In 1986-1987 I did van life right out of high school. Spent 15 months circling the country with my high school sweetheart. I still miss sleeping to the sound of rain on my metal roof. Your video took me right back to my adventures in the White Mountains. Now I'm 56 and thinking about another road trip...off road. I want to see polar bears in the wild and the Aurora Borealis.
I watch your stuff to battle my depression. Your stuff is so chill & relaxing and keeps my mind off of my issues. I live through you as I know ill never be able to do what you do and see such beautiful places. Keep up the amazing work you do I appreciate everything you do.
I’m also watching to battle depression and not think about my current situation. This makes me want to drive off with my Labrador and see the country but I don’t think it would be comfortable in a car
My two year old son saw me watching this video and loved the part with Millie running around in the woods. He was so excited and kept laughing, especially when she rushed the camera lol. Keep up the awesome work Trent!
Trent's awesome personality, beautiful scenery, some nice finger picked guitar, AND Halo... legitimately couldnt have gotten any better of a Vlog. Youve been my favorite TH-camr for about 2 years now, and are just SOARING past everyone else with every upload. Thank you, Trent, for the vibes, dude! Seriously!
dude, honestly, I can't thank you enough, your videos have been magic for me, many of the times I've been feeling down, or depressed, or hyped up, or just felt like watching some spooky good stuff, your channel has it all, your videos have been literally therapeutic for me, so, from a man reaching his 30s to another, thank you.
Yeah I agree with the city life. I use to get bad anxiety. Then when I moved to the country side in a small town, most of my anxiety went away. It’s so peaceful watching these videos 🙏🏼
I think one of the big reasons you are able to take on the Van life Trent is that you’re filled with optimism and are grateful for the little things. I’ve seen tons of your vids already and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but every-time without fail i see you shrug it off and say oh well at least I have xy & z. You always see the light no matter how dim on a cloudy day which makes you so resilient to this type of lifestyle. Not many can embark on it alone, glad you have your rode dog and forever companion Millie to keep you company since ik how lonely solitude can get at times. Keep doing your thing Trent, love your work & your videos.
Dude, do Van life as long as you can, never look back and never regret your decisions. These videos are amazing to watch and experience, exactly the kind of content the world needs imo 👍
Enjoy your life as it comes. If you meet someone and decide to start a family, great, but don’t chase that life unless it’s really calling you. Remember, your biological clock isn’t like woman’s; you can wait til you’re 40 or 50.
I hear you, Chris, but to be loved, and to love someone back, I think, is one of the most beautiful sides of life. Yes, the van life might be nice for a while, and a dog is faithful and all, but a true soul mate is the real deal. Nothing else will bring you the true feeling of being loved by someone, with the same love, interest and warmth as the human touch. It cannot be replaced.
I think what makes your videos so appealing to watch is the fact that your lifestyle is something 99.9% of us will never experience. Therefore, through your experiences and adventures, we can live through you and get a glimpse of what it feels like to live a vanlife. Love the videos
It's just pathetic. People watch and donate to other people who then live the life that people themselves want to live. It's just crazy where we ended up. The world is slowly but surely coming to an end and we are watching a person gambling in his dirty van in nature. Just ridiculous. Instead of doing something and helping the world, there are only selfish people everywhere.
Your video is remind me of why I quit my job and got a camper van. I’m still scared and frustrated that my TH-cam channel isn’t growing, but it’s not going to stop me from going, I’m still going to go on those wonderful adventures that I’ve been looking forward to for the past six years, always dreaming of them and now I’m going to embark on the journey and I will do my best to grow my channel and not care about analytics, I believe with constant improvement and genuine heart it will grow, and the world will see it
I really like this van layout, especially the computer desk and the table up front. Having 2 work/play/eating/siting/relaxing spaces makes for a much more functional van that can easily accommodate 2 people inside on those rainy days. I'm planning to retire into full time vanlife in a few years and seeing all these different van builds on youtube is really helping me refine my own design concept. This is the life for anyone who doesn't want to be surrounded by bs all the time. Awesome video!
