Youre a beast man. Thanks for doing this. Also please consider doing the cowl, yes there's a bunch of videos how to make one but I personally dont like the majority of them. I think your attention to detail would be the definitive way of how to go about making one out of foam.

I am going to a comic con in a few months. I've never made my own costume to this level, I put together a simple costume with clothes I already had minus buying a hat online.
Thanks for the tip on scaling the wolverine cowl for my son. I've cut those pieces out and size is good! I'm ready to cut and print this one. I saw a comment where you said you are 5'6" but made a bit larger for a friend. What advice do have for scaling for my son, same as scaling the helmet? Also, I'll post updates on Instagram and tag you soon. Thanks!
Amazing work as always. I do wonder is there any other method for "beveling" the edge without sanding them.. But love the "indent" aspect, will definitely try that with my next build.

By the way Steve, quick question: I'm working in a foam hero suit, I'll use Fulldip (very close product to Plastidip) so, IT'S DURABLE?? I mean, don't start peel in few years or something? Big hug from Spain!😎
Respirator Masks are cheap! I have a few of them, and 1 goes with certain pieces of equipment. Heat gun is one of the main ones that have a Respirator. Thank you for expressing how important protecting your lungs is.
Thanks for this, awesome work! Quick question: Can you give me a tip on how to print this on a Mac? There's no poster option on Macs. Not sure how to go about printing multiple pages in the right sizing.
From what I’ve seen it’s a Mac issue that adobe hasn’t addressed with the newest OS. I’ve heard some people have uninstalled reader and downloaded an earlier version and that can work. Might give that a try
So I definitely want to follow this and make this for myself, out of curiosity, how tall are you? I'm a fairly short guy around 5'5, and want to know if this armor will be too long for my torso? That’s awesome to hear! I’m 5’6 but this runs a little bit larger for a friend to wear. You’d probably be able to make it work without scaling it at all but if you do I’d only go like 5-6% would be my guess
@@SKSProps Appreciate it a lot! Thank you! Edit: I'm looking to buy your HD foam for this, do you have an estimate of how many of each size I should get to make this, the helmet, and the arm guards? (Sorry to play 21 questions with you)
Thanks! But I couldn’t stand the acolyte (absolutely terrible writing) and until Disney puts out better content I’m not making anything from current Star Wars
I have a bat handle I put it a vice it’s the same thing. But that will only round in the beginning to create a compound curve it won’t stay that way if the foam gets to warm. Even sitting in a hot car will make it go flat. The strips on the back won’t allow the foam to return to a flat plane. Also that technique doesn’t work well with multiple pieces glued together
I´m trying to make this prop but I went to print it to a store and when putting it together the size is not fitting me. It´s coming out small and I´m not a huge person. The thing is, when printing it, did it come out as 28 pages? I don´t know if the guy at the store scaled it up to 100% or if he didn´t even check that out.
Use whatever you’d like. But just be aware some brands of black foam have a higher shore hardness and lower density and are tougher to manipulate to get compound curves.
