Another great video Sebastian as always you are very detailed and informative. I think something raunchy like Fishnet would be interesting to see what they come up with. I would be interested in trying Leopard being that I already own Greek Keys. I enjoyed the way you described it and could tell by your reaction to smelling it that it is a good one. I am a big fan of the presentation of this house as well.

interesting concept and the presentations are great.
Tartan sounds the most unique to me from the notes call out.
I really liked the edit, with the creators description and your perspective.
I'm sure it was a bit of a pain to do, but made for an entertaining watch.

What a great concept! I especially liked leopard then possibly tartan. It's nice to have such a wide range to choose from. In the future I think silk or cashmere might be interesting. Am in Florida, US. Beautiful bottle presentations and love the fabric inside. Sarah did an excellent job of choosing perfumers.

I really enjoyed this review! So different to have fragrance inspired by fabric. I think I like the sound of Lace...I like the notes. What I think would be an interesting fabric to try to design a fragrance around would be polka dots. As always your reviews are super informative and having the back and forth with Sarah Baker was spot on.

Great review Sebastian. Thanks for introducing this new brand. They all sound fantastic. Would love to see Sarah do a Houndstooth or boucle....I'm thinking Leopard or Lace...but Greek Key and Tartan...difficult choices.

Those bottles 😍 they look so unique , like nothing i've seen before and love the additional cloth it's representing. The variety of all the different fragrances is superb , all so different.
I appreciate you also highlighting sarah herself , wonderful to see the artist themselves getting the shine they deserve 👍
Greek keys sounds the best to me purely from botb your descriptions , it reminds me of holidays in the mediterranian with my family.
I'd like to see her tackle leather , because most leather fragrances smell so similar to me , so i'd love a unique take on it 👌

This is a great concept fabric inspired fragrances, its very unique. I loved that Sarah Baker explained her inspiration behind the fragrances and I love that you gave your honest opinion of them. Maybe the next fragrance could be inspired by leather. I love to try the Leopard fragrance and I live in the USA.

Great review Sebastian. I really like that you often feature artisan perfumers, new, and smaller houses. Many of us might never know about the ever expanding of niche perfumery if not for your reviews. I'd love Sarah to use blue velvet as an inspiration for a perfume. Love sandalwood, so Leopard would be my jam. I live in Chicago.

That Tartan perfume with bread and tobacco notes intrigues me! I ordered the sampler set to try them all! Citrus scents are a favorite so Greek keys interests me too. Great review! I like the fabric theme and hope she chooses cashmere next with pumpkin and fall scents in it! 👍

Really cool concept and presentation. I love the pairing of visual and kinesthetic cues from the fabric with the olfactory nature of the perfume. Almost evocative of the theme of synesthesia. Along the same lines, I would love to see her pair a scent with a particular style of dance in the future. How cool would that be? Tartan DEFINITELY sounds like my cup of tea. Especially for autumn. The cuts to Sarah were also a welcome change Sebastian. Cheers from Canada.

I love the inspiration of these, the fragrance notes, and the bottles are all stunning! I think Greek Keys is probably the one most suited for me. I am in the USA. I was thinking of ideas for an answer to your question for future ideas that stay in the fashion theme...maybe a fragrance with the houndstooth motif? I was fascinated with this pattern as a kid. It was a huge trend.

I didn't realize that about the fragrance matching the fabric. I think fragrance does take us to another place, it can make memories tangable..powerful stuff. Presentation is beautiful. I was able to purchase a 9 ml Tartan last year and love it so much. It's a sitting in front of your fireplace, all cozy, drinking a whiskey or bourbon...with the smell of fresh bread baking in the kitchen. It's such a comfort scent to me. This is what I go for on days I need a hug. Love it!! USA

That was wonderful! Both of you did such a great job describing them I feel like I could almost smell them.
They all sound like they smell amazing! But without knowing what the actually smell like and just by the descriptions givin I'd have to say Lace would be my top choice then Greek Keys. But I'd love to smell them all!
I love the inspiration too. So different and fun. Always enjoy a good back story and visual. I feel like it adds to the impact of the sent.
In regards to a future fabric I'd have to say maybe denim. Like a very masculine sent, the classic hard working man kind of sent but while still being subtle and not too over powering.
    I'm thinking very earthy
    Or
Maybe something a little lighter and creamier like Chiffon?
Thank you for the generous giveaway!