@@iSoundpro I'm still undecided on that, but I'm leaning toward letting a professional upfitter do it. Many people do build their own vans, but most people hire a professional. Of course, a professional build costs a lot more, but if you don't have the skills to DIY, that's the way to go.
@@iSoundpro people will often choose the long wheelbase tall roof work vans that are out there, with the Mercedes Sprinter being one of the go-to models. Retired vans from corporate fleets are often a nice "cheap" way to get into owning a van (cheap in quotation marks but these models are high mileage and very used, so they need some fixing before they're good to go for building a camper van). A bus conversion could also work, but these could and probably will get iffy. Other solutions are trailers hooked up to a towing vehicle (such as a truck or an SUV), a pickup truck camper conversion (these are hella cool too), or straight up buying an RV (winnebago or similar). The perks of having a camper van is the stealth and how comparably easier and cheaper they're to set up, but you have very reduced space and it's a somewhat clunky format to live in, quite cramped. As to how to build them? You strip them down, clean them, and start by insulating all surfaces on your living space, and making some framing for the wall construction. Once you have those basics set up, then it's about electricity (depending on if you need to have your living space fully powered, batteries, solar or gas power, etc), plumbing (if you're going to live in it, as opposed to having the van as a recreational vehicle, then you need the proper stuff, water tanks and all), and then furnishing. Old timey RVs did more than enough with storage space, a sink, an eating space, and a bed, so there's that.
Oh man, I can feel that so much when you said that mostly you like to enjoy the silence and hear the wind in the trees. Thats what a good life looks like!
You bring a lot of joy to others. I find your videos so refreshing. Being a nature lover myself I look forward to them and they are absolutely the best on van life. If you settle down and have a family I am sure you will bring your love of nature along on that journey too and share it as a family. Not only have you given and shared a beautiful life with others but you have given that to Millie which I so admire. Thank you for the positivity, comfort and inspiration you bring to others.
NGL I would love to park there where he did look over the lake, play a video game and sip coffee or tea with the rain or not. Maybe toss a line in the water and catch some fish
I've just realized this is my all time favorite Trent The Fine Print video. It just has everything. The rainy day vibes, where he set up camp. All of the music he picked was perfection and him alot of the camera shots. Such a great video. ❤👍
As a 20 year old that goes to college your living the dream bro I'm currently studying in Tech because of remote jobs and I watch your vids they inspire me to do van life when i finally land that kind job. Keep it up👍
Yeah, you're in the White Mountains. My neck of the woods. We have some truly breathtaking scenery here in New England. From amazing beaches, thickly wooded forests, beautiful rolling hills of grass and farm land, plus all the mountains, lakes, and ponds. Best place to live in the whole world...

I don't usually enjoy vlog content, but your stuff is so chill that I can't help but enjoy watching! Also props on your sound design, or lack of, cause the noises of nature, the van and otherwise outside stuff that really make it feel I'm there with ya.
that diner looked so dope. places like that are beyond rare these days. loving your vids man. i found your channel a couple of hours ago and i am IN HEAVEN.
1 AM Pst and i stumble across this video/channel and i must say, it is therapeutic just watching and enjoying these videos of you and your little MILLIE, venturing off and enjoying each others company. Much Love to yah and your little one!
I love COZY times in the forest. Don't worry about when life happens. No matter what, plans never go as planned. So worrying about planning it almost makes it worse. You have plenty of time to have kids, a family, land to take care of. It is alot to be around someone, even someone you love 24/7. Keep making fun Cozy times.
Dude, i hope you realize the greatness of this work you do. Every video you continue to impress us with your ability of literally just enjoy and really appreciate this kind of a lonely life, also, while sharing your experience with us. Keep up the good work man. I Love your content.
