Adapt to a lifestyle, be thrifty, set a budget, save money, and make investments to live within your means. I benefited from this as a six-figure income. With this strategy, my retirement savings have increased with more interest overtime

Minimalism totally changed the way I spend money. I really question the value of anything I am buying and whether I want this item in my house. There are many questions I ask myself and so impulse spending doesn't happen anymore. I love living a minimal life where I either love or need everything I own.

Our financial way of life absolutely needs to be blown up, but at the same time, people also need to be more responsible. I know for a fact that there's a lot of people that simply don't make enough money. I make roughly 100K a year and in California, rent prices alone eat up almost 3/4 of what I make.
Throw in dependents, and other financial obligations and it's easy to end up in the negative.

Hannah I am not living paycheck to paycheck but am feeling the squeeze from higher food, utilities & gasoline. I looked at my budget constantly & finally realized that I was paying too much for cable, internet & home phone & cell phones. It is a pain to have to renegotiate yearly but really saves money. I have really been spending a lot less discretionary income & creating revenue for more interest, Luckily for me my coach Frost Hilda has been using every opportunity to ensure I benefit from each turn the market trend takes. Best be prepared for what the future will be bring..

I use to be like this when I was younger, now I'm way better with money. I'm just not impressed with a lot of material items anymore. Having a budget and having patience is something I had to practice overtime.

The cost of living crisis appears to be a global problem, although here in the UK it has been made worse by the increase in the prices of many goods. The prices of gas and even electric bills has increased drastically, I believe that the government can bring into play a policy that helps reduces inflation, but for some reason, I don't think they are concerned about how the common person would do in these strangely challenging times.

It’s crazy how expensive things have become here in the UK, electric bills are high and the prices of goods keeps increasing by the day and the PM doesn’t care.

Live TV requires a Licence fee, even if you watch on Laptop/Mobile/Tab/TV. Licence fee is not device dependent, its decided on Live TV. We live in Reading which is 30 minutes non stop by GWR from Paddington. We are paying 1400 (Rent+CTax (2-Bed)), 300(Utilities+Mobile+Broadband), 250 (Groceries), 100 (Misc). Travel to Paddington to&fro from Reading would be 500 per person. Good one Ritu, keep it up.

UK any day mate. Expensive but quality of life has no comparison a) Everything close b) well developed public transport c) safety d) food from entire world in every city e) historical places f) Europe for weekends g) common sense not suing culture. I believe only services will be better in USA and slightly less expensive and more earning resulting in higher savings and probably better weather than London.

Thanks for this informative video. I had a question - between NY (living in NJ) and London at a profile and work experience similar to Prashant, where would you save more ? It would also be great if you factor in long term prospects (PR, citizenship etc.) over and above cost of living. I have started watching your videos and find them informative (good work 👍), but am not sure if some video on this subject already exists on your channel, so kindly excuse in that case. I am basically coming with these questions from a profile similar to Prashant but post 11 YOE working in India thinking of whether making a move to US or UK or perhaps any other developed economy , makes sense at this stage or not?

Tides are turning. A white-collar professional working in Indian MNC can have much better lifestyle + savings compared to London. for an equivalent job in London, a person in London can make only ends meet. But in Mumbai he can afford to have good life style with at least 50% savings (and this where you can afford to take an housing EMI too).
I last one year I was invited for full time job in Netherlands, London, and Sydney. and for same job in India I think I am living more grand life.
