The kingdom of death belongs to those who are put to death. The poverty of spirit which is death and darkness. The wealth of spirit which is life and light. Those who revolt the death will be saved, for they did not fear it to not overcome it. And those who believe in the cross will also be saved from death. This book presents more than one option, the church would have you be fully dependent rather than seek, find, and trust in christ. Seeking is still necessary, being fully dependent is lazy. Pray to God and you will receive much wealth in spirit. God gives spirit, light, and life. And He diminshes darkness and poverty of spirit.

There are so many great texts that were never canonized. And then Apocrypha books were later removed from most of the versions of the Bible. I'll keep trying to get stuff up on my channel. I just posted the Acts of John, and the Book of Thomas. Great books!

Interesting but if you listen to the standard book of James found in the Bible and then listen to this again I'm sure you will see that this cannot be written by the same man. This is a completely different writing style and tone.
And when the Mormons wanted to create a fake Bible they didn't write it in the style of speaking at the time, but rather wrote it in the much older style of the real Bible in an effort to give their book more "authority". Change of tone to what is spoken at the time is a huge red flag.
Stop worshipping yoir bible. Stop listening to other men about what is supposed to be in the bible. Become a child to learn the real truth.
James, the brother of John & one of the 12 apostles, & James, the Just, the brother (or half-brother or cousin) of Jesus weren't the same person. Whether James the Just actually wrote the apocrypha book of James or not is debatable just as current biblical scholarship questions whether Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John actually wrote the books bearing their names. Paul. who did indeed write most of the books that made the official New Testament canon, identifies James the Just as the head of the Jerusalem Church after the death of Jesus, so he must have come to believe that Jesus was the Messiah. However, James didn't believe that faith alone brought about salvation, for he thought that works were also necessary. ~ P.S. Tradition holds that Simon & Jude, who were also part of the ben Joseph family unit when Jesus was growing up also eventually headed the Jerusalem church, & tradition holds like their brother James, they were also martyrs, so they obviously also came to believe in the Messiahship of Jesus. Since John the Baptist was a cousin of Jesus, I'd like to suggest that not only did God chose Mary to be the Mother of Jesus, but all of Jesus's family & no doubt perhaps some of his lifelong friends became all part of God's plan to bring the Gospel to the world.

It would not be written by James the brother of Jesus but a tradition that claims to be within that line of tradition to Christ , this would have been written by later converts that claim linage to James

The Evil One must be a reference to the Devil. If so, this is not presenting an historical Jesus. At all.
And then he talks of those "who believe in my cross". If this was on Earth under Pontius Pilate it would be a matter of historical fact that's on record and not something to believe in.

Are we even certain James, let alone jesus, was literate? The vast majority of peoples living in the greater Israel /palistine / eastern Mediterranean could not read or write so these apparent letters should be considered with scepticism.

It seems in line with the gospel of John. Why is John Canon and this Secret Book of James isn't? The Canonical books were picked based on _popularity._

@@TruthLoveLight the Roman Catholic church believes in some of the apocryphas. I usually go to their comments, ask them to repent and study the real Bible, not some traditions that were invented later.
The proto evangelium gospel of James is one of the most horrible book i've ever read.
This secret book of James is also a confusing book. It mixed both lies and truth, just like the adversaries would do.
If you're wary of the truth then you should lead your viewers to the real and only truth. By saying these apocryphas as false teachings. Good knowledge but certainly lies.
