When I heard the Age of Calamity music pop up, I was just "aaahhhh... yay... :)". I love that game, and that theme is iconic to me, and I loved your version of it. Also Rito Village made it! Awesome work, you're doing amazing!
I really loved that they kind of had the "happy ending" timeline there; I swear my heart was torn in two when Mipha's father told her to promise to come home safe and I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@@AtelierMinuette AAAAAAA I KNOW I SOBBED! That’s such a good game, and getting to play as everyone was freaking amazing. Awesome addition to the series😁
The fact that not only did you make these covers, but you also made the stunning artwork in the background?!?! You deserve so much more that 439 subscribers for all the beautiful work you put in your videos!!!
I found your channel in my recommendations and I am in love with your Zelda covers, so much so that I started silently crying with a huge smile on my face. Listening to the first compilation really brought back all the nostalgic memories I had when playing the games for the first time and got me to relive how it made me feel at those moments. Each note hit me deep in my heart and soul and I could feel all the love and attention for each one. I've been looking for a Zelda compilation like this for years, and now that I have, I'm addicted! These are my go to videos to sleep to and just have as BGM now. I will definitely check out your other videos as well, but I saw you say if anyone had suggestions to comment them and I would love to see how you would make any of these: Ghost's House from Link's Awakening Lon Lon Ranch from Ocarina of Time Song of Healing or Music Box House from Majora's Mask Grandma or Aryll's Theme from Wind Waker Picori Festival from Minish Cap Ordon Village, Queen Rutela, or Fishing Hole from Twilight Princess Lumpy Pumpkin Day or Night, Island in the Sky, Dejected Groose, or Romance Theme from Skyward Sword Kass's Theme from Breath of the Wild A Quiet Moment from Age of Calamity. Keep up the beautiful work and thank you so much for your dedication, because it is truly and deeply appreciated.
Uwaaah, you're gonna make ME cry! I understand your feelings, though. I've been playing LoZ since I was about 3 or 4, and OoT especially is near and dear to my heart because it truly felt like it was my "only friend" for a long time in my childhood. My childhood life was not really good at all, but whenever I felt sad I'd escape into OoT because just 'being there' made me feel a little better. I played them regularly until right before BOTW came out (I couldn't afford the console at the time) and I wasn't able to play any of them until maybe a month before TOTK came out, and in that first scene when Link walks out on the ledge and sees Hyrule before him, I just started to bawl SOOO much, and even more so when I saw those little bits and pieces of lore or visual storytelling that gave you an echo of places or people in older games (Like Lon Lon ranch ruins, auuguh) Those games mean so much to my heart, so I definitely get it
@@AtelierMinuette I get what you mean entirely, because Zelda has also been a huge part of my life growing up too! My second older brother was the one that got me into the games, because on my 6th birthday he put OoT on the N64, sat me in his lap, gave me the controller, then walked me through the whole game. I remember being so excited about playing a video game for the first time (and not just having to sit and watch them), because I was too young to be trusted with a controller, lol. I later found out when I was much older that I'm exactly the same age as OoT's release date in Japan, and I was so happy I started crying. Despite all the games I've played though, Skyward Sword is my top pick. Wind Waker used to be me first, but the way Link was made in Skyward Sword is too much to pass up. His expressions, the way he's free to express emotions, his drive to bring Zelda home and not just because of some prophecy, and everything else is just too good. From the very first moment I played OoT to playing Echoes of Wisdom and tearing up at the ending, Zelda has a huge place in my heart, and I couldn't be happier to know there's someone else out there that is talented enough to put those emotions and feelings into art and music. I play an MMO that allows players to make music in the game, and I've made lots of songs from the Zelda series to play and share with other players as well, so I understand that it can be really time-consuming and complicated. Don't feel pressured to do any of them; those are merely suggestions. They're all relaxing and laidback songs that I feel would really sound wonderful in your style (and my personal favorites, lol), but seriously, don't feel pressured to do any of them at all. You do whatever you want to do first and foremost, because if you're having fun and enjoying yourself, then it'll come out more naturally. 🥰
@@LauraVlrs Both! I have a (somewhat ancient) Yamaha keyboard I hook up to my laptop and run different instruments through it while playing. Not right now but in the future I plan to get my grubby little hands on some different types of flutes and a decent ocarina and those will all be played analog, so just recorded and remastered with fx processing.
