I have this phone. You cant beat that flagship processor for the price. A workaround for Netflix and Prime Video streaming is to do it via the Edge Browser. There are some caveats to the phone but thats to be expected. My main concern would be that they give security updates for at least the next 2 years. The camera can be better by playing in the settings or by using a different camera app. On gaming focused phones the cameras are never the standout feature. This isn't exactly a gaming phone. More so a phone than can game. Great review. Btw... There is an auto feature on the phone that automatically adjusts the hertz. 👍
Well, you can play genshin impact at maxed Settings at solid 60fps. I don't know another more graphical demand android game. I liked to play competitivo games like wildrift at 120 fps with 144h, the input lag is very low, you got advantage that way.
@@franciscocornelio5776 You are right. And there are some much more expensive phones that can't do that. You can literally find this phone for around $180. It's unheard of for the processor, gpu screen hz and other little features. Many Flagship phones don't go as high as 144hz. I also think the screen on the phone is pretty good for an IPS LCD. It beats some other LCD's I've compared it to and I have an old flagship OLED that I compared it to where it's just as good. The phone is a great deal for the asking price.
I’ve been debating whether to get a dedicated gaming phone or just stick to a mid-range smartphone, and this review of the CUBOT MAX 5 definitely caught my attention. The specs look decent for the price, but I’m concerned about the long-term performance. Do you think it would still be good after a year or two of gaming? Also, is the screen resolution and refresh rate good enough for a truly immersive experience?
antutu score of 980000 this max 5 is at par with some of the best gaming phones..gt20..zero 30...and poco x6...top of the line at 15k price range..not bad at all
What cubut phone would you recommend for photography and videography? I’m looking for a mainly video focused phone. I’ve recently bought a no name android which was a disaster. I know cubot and have owned them in the past. They make good budget phones on par with mid ranged name brands.

Dear All, can anybody please let me know: does this phone support the health monitoring App 'Dexcom G7' ? Am about to order this phone and as I need to run ' Dexcom G7 ' am asking if this phone would allow me to download and open / run ' Dexcom G7 '. Any assistance is highly appreciated ... thank you all !
@@visacard100 thanks, yes I did have a look at the list compatible to Dexcom G7, though I think it's not fully updated. I like Cubot Max 5 , so before buying I thought perhaps a Cubot Max 5 user can let me know ... thanks anyway ...
Honestly, for this price range, I wasn’t expecting much, but I’m pleasantly surprised by what the CUBOT MAX 5 offers. The specs look good on paper, but I’m curious about real-world performance. Is there any noticeable lag or frame drops during heavy gaming? Also, how’s the build quality? I’ve had budget phones in the past that felt like they’d fall apart in a few months
@NUMBERSCODM Your pain is palpable, you were never loved, you can never be loved and you have come to that sad realisation. You are not worth the space you occupy and you know it. Life is hard, endure it.

The 33W fast charging on the Cubot Max 5 is a lifesaver! Mediatek's chipset will help maximize battery efficiency too.
What you get in the box, compared to Samsung or Apple, is a mountain of goodness!
A charger for a start!
And a what? A screen protector 🤔
Also a case. Basic, but still a case for first couple days, before you buy a better one.
It is unlocked to use with any carrier? I dont see that listed anywhere.
Does the camera have image stabilization for video recording? How effective is it? That's something I'm curious about.

Does it have bypass charging?
Poco X6 Pro is a better choice. Both devices around the same price on Amazon UK. Poco has better specs.
I hope the battery life holds up during gaming.
Yet it doesn't come with a micro SD card slot for roms
