    Hey guys,
    In today's video, I started the Langtang Valley Trek here in Nepal. This is the first day of the trek from the Village of Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. I found it extremely difficult this day and wanted to give up but the main reason was my bag was far to heavy. Eventually I made it to Lama hotel where I rested up with some hot food and tea.

    I remember my tears falling from my eyes on day 1 of trekking to that place with group of my classmates as I couldn’t just sit back and keep up the speed to not to get left out..
    But from day 2, I was always ahead walking in front.. somehow got used to walking and climbing.. and I am 25 too..

    Just watched all of your videos from Nepal
    Stay safe and cheers from Kathmandu!
    Also just wanna say that in most treks in Nepal, the first or second days are always the most difficult ones but you must always carry on as the reward in the end is much much big and amazing.

    Nice video. It reminded me of my visit to langtang. We went from Sundari jal to gosaikunda which took us 4 days trekking. Walking all day and sleeping in tent in the middle of jungle preparing your own food. That was amazing experience i had.

    me and my two friends did our langtang trek in 2017 and we reached the langtang valley in one and a half day. We did not stay at the lama hotel as we were willing to walk and could walk so we kept going on and rather stayed at the only 'riverside hotel'. The initial 5-6 hours of this trek is challenging and tough but totally worth it. The trek gets comfortable after you pass the riverside hotel. Staying at the lama hotel is not ''necessary'' but if you want to take it slow and take your time with the trek then why not.
    My respect for the porters went way up above when i witnessed them carrying weights and walking up and down the trails.

    Breast feeding is legal in Nepal, here people next to mom don't feel anything wrong. They're so open minded, kind hearted and patience enough to struggle for their livelihood.

    • @anonymously5367
      @anonymously5367 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As it should be.
      Breast feeding a hungry kid should be normalized across the globe.
      So stupid of him to mention it as if someone shat beside him 😒

    • @chriskelly9476
      @chriskelly9476 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anonymously5367 I think its more that it's not something you see often in certain countries. You're right, breastfeeding in public should be normalized, but unfortunately in many countries, it isn't. Where I live it's not. Women are expected to be a bit discreet rather than just popping a boob out where everyone can see. I don't agree, but sadly that's how it is.

    Hi, so it was no problem doing the langtang trek alone without a guide? Cause everyone keeps saying a guide is “highly recommended“

    • @ryerye6587
      @ryerye6587 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because "highly recommended" does not mean required. But if you are a single trekker and can afford a guide, i think you should get one. It is safer and more fun trekking with someone. You could find other trekkers but you would have to adjust your pace and schedule with them which is not always easy. Speaking from experience, i would have been happier with my trek if I wasn't alone all the time.