Trent. I know more than likely you won't see this, but it doesn't matter. I feel what you're talking about. When I was young, my stepfather taught me how to fish. But it's not JUST about fishing. It's also taking the time to enjoy Nature, in all it's splendor. I've had my feet washed by both Oceans in this world. But to be honest, there are A great many places I haven't gone to yet. And even though it isn't Real life, I see some of them through your videos. And for that, I am truly grateful. Been enjoying the ride, very much so. ❤
My dude, your videos bring so much joy to my life as ultimately van life is my goal one day. As a gamer, it is nice to know that it is possible to live this way and still enjoy some of those "comforts" of life. Thank you for giving us a peek into your Van Life and sharing your experiences with us!
Ahhh…Trent, you put out the best videos! I find so much therapy in your content. My only wish is that they were longer videos. I could seriously just hang with you and Milly (sp?) all day! I’m always hungry after watching you cook. You’ve got the guitar vibes going, the peaceful ambiance of the nature around you, meeting people in town. Loved the guy at the laundry mat. Did you remember to go back and get the laundry?? 😂 Truly I cannot have a bad day after watching your shows. Thank you 🙏 ❤
I'm currently doing exactly this with my partner in a caravan around Australia. Been on the road 5 months so far and loving it. Starlink and gaming laptop is game changer on the road. Keeps you in touch with friends as you have said in other videos. Your vids inspired me to live this life so thank you so much for that. ❤
I may not do van life per se, but these episodes inspire me to get a van for trips, while keeping my car for everyday local stuff. So many alternative ways to live!
I love this channel! 🤘💜🤘 I can totally see my adult son doing this, he's just left his job, has savings and needs a change of life. His passion for vehicles and gaming totally fit what youre doing. He already said he loves your van, so I'm going to share this video with him for a lil bit of a nudge nudge 😊 Cheers mate 🤘🦘🇦🇺🦘
I watch a lot of van channels and your van brings much joy not just because of the gaming setup but the simplicity but very classy look , it’s really fantastic. Happy travels
Just want to say that your videos, I absolutely live vicariously through. You are perfect for this type of thing, and you bring me such joy with each video. I just discovered you (two months ago) with the haunted vids that you put out, and at first was like, I give you mad props for being in those places and to add, overnight! Then just started watching the other videos and have grown to love them more. It's very tranquil and you don't have to do much because it's the adventure that means the most and we're all along with you. It's so cool. Thank you and much love to you brother.
I love your videos, your relation with Millie and the courage to get on the van and travel all Over the country.... I'm almost turning 40 and I'm feeling a litle bit Lost in life...your way of living putting thinking in my life and my choices.... kisses and love from Portugal ❤
I love the rainy day vibes with a good book and my pups.. bliss ❤ My husband is a PC gamer so I love your gamer meets nature vibes, since we both love being in nature , but also enjoy our modern conveniences. Always enjoy your content, stay happy and safe to both you and your amazing pup, we love her!
I definitely prefer videos that show daily life in vans and tiny houses as opposed to the tours. Thanks for the content. I built a tiny house now I think I want to try a van build.
this give me a peaceful moment, every nature you stepped into looks awesome, especially the moment at 24:32"", sitting on a bed looking out a wide open marvelous green land !! clouds hanging at the peak of mountains, river flowing gently without telling much but whispering "welcome home" !!!
Mili is the highlight of my day! I love your videos, been binge watching you since I found you 3 days ago. I've watched probably 40 videos of you so far🐾🐾
Found your videos on my feed today and I love your content. Dude, do the Van life for as long as possible! You're living a unique life! As for Millie, what a gorgeous dog!
Ahhh, love the bedding! Eggplant and Olive look good on YOU! My daughter and her husband just bought their first Sprinter Van and it’s parked behind my house while they raft the Green River. They will be taking their show on the road too, very soon. ☮️ Loved this episode a whole darn bunch and that’s a lot❤
just need to watch these while I work -- just gives a sense of tranquility that is not in so many lives including my own... my sincere thanks for all of your hard work...
I love these vanlife vlogs! as a "soon to be vanlifer" i love watching Trent's videos of average days like this and I can imagine it for myself. Trent's van was my inspiration for my vanbuild. Less than a month and i'll be full time living in the Promaster! Trent, have you had any major mechanical issues with your van? and how many miles have you put on it since 2020?
