The dialogue in this game is genuinely some of the funniest cringe. Between cop chatter and the difference in age between Rydell and everyone around him, they did a great job of making the dialogue absolutely dumb

When you aren’t currently in a chase you can turn your car off and the helicopter won’t see you even if you aren’t over cover. But if you are escaping they will see you unless you are under cover
I’ve done that and they still see me 😂 Raptor cops ain’t no joke either. Love the cop system, it’s improved so much. It’s challenging yet it’s annoying at the same time.
Now the only thing that's missing on the eclipse are the 7 spoke wheels

It's a bit irritating to see it with full fast and furious bodykit and livery but running on stockies
It's good that you are not skipping days. Winning cars from events it's totally worth doing it, pretty much a must. And it's good to get yourself as much money as possible and prepare for the next weeks aswell as they are getting harder and harder and you want to afford cars and upgrades. Also don't hesitate on upgrading the Garage as soon as possible, you will be thankful later when you already have all those upgrades ready
Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing lately. Hell, before the second qualifier I was raising as much money as I could after getting my ProtoZ to the top of A+ so I could get the next week started with an S car ready, maxed out to the top of S tier and looking decent.

I played the Chiron mission, they made the Chiron feel like an actual competitive car and not a fat pig. In fact, all the AWD cars and even the Aventador feel way more weightless than Heat
One thing that I will always love about need for speed games is that the customization on cars, specifically body work, does not affect the performance of your car. For example, you could equip a big ass spoiler on your car and it will not affect the performance at all
I think *money and risk IS important* in this game. The strategy with skipping days, *DON'T DO THAT!* Getting free cars by competiting and winning in events that has a free car as a reward is necessary. Remember, you need 4 cars for the final event and you need money for upgrades and making your cars look cool! If you're skipping days, you're just making it harder on yourself for the later weeks.
If you have the cars you want to use and got them to near the top of their classes, then focus on getting and saving money so that you can purchase *new cars* or *upgrade your Garage* so that you can purchase *better upgrades* to your cars. Doing races and winning them is how you get that dough. Same with smashing collectibles like *Bear Inflatables* and *Billboards* which gets you some dough. Doing those *Violet Stunt Gates* like Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Drift Zones and so forth are also a good way to get some dough by getting stars. Some of the cosmetic items are unlocked by reaching certain milestones for both *Collectibles and Stunts*. So even if there is not much to do inbetween races, I still recommend seeing if you can squeeze just a bit of extra cash. That is the *money* part.
For the *risk* part, the cops are a bit annoying but they're also a benefit that also ties to the money part. You get cash by *escaping* Cop Chases. The amount you get is depended on your *Heat Level* with Heat Level 5 for example gives you *$2,500* if you end up escaping the chase. This is the maximum you can get out of a chase, and yes they do stack. Compare to previous Need For Speed games, the cops are equally as challenging but also not as scary... except the Undercover ones... they're scary because they don't appear on your map. Be mindful of your car's health and get yourself to a *Fuel Station* if you need a repair. Do note, *Fuel Stations* has at least a *5 minute cooldown* after use. So if you get banged up after that, you have to hold onto it until the Fuel Stations are ready to do another repair job. Thing to note with Fuel Stations, the cooldown is bypassed and are automatically opened once you've escaped a Cop Chase. You can also go into a Safehouse when Escaping pops up, but if you want to get that cash from escaping Cop Chases, you need to make sure those blue bars get emptied. Look for a hiding spot and hold *B* or *Circle* on the Controller to turn the engine off. This reduces the Cops' view radius.
I did a couple of Heat 5s with the car I picked to begin with after the prologue ended, the *2000 Honda Civic Type R* and I haven't gotten busted yet. Tip is obviously do some evasive tactics like taking a sharp turn, try and smack some of the weaker cops if you got plenty of health and of course take some jumps. It sometimes work and other times they keep following you. Of course, use your boost so that you are no longer in their view radius. For helicopters, they struggle to find you when you're in tunnels. So if you only got a helicopter chasing after you, look for a tunnel or some undercover areas. The city area is actually great for this situation. Even the Heavies actually struggle chasing you in the city. So that is the *risk* part.

9:47 I had the same thing happen to me except two helicopters ended up showing up since I stayed there too long. Did not end up getting away that night
i was honestly surprised with how many real like references they have like ex. google,instagram, and reddit it catches me off guard but it surprisingly keeps you somewhat immersed in a weird way
Panthaa is the master of escape. He has his own highway exits
his escapes hurt to watch, they aren't that great. That being said, his videos aren't bad. It's interesting hearing someone from the UK's take on cars, like his mention of how Supra is more common than Eclipse. Eclipse used to be real popular over here in the US, used to see them everywhere, considering how cheap they were. The Supra though, I've only ever seen one IRL.

The part about the eclipse and the supra was in response to one of BlackPanthaa's comments during a video when he was talking about the eclipse and how it was more common to see the supra where he is. Yo, props to you, Theo, for spreading that sustainable lifestyle, even though being a car enthusiast channel. In my eyes - Cars are great for long-distance travel (roadtrips), moving stuff (even like big groceries) and having fun. But you can definetly skip the morning rush hour by going by Train/Tram/Bus/Walking/Cycling. Then you can whip out your 4-wheeled beast in the afternoon, and go for those backroads.

the barracuda is a really good overall B class car.., super smooth in drifting and super predictable due to which you can take it in street races as well despite it being slightly tuned for drift..

If you ever decide to get the custom 400z, keep the original gear box you can mid max the horsepower better

The exige was a crazy sleeper for grip builds in Heat, or at least I didn't see many people use it apart from myself. Should make a nasty S+ car with a motor swap. I think mine had the RB engine in it on heat.
edit: swapped in the 2.3l I4 I think? The motor that is $78k. It has 350 hp and tq stock and just bone stock shreds everything in A+ tier easy. Top end isn't super high stock but u accelerate so fast ur always there
Tip on freeroam: If you "hard slam" into cops from behind, you take little damage and can keep moseying towards your destination, even more helpful when you see 2 cops facing away from you but they're heading the same direction you need to go.
Much like treating it like stealth a mission after heat 4. Oh yeah, you are going to "love" undercover cops.
That foxbody is so pretty though. It's quickly become one of my new faves.

If you’re in between two cops, you can drive past one fast enough and they don’t have enough time to spot you
If you live near big cities like London, the transport system is amazing. But in places such as Scotland, a car will save you a lot of issues.

Btw you should definitely build up the Elige for grip, in a/a+ it’s an absolute little grip monster you could set a wr on Nurburgring with it, top speed is a downside though

Watch out for certain alleyways. I went through 1 in a heat 5 pursuit and it threw and spun my car through the ground. I glitched out and got damage critical and lost all of my earnings (40k).
