| Argentina claimed their fourth victory in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Nations League on Friday when they won against Japan 3-1 (30-32, 25-16, 25-18, 25-21) led by Federico Pereyra on 22 points.
This is what the players said:
Agustin Loser (ARG): We are very happy, we played a very good match. I think we served very well and we had a very good performance in block-defence, too. But in general I think that we played really well in all elements. Match by match we are improving our volleyball and we are very glad about it. It's always difficult to play against Japan, they defend a lot and all rallies are very long, but I think we managed to play very well against them today.
Tatsunori Otsuka (JPN): The first set we were able to win, it was to our advantage. We were competing against each other very hard. In the next sets we were not able to show our volleyball and were not very confident in our game and it was a reason why we lost. I play as an opposite and outside hitter, I do a lot in both positions, but today I managed to do more than I had shown before. I want to use this experience for the future and next games, because I want to be even better.

Where is Yuji Nishida,Yuki ishikawa and Ran takahashi?
Nishida is still recovering from an injury sustained a while back. As for Ishikawa Takahashi and Yamamoto I think Japan just fielded their subs since Argentina is just a bad matchup for them. They do a similar thing against the US a lot but honestly I think they could’ve taken Argentina with their starters so maybe it’s because the olympics are coming up.
@@troypool901 dont forget that vnl is a long tournament, so teams want to rest their players so that they are able to perform at their best in the next game. It is still only the start of the VNL so they don’t want to wear out their players already

Without Yuji and Ran, the Japanese team was almost harmless.

@@yahyaderbeli5215 vnl is a long tournament so not every team is gonna have their best players on the court in every game. They need to rest their players so they dont underperform
Don’t forget Yamamoto sat this one out. Japan thrives off their floor defense but against good teams Ogawa just doesn’t cut it as a libero.

Una duda, por que no jugó Ishikawa si es buenisimo
por que juega solo con equipos buenos jajajja que se yo , lo estaran guardando para los juegos olimpicos igual que nishida y takahashi , todos los otros países si prestas atencion no tienen todos los jugadores titulares , prefieren evitar lesiones y demas , otros supongo que tomaron un descanso ya que la mayoria recien terminaron los torneos de sus respectivos clubes

Se lastimó el tobillo, leí en un artículo que va a llegar a participar de esta vnl.
se lesionó del tobillo hace 1 mes, pero se esta recuperando bastante bien y esta entrenando remates ya, asi que puede que para la siguiente semana o la última llegue a jugar

Sin menospreciar ni criticar tu trabajo, me parece mala idea enfocar todos los videos solo en dos jugadores de cada equipo, en este partido hubieron muchísimos puntos buenos que se pierden porque solo hay highlights de dos jugadores, capaz un resumen más amplio sería mejor 👍🏼

戦術はブラウンコーチ主導でしょ
VNLはオリンピック前の調整で 上位国同士は主力温存の控え選手でやってるし
主力はほぼ決まってるので他の5～6人をだれにするかの選考も兼ねてるでしょ

What the hell is is line up of Japan ??? The coach is experimenting in the middle of the competition where they needed to win. The star players are not in so goodluck.
Yeah, he is experimenting in the middle of a competition that is not the main focus this year. He is testing ALL his players so he can make the decision as to whom he's taking to the Olympic Games which is the actual priority not just for Japan (who's automatically qualified because they're the host so they got to prove something) but for every single team in this year's VNL, Japan is not the only team experimenting with the line-ups, every single team in this VNL are doing it, also he has to give the players a rest, the same players cannot be on court at every single game, is just too much and it can lead to injuries if they don't actually manage the team well. They're playing 3 consecutive days (1 match per day and for japan almost all of them have been 5 set games which is over exhausting) every 3 days which means they don't have that much time to rest. It is only logical that he uses all the players in the roster.
@@YariiJ Yes you're right but their main goal is to win and it is undeniable that there is an imbalance in the line up. The coach can take out one star player from the line up instead of replacing all of them with a rookies (other players in the line up are not a rookie anymore). THE COACH CAN EXPERIMENT BUT HE MUST ALSO CONSIDER TO BALANCE THE LINE UP.
@@OniIrigayen I think he has actually... the only rookies in this match were Otsuka and Ogawa. They just didn't seem to have the condition to keep up with Argentina, a team with strong blocks when they get it going and pretty good game intelligence from their players. Shimizu is stable overall and has a great offense intelligence but he seemed just too exhausted after some time in the game, for Otake, he is just inconsistent and this wasn't one of his best days, nothing really new there, Fukuzawa as much he's always been very reliable in the past, this VNL he's performing poorly (not the Fukuzawa we're used to) Ogawa was pretty stable, Otsuka was a little off if you compare it with his performance in the previous match against Italy, Sekita was stable but sometimes he did seem to be a little off mostly on defense, the middles, well Japan middles are good attackers but their block still needs improvement and Takahashi needs consistency with his serves too. It wasn't a completely bad line up, as they have had this line up before (not counting Otsuka and Ogawa of course) and has worked well, the players just didn't seem to be in good enough condition and that obviously can take a tool on how the team work with each other inside the court.
