seems well thought out, but a good question you had on the way it does combat vs the feel of super powers. A good table can always make it work, but it would be good to see.
I've never been much for superheroes, but I'd love to play in a game run by someone who's really into it. I could imagine it being a lot of fun. Still haven't played Savage Worlds, though I played a lot of Deadlands back in the day, so I imagine I would pick it up quickly. I do remember the learning curve for Deadlands was rough, though I gather Savage Worlds smooths things out quite a bit. I used to raid Superworld, back when I was running a lot of Worlds of Wonder (Basic Roleplaing) in my early RPG days. But that's as close as I ever got to super heroic gaming, I think. Somewhere in the stacks, I have a copy of Aberrant, White Wolf's attempt at the genre. I remember it had some intriguing character creation ideas, but never played it and never knew anyone who did. One of the best GMs I ever had apparently ran a long-term Marvel Superheroes game back in the 80s that was supposed to be amazing. Sadly, by the time I got a chance to play in his games, he was GMing very, very rarely, and was only doing Call of Cthulhu. I mean, the Call of Cthulhu games were great. But his games of Marvel and of GURPS The Prisoner were legendary in the local community.
Might talk with Avenue Studios and maybe try and make it out in March... my next trip should be in Feb, so in theory I should be able to make it.... just depends on travel and all that.
I love Savage Worlds, it's my favorite system and the Supers Companion is phenomenal. Thank You for sharing your thoughts on this Wes. 😊
Thanks! And thanks for watching. I need to play this.
Remember with great Dependent comes great responsibility..
Very great.

Very much so, I really want to see it in action to see how the feel carries over.

Oh… old Marvel is so fun! Sorry you missed it!
