Thanks for the update Neville. Really enjoyable again. Guys are doing an amazing job. Good to hear from Keith regarding Janes port wing. Done well to get the wing stripped back like it is now. An awful lot of rivets to get through again. FN5 front gun turret looks great now its painted up. Don't envy Ade having to fit the new bits of perspex. I can remember the stuff from my school days. A nightmare to work with. 😂 Will they have to replace all of the perspex on Jane when the time comes. Nice to see Mike the painter. Thank you Neville as always for your time and effort in producing the updates for us all to enjoy every weekend. Looking forward to your next one mate. Best wishes to you and to everybody there at the centre.👍

Thankyou Neville ((& the whole wider team @ LAHC) for your time & efforts, the team is amazing, & a pleasure to watch these craftsmen at work. Very much appreciated, especially from those abroad who obviously aren’t able to visit so easy…. Look forward to your videos & updates as to how Jane is progressing….
Qu. if I may…. In regards the French Lanc, I believe at the end of this project they will end up with a Lanc suitably fit for taxi runs, is this correct….? Are you able to, or in a position to say If so, is thier “Long term goal” to do the same as LAHC w Jane & to do taxi runs, to aid in funding a back to air restoration, or will it only ever be a ground runner…
Thank you immensely from New Zealand 🇳🇿

Once again Nev thanks for another interesting video. What i find interesting is John's and Keith's expertise in the metallurgy of the structures. It would be nice to have a Keith's "This is your Life or John's if that's if they are agreeable.

?? Hi Nev. Could you please tell us the thickness of the original perspex fitted to the various parts where it's used ( WWII if you could Nev). Blinding videos Nev, such a privilege to be able to follow the full restoration on video. Regards, Colin.

Is the double row of rivets on top side of the wing because it's a low pressure area trying to pull the skin off whereas the lower side is a high pressure pushing the skin against the stringers?

Acrylic not perspex. Perspex is a trade name for acrylic.

In the US we call it Plexiglas which is a trade name just like Perspex. And you’re correct they are both acrylic. But everyone here calls it Plexiglas. We KNOW it really is acrylic.
