Thanks for the tip on the mineral oil ( I saw the comment on Linseed oil ) I always used a leather conditioner, and didn't like how it looked around the stitching . I will give the oil a try 😺

I'm soooo tempted to order a Nomad and see how it compares to my Ka-bar BK 7.

Honestly I think of the BK 9 when I look at the nomad, the shape profile and the handle.. I love the convex grind and the steel of the nomad

That's a hard decision 😂 if you wanted to be able to chop a little better I'd get a Nessmuck if you don't care about that then the Montañero
