Never connected with a character more than Thor. His whole story just hits home so hard. I’ve always loved Thor as a character whether it’s Marvel or folklore. This. This is my favorite Thor.
A couple of minor corrections: Ymir wasn't Odin's father, he was actually his great-grandfather. Borr was Odin's father, and Buri was his grandfather. And Ymir was a Primordial, which is a deep level of lore on its own. And the Blades of Chaos were forged by Ares himself, in the depths of the Underworld, and tempered in primordial fire.

@@johnwoodworth551 The Blades of Athena/Exile weren't bounded to Kratos the same way the Blades of Chaos were. He left the Blades of Exile right where he killed Zeus, and likely had no intention of going back for them.
So I came across your channel yesterday morning and I’ve spent the better part of the last two days watching your videos. Your storytelling skills are phenomenal and you make listening to lore I already know, from having already played the games, feel like I’m learning it for the first time all over again. Just a small issue, at 39:00 you speak of Kratos knowing about Atreus' illness being due to his godhood but he doesn't find this out until Freya Basically spells it out for him upon Atreus' collapse and him being brought to her while Kratos needs to go to Helheim for the Keepers Heart. I wouldn't be so nit picky, but I literally am replaying this myself because it SOOOO DAMN GOOD and wanted to point that bit out.
