    And here i thought my blades were pretty sharp, turns out my cuts never actually looked good :'^) Time to try out the ceramic tip, i never heard of that!

    • @Taurusus
      @Taurusus 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      A ceramic bowl/plate/mug works in a pinch, but if you need a consistently sharp blade, definitely get a stone. Also, the rod she used in the second clip, I'm reasonably certain you pull the blade *across* the surface, rather than down the length like it seemed in the video. But otherwise, just be careful! Sharpen a blade by striking it *away* from you, until you get the hang of the feeling. Everything Svetlana showed will work "okay", but there are "better" practices, depending on how serious you want to get about your edges.

    Could be just an optical illusion, but the smooth cut seems to be a bit lighter in coloration than the rough one.
    Just make between 100-1000 straight cuts to reach level 100 in foam crafting, and everything else, like curves, bevels, etc will solve themselves ^^

    Loves your video! Very helpful on me being totally new to messing with foam! Thank you for sharing. Do you have any other suggestions on a different LED foam it shows it’s out of stock?