Great review Sebastian!! I was surprised she didn't discuss some of the history behind how certain cloths are made especially the greek key and tartan.. even lace has an amazing story if you look for it. Since the fragrances are supposed to be inspired by fabric I was expecting more about the fabric itself not scenarios. I was surprised to hear the 'lace on the floor of a hotel the night after".. seems to be missing the point of something that could have way more meaning and special connections for people to actually resonate with. Just a thought, not to be critical but hopefully an honest opinion is helpful somewhere. The bottles are lovely and the fragrances do sound interesting but as you I also look for the unique factor to wow me. Thanks for your honesty as always,,

Thanks, I understand what you mean but to be honest, the history of fabric doesn't interest me and I don't think that would be a fun way to experience fragrances; it's more interesting to me to try to encapsulate a scene and a mood that the fabric inspires. I feel like the audience who get the chance to experience the fragrance are then transported to an imaginary scene in another time or part of the world. As an artist I want to evoke a setting, paint the picture, or as the say in film- mise en scéne.

I'd love to try Tartan the most (Leopard was very appealing though, and sounded very old-school...I almost picked that). Havent seen hops as a note before, which sounds awesome since I love IPAs.
For future motif inspirations, maybe wet wool. It doesnt smell nice, but it's so earthy and dirty, it would be a nice note.

I like the sound of Leopard. Sounds like my type of fragrance. Would like to win that if I’m lucky. United Kingdom. Thank you Seb, I like the way you bring different and unknown brands to our attention and also your descriptions are on point. Would like to see Sarah do Satin or Cashmere.

They are truly beautful products, I think they sound interesting; with leopard and tartan being the most interesting. I probably would go with tartan seeing as you personally think its one of the best of selection and I love boozy scents If the concept continues I think she will run out of interesting motifs to base them on but I guess there are some interesting ones she can still use; maybe Velvet, Tweed, and obviously a leather or suede scent. I'm in the UK.

The presentation looks simple but amazing - love the bottle design ... I really enjoyed how you added Sarah to explain the reasons behind her unique creations - was great to see her passion -
Leopard stood out for me as a fragrance that I would really love to wear - sounds like it makes a good office scent - Tattan also sounds fantastic - would love to win either bottle - you’re videos are always so informative Sebastian - crossing my fingers - and - leads and eyes to win a bottle - I’m New Jersey - USA - take care Sebastian

I do like the concept behind the line, but cannot see the connection between the name and notes. My order is the same as your's, the Leopard one is probably the real deal of the selection. Sarah seems to be a very nice person, I wish her luck to be a success. I live in Hungary.

It baffles me how nobody thought of this concept before?! Fashion and perfumery have been so intertwined that i guess we have overlooked the obvious :)) Presentation looks good and looks worth the price! I am very curious about Tartan, but you had me at rose so im going with LEOPARD. Ugh i this rose obsession has to stop all i buy are rose centered scents haha. But if i were to win the draw and youre already giving away leopard, i would be just as happy to receive tartan :))
thanks again for another video and giveaway!

Wow! Fashion motifs are an original idea for a line of fragrances. My personal favorite would be Tartan. I like the buddha wood, cedarmoss, hops, jasmine tea and Iso E Super composition. I love your reviews, Sebastian. 🧢 You are so passionate about perfumery and it shows. I appreciate your fresh take on things. I love your relaxed, down to earth presentation and sense of humor. Other fashion motifs...mine would be paisley. I love paisley! I live in Florida, USA. 🧥👘👠😎

Yup Paisley is on my wish list. Thanks!

      @francesformiller7667 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Sarah, I can imagine paisley as sultry yet intense, incensey and probably with patchouli. Paisley was prevalent during the 60's.😎
Another major love of mine is Japanese motiff..this paragragh states it best, "Named Japonisme by French artists, the application of Japanese motifs such as flowers, birds, dragons, waves usually seen on kimonos extended to the west. Kimono’s, still worn regularly by the Japanese, were central to the expansion of Japonisme into fashion." From the attached link.👘🎏🎐🎋

This is a nice and unique concept. I love fabrics and designs. They all sound great, but I guess I am interested in Tartan the most. It would be nice to have a fragrance inspired by Gingham (Vichy ruit / Brigitte Bardot) in the future. Regards from The Netherlands.

Nice review. Leopard and lace sound good to me. I sew, so I like the fabric idea- I was even wondering how big the little piece in the box was😀. Tokyo Milk came out with fabric which was fun, combining two things I love, fragrance and sewing. I love KaffeFassett’s fabric. Would love a fragrance inspired by his fabric, some sort of collaboration perhaps. I live in California.
