John Wall is no longer a young buck. The Wizards already have experienced mentors in Malcolm Brogdon and Jonas Valančiūnas, so there is no opportunity for him to fill that position, even at the vet-minimum wage. John should see the writing on his wall. He hasn't actively played for over a season. His NBA playing career has ended. He should comprehend and accept this. Making amends with the Wizards is an excellent idea. However, other than a ceremonial gesture, he won't find any bread and butter in terms of employment at the moment. If John Wall desires to remain engaged with basketball, he could consider extending his playing career in Europe for a season or two to expose himself to different playing and coaching styles before returning to work in media, coaching, or scouting.
Yes, it is time to bring John Wall back to this team team. Tell me John Wall wouldn’t help this team actually win give me a freaking break. I think John Wall if you bring them back would definitely be a mentor to the young kids and definitely could work with these young kids to get the wizards to play better.
He worked out for Cleveland last year and I always wondered if he had anything to offer. We never heard anything else after that in CLE, so I've been curious what others think about him and if he can still play. Can he still play in the NBA? On any team?
Yes, Yes and Hell Yeah. Tommy is gone and Teddy is off doing Teddy stuff... If they can have rootin-tootin Gil back making caps then certainly John deserves some grace with his new found maturity. Our young guards (including Poole) could learn so much 💪
Right now, there are 4 PGs under contract: Bub, Poole, Brogdon, and Butler. Would we sign him if he didn't play here? Would Ted put his foot down and say no?
Ted got tired of Wall’s gang sign flashing. He shot far too often. Fast guy who passed well and finished at the basket as good as any all pro point guard in the Association. Foul line pop up jump shorts were top level as well. He thought he could be James Harden on and off the court. Strip clubs and booze, Harden pulled it off for a while. John Wall just went downhill fast.
Bring back John Wall as a part of the staff, not a player on the roster. He could help with the development of our young guards but not if he’s taking up their minutes.
Nope. I'd rather enjoy the memories but come on he's old, injured and would be a distraction. This team is in full rebuild mode now and I just can't see how this would be of any benefit to the team. Let's also not forget how Leonsis ran him outta town. Bring him back to retire his jersey so this nonsense can end.
I DONT WANT ANYONE TAKING MINUTES AWAY FROM BUB.
Ridiculous from every aspect of what current rebuild plan is !
Mike, Will, and Troy Weaver are looking forward not backward. JW can be a team ambassador, but a roster spot? Hell no
Or he can intern with the coaching staff and see if he wants a full time position.
We could use huerter
Yes greetings from belgium brandon!
Favorite John Wall memory was him winning the Slam dunk contest. Bring him back.
Bring back Wall!!!
Wall as a skills coach yeah
Yup! No issue with Wall interning with the coaching staff and learning the how to’s.
Absolutely not!
Sarr is campaigning to be the next JD

Yes. Bring back John Wall. Wizards sign and trade Tyus Jones to the Pelicans after Brandon Ingram contract is moved, then a spot opens for John Wall.
Reed Shepard/Cory Kispert could've been splash brothers 2.0.
Cap
No. That ship has sailed. If Wall wants to hang it up and join as a coaching intern or specialist on Keefe’s staff, I’d welcome that.
Ready for you to come onto my podcast man!
No way he's past his prime 0:39
Maybe but he was very explosive in his prime tho😮
As a coach of FO position, but unless they're trading Brogdan right now.
#$ignJohnWall.....ayyeee B we know who's been saying this from Day 1......
We need to trade Sarr for a couple chocolate croissants.

😂
We were always Kevin Durant coming home stuck !!! Acting like he would even give us a chance
#signJohnWall
I would like to see wall back as assistant coach not as a player

Him throwing up gang signs at his age is a lil wack, tho.
Yes bring back Wall so we can increase our chances at that number one pick! Tank for Coop and Wall is the perfect trash player to make that happen :)
John Wall in no way helps the development of this roster. He's just a giant distraction.
I hear you but it would be kinda nice to see him back
@@lockedonlaw Thank you
What is wrong with you people? John Wall is done. Let's please move on.
We should move on ftom kuz also, for huerter and pick or more picks