I moved from the north east to Florida...Florida is nice, but I do miss the rainy cooler weather from time to time. Gives a valid excuse to be lazy periodically
dude u r just living your best life to the fullest. Chilling all day on the lap of nature and gaming all night long. Wish to live this kinda life once in the future !!!
I’m a new subscriber, love your channel and your approach to life. You are a breath of fresh air. The love your dog has for you (and vice versa) is so wonderful to watch, I can’t help but smile when I see her wagging tail when you give her a treat, or how much she loves catching the ball in the snow. Keep up the great work!
First time seeing a video of yours. To say that I'm inspired is an understatement. You look truly happy and your life seems so peaceful. Keep sending us these cozy vibes. Subscribed and can't wait for more!
Just found your channel in my feed and watched this video. You were in one of my favorite areas. It brought back some good memories seeing you go through there. Can't wait to see more of your content.
I love watching your videos they make me feel all warm n cozy with ya! You're truly an amazing person and I hope one day you do settle down n have a family and when u do leave van life plz always keep up us updated! We will miss seeing these videos I'm surr!
Your speech along with what you are doing is helping me a lot to improve my English, I really like this type of content and I am very happy that I found your channel. hug from Brazil.
Dude I love your content so much. What’d you do to make ends meet and to be able to afford this lifestyle? PS I live in NH and I’m STOKED to watch this video!
im not trying to ruin the mood here, but everytime he sits outside im worried some giant bear appears, you need to have something to defend yourself from a bear
Most bear attacks are only when the bear is being defensive like protecting their home or cubs. Bears dont go out of their way to cause trouble unless they are starving. Im more worried about when he sets his spacelink satelite on his van in the middle of a street hahaha.
I just discovered you're chanel today, binge watching nine video's so far. I liked and subscribed at the forest fire tower. Need to review what I watched to make sure I hit the like button on all of them. You are living the dream. 👍🇺🇲👍 You were at Arnold's Wayside Diner, my friend's and I ate there when we traveled the eastern seaboard, great food.
Im a delivery driver out of Manchester, NH and have worked for my company long enough to get all western and northern routes. Love driving through the mountains in NH, VT and even NY.
Currently living off grid in a 12 m house bus with my wife and 2 kids. We stay stationary for the most part due to our jobs but we are saving so much money that soon we will be able to just travel for years at an end. So it is possible to continue the van lifestyle even when kids come along, you just have to up size a bit.
this is exactly what I want. I like gaming and also the nature . I always want to go travelling . Gaming and travelling at the same time is a dream for me
this dog is full of love its incredible

Cheers mate 🤘🦘🇦🇺🦘
This is so sweet, he's very lucky to have such support!
@@meggggg Oh thankyou ☺
Thank you for sharing your life and travels with all of us, and for your openness and vulnerability. You are such an inspiration!!
May you remain safe everytime out in the wild
Still lost and I’ll be 45.🌻
Lost as well in the age of 45🐦🐦🐣
PLEASE more videos of you playing with Millie - she is an awesome dog!
That diner is straight out of the 40's - so cool!! Looks like a perfect Hollywood set piece for a mystery TV series lol.
I love the rainy day vibes with a good book and my pups.. bliss ❤
My husband is a PC gamer so I love your gamer meets nature vibes, since we both love being in nature , but also enjoy our modern conveniences. Always enjoy your content, stay happy and safe to both you and your amazing pup, we love her!
Please continue uploading long vlogs🥰 Millie is soooo cuuuute 😻
I definitely prefer videos that show daily life in vans and tiny houses as opposed to the tours. Thanks for the content. I built a tiny house now I think I want to try a van build.
It's so relaxing to see your every day van life. I especially love watching Millie; she's soooo cute! What a sweet face!
those classic kinds of diners are always so cozy and just relaxing to me. I'll never stop loving them
It is so nice to be out in nature. The sound of nature is so calming and you are in a beautiful area. Love your videos! 🦋🌿💚
Millie jumping at 17:02 is the cutest thing ever
Fr ✨😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
A side awning over the sliding door would be a nice upgrade. Could keep the door open when it's raining, also nice for a shady spot in full sun.
