It is not only the duel of true and fake, body and soul. It's also the duel of the first dream and the last obsession.Actually Dr.Willy doesn't really want to control the world,he just want to create a hero. And even if it is different, but zero did.
Fun fact, if you look at the background one of the pieces of Omega second form in the remains of the lab looks like a Yellow W in *your* side of the arena.
I honestly think my favorite parts of this track were the new original rearrangements starting from 1:15. From what I've seen, It feels like when most people try to remix or rearrange Cannonball, they usually consciously (Or subconsciously) default to re-doing and keeping or copying the entire melody/ arrangement of the middle of the Mythos version with the synth and guitar call and response, which definitely usually makes sense considering how well-known and popular it is. I really like and admire how it seems like you pushed yourself to not simply copy the base material, though it likely would have been easier, yet still really cool if you had gone that route. However, even while saying the above, ironically the part that stuck out to me most was 2:10 and on until the reprise. This is the ONLY part where I felt the Mythos track inspiration, more or less mimicking the final part where the synth and guitar finally riff together at the end of the call and response added section. The tempo and pacing of it is similar enough, but what I love about it most is how you tonally shifted things around enough that it truly feels thematically different. While the Mythos part feels like a really intense and bombastic finale to an otherwise epic anime battle track, this singular culmination of your version of the piece feels more like an heartfelt, desperate struggle of present vs. past; Zero struggling and fighting tooth and nail against the ruthless and unforgiving concept of what he knows he was designed and created to be. It gives it an entirely different emotional impact. Recontextualizing known and beloved material from a famous piece that's extremely familiar to me (as someone who loves the Mythos version) is something I can always appreciate, but I absolutely adore that such a unique take on an otherwise familiar concept was able to make me feel and take away something entirely different, even if that wasn't your intention. It not only moved me, but it also undoubtedly made the song for me. This is what makes it surpass Mythos in my eyes: another commenter used the word 'powerful', and I agree completely. Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing.
wow..this means a lot, I'm really surprised that you noticed all my intentions and described the process I went through to make the song that way. I don't know if you already read what I said in my last post about the project, but yes, one of my goals was to achieve something similar to Mythos (my favorite MM album) and to be on their level in one way or another. And the fact that your favorite parts are the original arrangements that I made is amazing to me... thank you very much Marcus, really :)
I have to agree with op. The 1:15 part is the one that caught my interest and still is. I sure wished it was used twice in the track but I'm grateful that @frozenith took his time to make the music this good
Wow, your analysis is pretty spot on this remix of the most iconic Omega Zero battle theme, especially with how you managed to do a in-depth breakdown on parts of the track that really gives vibes of Zero truely facing the manifestation of what he was destined to be in the form of Omega. Whom is a megalomaniacal monster with a God complex(his infamous quote says it all) who desires nothing more than to spread carnage, destructions and mayhem to anything that he's directed at, hence giving the fitting name of this track, *Cannonball*. Another thing love how this new rearrangement of the song of how it makes use of the electronic rhythm, and synthesize melody, conveying the vibe and atmosphere of the Telos version of the song with the of the face pace drum beats and guitar strings of the popular rock mythos version. Giving off impression of an intense battle between the red figures that represent aspects of Zero himself and in retrospect Wily himself. The Copy body with the original memories of Zero we know and unintentionally the long lost spirit Wily's original dream of making robots heroes, and Omega, the blood thirsty God of destruction and Red devil representing the evil Wily has done but turned up to 11 and the intended purpose of Zero. Both whose blades cross and clashed in an all-out vicious duel to determine which Zero is the true one, the original soul or original body?
Amazing. I like how you strive to achieve and finally succeeded in creating a version of this that is uniquely yours. It would be wrong to compare you to Mythos, because my ears are telling me that your piece of work and Mythos are two sides of the same coin. Same music, same fans, but uniquely arranged.
Thanks a lot for your kind words! it means a lot to me. I always wanted to make music at Mythos standard, but never to replace it, because for me as a fan and as musician I think that album is perfection. I just wish that Zero Memories continues to be listened in the next years, and be remembered alongside Mythos as brothers :)

Hi Lucas! you can make remixes, covers and arrangements of songs without problem, and share it on TH-cam. If the platform finds that you have copyright issues, it will let you know and can split the share with the copyright owners or demonetize your video. You will have to try it out!
