I ordered and just received the 10 piece suspension replacement kit (ball joints, tie rods and links) for my 2014 TOYOTA Tacoma. Gonna tackle it all tomorrow! Quick shipping and great prices. ! Thanks for the videos. You got a new customer. David
Thanks for the video. Replacing mine tomorrow. Looks pretty straightforward, thankfully. Watched your video to make sure there wasn’t any unforeseen complications. It appears there aren’t. Thanks (again).
Super helpful video! Thanks! I attempted to take the upper bolt out of the end link to help give me more space to replace my CV axle and managed to slightly loosen it but couldn't get a grip on the washer to keep it from spinning. Now I know how to get it back on tight!
This can be a real PITA, the stock ends on my TRD OR truck have about 1mm wide of clearance for a vice grip to grab, on what should be a hex piece buts it's a perfect circle. New sway bar end links I bought have a fatter hex piece to grab if I ever need to change them again. The other option is to use an allen key but it's in front of the shock, so you need a small key in order for it to go in straight and a wrench. Not a good leveraged position to break the nut loose. I'm just cutting it off.
My link connects to sway bar at the top and control arm at the bottom. It has a pro comp lift. Is that okay? I don’t think I could flip it without it hitting tie rods and other stuff.

Looks like this Tacoma was pulled out of the ocean after sitting at the bottom for 20 years.
my uncle sent me this. I subscribed. good video!
Thanks for the video, this will come in handy when I replace mine tomorrow

If you have any more footage of
that bar that you took, I would love to see it as I would love to see my former Navy shipmates from 35 years ago
You started with 17 mm and finished with 18mm. Does new parts have different size bolts?
My toyota dealership recommended to replace these for $460 parts and $140 labor. LOL i think i'll do it myself for a fraction of the cost.
how important is the torqueing part for the link?
What were the issues to cause you to change these out?
It snapped
Oh wow, how did I get onto your video lol
Do you have to lift and take the wheel off to do this?
My link connects to sway bar at the top and control arm at the bottom. It has a pro comp lift. Is that okay? I don’t think I could flip it without it hitting tie rods and other stuff.
My locking pliers crushed the bushing and missed the little metal piece. What else can I do
Do you guys suggest an alignment after?
Nope. You aren't changing the geo.etry of the suspension.
As long as you’re not readjusting the tie rods you should be fine
When you install both sway bar link your toyota need alignment??
Not with sway bar work.
Ya, that bottom one would only come off with a 4” electric grinder on my truck
What do u call this plier?
That is the easy type where is the apex type?
+Amnesia Iforget We do not have a video for apex type, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
