You have to be patient and shop several different thrift stores regularly. If you find something you like grab it even if it's not something you have an immediate idea for.
I was in Goodwill the other day, and their prices were outrageous. They were charging more for used Christmas lights than I could go around the corner and buy better ones for!

I love how you create things from high end stores. I am all about reusing/refurbishing however the books are what get me. I feel if you could cover them without glue so that when you tire from the look, you can give the book back to thrift stores. I have used a book for show but it had pages ripped out of it by a child so it was worthless. Just my two cents about reusing things 🥰
