Wow,, It seems extraordinary with scenic, must travel once. Thank you Himalayan Wander for such stupendous views of Langtang.😍 Doing marvellous jobs, keep exploring Spotless views n keep on updating. 💐
I did this exact trek in October of 2018. The bus ride from Kathmandu to the base was very scary. It's a very bumpy ride and all along the edge of the mountain with no railings. The bus is 1 ft from the edge of side of a cliff. I didn't actually think we'd fall off but very anxiety provoking. And it's for hours and hours. Secondly- I made it to kyangjin gompa but I couldn't make it to the top bc of severe altitude sickness. I felt terrible not only physically, but letting my friend miss the chance to get to the top which was only another 1 hr away. He helped me stay somewhat sane the entire night we had to stay in the tea house because just felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen, and the anxiety made it worse and had to really focus on relaxing. Scary feeling for sure. We only had 5 days to complete this though and we covered a lot of elevation in short period of time that my body could not adjust to the altitude change. I'm a pretty fit guy so Id stupidly thought Id have no issue with this. Lesson learned. Would love to go back and complete this!
fantastic video! one question, do you think you could have done Syabrubesi to Kyanjin Gompa in just 2 days? Day 2 would then be from Lama Hotel to Langtang (6am to noon) and to Kyanjin Gompa in the afternoon. Planning this trip for April but on a tight schedule. Thank you!
Thank you @FrancescoStasi. If you are an experienced trekker, you can do the first day from Syabrubesi to Riverside and the Next day to Kyanjing Gomba.
