There's a lot about Ngbe (Ngoe - Leopard), which the Nigerian Efiks, Ibibios, etc, call Ekpe, to know about. If you really want to know more, please go to Cameroon among the Oroko people (Balondo, Batanga, Ngolo, Balue, Bakundu, etc).
Nsibidi comes directly from the Oroko term: njibidi or njibiri, meaning "aggressive". Ukara itself may have roots in the Oroko verb "kara", meaning "to surpass".
The title Seseku derives from two Oroko words: sese (Lord) and ku (tortoise). Seseku means Wise Lord.
The female wing of the Ekpe is called "Ebongo".

This looks like a form of Sem priest of Seshat from ancient Egypt. The Freemasons also use habits from here. I think both these organizations, the Scottish rite and Ekpe, come from the same ancient secret society. Their members do the same things for the societies in which they live; Maat justice, irrigation, sanitation, healthcare, ect. The Palm Tree, the rooster (symbolic light among Scottish rite) number 7, horseshoe/chittom, the color blue/indigo are some of the things that lead me to this conclusion. Also, the usage of Knowledge is Power was used by FreeMason Sir Francis Bacon and Freemason Thomas Jefferson. You men of clothe should join together.

if Nsibidi was invented by ejagham, why is the name ukara and ekpe, ibibio in origin? the best way to control a story is to lead it, the false representation of ekpe society which has its origin in the ibibio people is hid for a reason, the controllers of our history cannot hide who the ibibio people really are, the most ancient ethnic black people in the world, they have done so for 8,000 years but it will no longer be hid for they know who they are...

Ekpe is an Efik word meaning leopard, lion, Ukara is cloth worn by Ekpe initiates, mostly title holder the Ibibio's DO NOT have Ekpe but "Ekpo Ibibio" no one should start distorting history hereally, Never heard of Ibibio being scientific black people. What is being said here is the culture of the a Efiks, Qua, Efut, Aro's, Ejagaham tribes the only people who have Ekpe in the present day Akwa Ibom are Uruan (Efik Enclave), Oron, Ibibio, a typical Ibibio man from Uyo does not have Ekpe. Am sick and tired of people posting false information over the medium.
