that. It’s sooooo annoying.
@@ACAAllertor125same but you can only hear it at night but it’s extremely loud
There was a lot here that really resonated with me, not being able to see when playing outside, "videos cannot be captured for this software", "not enough video space", and Super Mario Party not working on the switch lite, period. (which was the only thing I had at the time) and that one in particular sucks a lot if you actually paid for the game only to learn you can't actually play it, luckily for me I borrowed it from the library so that way I didn't end up with any true losses, still sucks though.
This video is nightmare fuel
I love this video so much. It's like a silly love letter to the best system as it's on its way out.
