- Amateur video. I needed to help some of you guys by showing you how to install the charging handles on your Beautiful Tokarev TAR12 AR12 Shotguns. I know I say Pin a lot but what I mean to say is Charging Handle. hope that I cleared up confusion and gave you guys some helpful information. don't judge me please. I'm only trying to help.

Ditto on the owners manual. I went on their website, and guess what they had-the same as the manual. I learned............nothing. This video covered everything I needed to know.

I just watched the disassemble video, that I scanned from instruction booklet in the box. It is extremely helpful and does show how to take the pin out (same as putting it in). This is def a helpful video but also check the other one out as well.
Nice video. I was able to do it solo by fiddling the bolt sleeve up a little with rhe charging handle while it had free play.
Mine should be here in a couple of days. Thanks so much in advance because I was hearing about the charging handle installation issues people were having. Hopefully, Tokarev gives better instructions moving forward. Great video!!!!

I just got this one in and I wish I had never bought it!!! First of all, there was no instruction manual in it. I have never had to put a charging handle on a shotgun before and this one was a pain in the butt!! I had no idea that I would have to disassemble part of it to install something that should have been installed at the factory. Very aggravating! Thanks for the video, it took some effort for me to finally get it to snap in, but I finally got it. Then, I almost had to take something hard to push the bolt lock button in to close the bolt. The spring is too tight for someone to push it in. Hopefully, it will loosen up some as I use it. Plus, installing the sights was another headache. This took far too long to get it ready for shooting. DON'T GET THIS THING!! It's junk!!
You're right. Putting on the grip and sights is a pain in the ass. I think part of the rail is a little too big just by a mm. It took a lot of force to get it to fit on correctly. I could see a little plastic being sheared off when I was putting on the sights. Pain in the ass for sure. But once she's put together and ready, it's not so bad. I haven't put any other attachments on because I figured I would have the same problem.
45 mins is how long I fucked with the damn charging handle before finding your video and installing it in 2 mins. Thanks alot man!! Definitely a lifesaver!

You can put masking tape over the lenses and make your recordings even more narrow.

Yeah. It has a manual safety on the opposite side.

So I put the handle is but mine is still loose but it will allow me to pull the bolt back. I dont know whether I should buy another handle or just leave it alone since I got it in there.
Did it click in? It shouldn't be loose. As long as you're sure it's not going to fall out, it might be alright. I would try it again.
I got lucky and got the display model with it already installed.

What is the charging handle for and why isn’t it already installed when you buy the gun ? Not sure why anyone would have to assemble this ?
The charging handle is a pin with a handle that is required in order to load the shotgun shell into the chamber. A bullet cannot be loaded into the chamber without pulling the bolt back.
@@microrest Awesome thanks for the explanation I actually almost bought one of these at a gun show the other day, I still will ,but I wanted to research them first. Did not consider having to install a charging handle-pin.
Most shotguns do have it installed but I believe they aren't putting the charging handle on this model for shipping purposes. Removing it allows it to be placed in the thin box that they ship it in.

@@CarnivoreguyScott for the price, I think it's a really good shotgun. Only other issue is you will notice a slight hairline sized difference between the size of the picatinny rails. There's another guy who recently did a review on this model, and he talks about that. Aside from that, it's a sweet machine. It comes with 3 different chokes. And it fits up to a 3" 12 gauge shell. It can do anything a regular shotgun can, plus it works like a rifle. I've fired slugs through it, no problem.
Guess I am still screwed cuz I don't have a wife to hold on to it while I put it together. ( just kidding man...great tip...lol)

Dammmmmittt.....lol yup i wuz 1 those fulls smh wish I would have saw this video before I busted out the file before I busted out the grinder so lucky I didn't damage it but I definitely grinded the hell out of it got it on there and took it to the ranger couple times already never gave me an issue kind of figured you're not going to make that so you have to put it on and require all that extra hard labor lol nice video bro