What an amazing pup you have now. The absolute perfect companion for your travels.
this give me a peaceful moment, every nature you stepped into looks awesome, especially the moment at 24:32"", sitting on a bed looking out a wide open marvelous green land !! clouds hanging at the peak of mountains, river flowing gently without telling much but whispering "welcome home" !!!
Love this new style of video you’ve been trying out Trent! So simple and entertaining at the same time
Dope to see you up in NH, its gorgeous here in the Fall! Im attempting to build my own van soon and hopefully do some similar stuff in the future
Can't wait for that dude!
Huge love from India 😊🥰
Trent you're such an inspiration and a pleasure to watch and unwind to! Thank you for being you and sharing your journeys with us!
I'm Brazilian First video of yours that I watch, TH-cam I recommend it and I watched it, it's a very good video, it gives a good vibe
This kind of channel, should be put in the category of; sleepy, calming, no anxiety, music...
This would be my soooo Heavenly to sleep too ❤
Ahhh, love the bedding!
I don't play WoW but I swear it must be the chillest thing ever to have that OST and gameplay with the breeze coming in and those sights around you
Glad to see you're back at it again Trent! really missed seeing your cozy, fun, adventures!
I got a question can you point me into th direction of how you obtained all the information necessary for vanlife
im guessing he used google@@AbeBaeissa
So you on the road now?
Keep up the great work!
this video makes me wanna leave everything, get a van and bring my pc and my dog and just vibe out to this life and travel the states.
Love Trent’s videos! They are relaxing for me and this one has so much of Millie 😊
I could not stop smiling during this whole video. FeelsGoodMan
A gamer van layout. This is freaking awesome lol. I like how neat and organized the van is. Better than my setup at home 😂😂
As well there is no equipment to make video picture from 3 points at scene, make a clear sound and no opearotors around ...
Bro, I just turned 30, picked up what is basically my dream job, and now all I want to do is travel in a van.
Awesome as always. Thank you for sharing. GOD BLESS YOU AND MILLIE
What a relaxing and "cozy" day you and Silly Millie had. I love that each one of your days is different. Awesome !
Such a beautifully soul’d person. Wishing you all that you desire, Trent.
Continue shining and striving!
This dude is living the life I wanna live.
I'm sure you've already heard but I recommend looking into the better help controversy. I understand getting the bag and all but they're...awful.
100%
he said it before, his income is from youtube and sponsorship
The slo mo of him petting the dog while talking about therapy was like watching an anti depressant commercial 😂
im not trying to ruin the mood here, but everytime he sits outside im worried some giant bear appears, you need to have something to defend yourself from a bear
Most bear attacks are only when the bear is being defensive like protecting their home or cubs. Bears dont go out of their way to cause trouble unless they are starving. Im more worried about when he sets his spacelink satelite on his van in the middle of a street hahaha.
Same dude
Go buy a shogun, this is America mate.
This is America MATE?@@elleblackwelltrhh59
Sometimes people have that stuff that stream. And just don’t show or mention it.
I just discovered you're chanel today, binge watching nine video's so far.
I liked and subscribed at the forest fire tower.
Need to review what I watched to make sure I hit the like button on all of them.
You are living the dream. 👍🇺🇲👍
You were at Arnold's Wayside Diner, my friend's and I ate there when we traveled the eastern seaboard, great food.
Im a delivery driver out of Manchester, NH and have worked for my company long enough to get all western and northern routes.
Love driving through the mountains in NH, VT and even NY.
These campers cost more than some houses !!!!
I was just in this same area and ate at the same diner 2 weeks ago. Love New Hampshire.
Gaming and travelling at the same time is a dream for me
I drive thought New Hampshire quite often, I love that state, it is so scenic and beautiful!
You are quite the musician! I'm all caught up with current videos, so now I'm re-watching history. Thank you.
