In this episode of my van life adventures, I camp at a beautiful lake, cook fish tacos over a fire, play games and then I head off to a beach in southern Texas to camp right on the shore line where I made good food, watched a gnarly sunset and enjoyed a relaxing night of gaming inside the van!

I'll use this as my diary real quick, just in case someone needs to read this. I just had an incredibly stressful day. My stomach was in knots for 9 hours, I couldn't focus on anything. Then when I said screw it and faced my stressor, I was in shock at how simple it was. It took 2 minutes, and it was effortless. Over time I've gotten so good at other similar things that this felt natural once I started doing it. But it was unrelentingly daunting, not allowing me to think about anything else. Moral of the story? You're far more capable than you give yourself credit. You've figured it out so far, and perfection is impossible so please accept that you are already enough. You could walk through my door right now, and I'd be happy to have you. You don't need to improve or change to deserve love. ♥

The US is such a good country to live in a van, so many states, landscapes, climates, people, to see . You can constantly change places and discover new things without coming back to what you already saw.

Today is my birthday! I share this to say I live in Houston and was out hunting for cupcakes, and I was literally arguing with my daughter that we saw you and I wanted to say hi. I don’t think it was you, seeing your van now, but she says if we see you to leave you be, lol. So if you see a tiny strange black woman waving at you while out and about in Houston, no worries, it’s just me. Will keep my distance though lol.

It's really good to see man reconnecting with nature. I watched a video recently (really wish I could remember what channel) where someone pointed out that society is starting to feel a call back to nature. I believe this is God leading His people back to appreciate His handy work. He truly is the master artist. Trent is on to something here. next time, you should try to take that slaw mix and throw lemon juice and black pepper in a bag to let it marinate. then you could get some pan fish, make a little breading on it, then throw in a taco with some nice cheddar and a tartar sauce made from mayo and pickle. its simple but good bro.
I live in Texas and we grew up taking multiple beach trips each year. Texas has some of the best natural beaches around man! A whole side of Texas is literally coastline lol

Your lifestyle is a reflection of your attitude and I find it very calming :) It looks like hard work but the fruits seem to be much more rewarding than slaving away at some job just to stay stuck at one place.
