Great review Mike, I'm torn with the pixel watch 2. I like the interface, fluid and works nicely with a pixel. I do wish it was a little bigger and had better battery life though. Let's see if the pixel watch 3 XL rumours are true 😎🔥❤️
thanks a lot Joe! I guess I got used to the small size, although it does make it easy to wear with long-sleeved clothes and doesn't get banged when my arms flail around. But yes a larger model is much appreciated.

Daily battery suckssssss but I love mine
I don't play on it throughout the day but I charge at the same time pretty much everyday and battery's often on 35% ish
Would it work well as a kind of out of the house phone?
If you mean a non pixel brand phone it works with everything android 9.0 or higher. No iOS interface so far.
