My EDC is a Benchmade Bugout 535, SAK's Fieldmaster and Rambler all day every day. This combination of tools and blades accomplish everything handed down daily. Great video!
The Fieldmaster was the first 91mm SAK that I bought, so I guess it sort of started my SAK collection. It's still my favorite SAK, and I carry it literally every day. When it's not in my pocket, it's in the backpack that I carry with me to work. Great review, buddy!
I bought a Fieldmaster with the Boy Scout logo on one of the scales back in the early 2000s. I had to replace the scales and put black ones on. I recently bought Huntsman and love it as much as the Fieldmaster. I actually prefer the corkscrew as I use it to untie knots. I pick up and deliver laundry and my customers love knotting the strings on the bags. Great video channel!
Big Fieldmaster fan! Carry mine every day and prefer the feel of the Phillips over the corkscrew in hand. If I carry another Victorinox it is the Farmer X with the very familiar toolset minus the back tools of course. Edit: of course I have many other models. It is a disease.
I’ve always been a knife guy but then I caught the SAK affliction. Tried to join a support group but they only encouraged me to collect more even offering up trades. 😂🤷🏻♂️. Oh well! So many toolsets and and only so much time. Love the channel, keep up the good work.
Totally an addiction, I have 10 SAKs at the moment, plus a Jetsetter (I suppose not a SAK as no knife right?). Have a Farmer X, and I'd probably opt for the Fieldmaster over the Huntsman.
I sent my Huntsman to the Assitance so they will change the corkscrew for the phillips screwdriver plus complete maintenance for a quite nice price. Nice review!
My problem is too many multi-tools to choose from. ⚠️There are tools I really like on the Leatherman 'BOND' multi-tool and there are tools on the Victorinox 'FIELDMASTER' I really like also. I appreciate the lightweight of the Victorinox for every day carry.
That's why I prefer a SAK to a regular multi-tool. Great for those on the go things you need, if I had to resort to a leatherman type I'd probably just head to the toolbox instead.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I do like the needle nose pliers on the Leatherman BOND tool, but I don't like the extra weight of all the other tools on the Leatherman. ✅ I will just buy a separate lightweight needle nose pliers and carry this with my Victorinox FIELDMASTER. Needle nose pliers are really good to use for cutting wire and for picking up things that you don't want to touch with your hands.
Good looking knife. I think I will be looking to pick one of these up, I really like my Huntsman and I think the Philips screwdriver will work better for me. Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
@@ThriftyKaniffy you know what your be perfect for me? A Deluxe tinker and next to the pliers, the Phillips and magnifying lens from the Explorer, and on the back, the corkscrew (or an Explorer with the added pliers from the deluxe tinker 😂)
This is the knife I carry every day on/as my key chain/fob.
The saw cuts PVC pipe like butter.
Fantastic, Orlos. Thanks for sharing.

Right on, the Fieldmaster does make for a really nice tool/blade set. Thank you, Jimmie.

Thanks for sharing, David. It's got a fantastic toolset, I can see why you like it so much.

Yes, the corkscrew works great for that purpose. It sounds like the Huntsman would be a great choice for what you need. Thanks for watching, Ralph.

Mike, I've fully gotten the SAK disease. I love having so many options with these. I never thought I would have so many in the beginning.

Great tool set on that one. Another great video!
I agree, 4 layers of goodness. Thanks for having a look, Jack.
One of the more useful models imo
I think so too, Terrill. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the info, Drummer.
I have a Huntsman which I love ! Great Video thanks for sharing !
The Huntsman is great, too. Thanks for the comment, Sal.
Well done. One of the better videos of this type. I have a couple of Fieldmaster SAKs. Great tool.
Much appreciated. Thanks for the compliment. The Fieldmaster is a great 4 layer. Probably my favorite. Have a great day, Raymond.
Great vest or jacket carry. Super SAK Saturday!
True that. Thanks for taking a look, Rick
Lemme tell y'all bout disco balls🪩🪩! Awesome review John it's hard for me to pick between the huntsman and fieldmaster
It's a tough choice if you begin finding more uses for the corkscrew.
always enjoy the SAKs
A great 4 layer design. I prefer this to the Hunstman, but this is just a bit pricier and not quite the value. Thanks, Kathleen.
U looked at the Fieldmaster but couldn't see the ysefulness of rhe saw. I chose the Explorer and couldn't be more pleased.
Awesome that you found one you like. That's the fun in Victorinox knives, lots of options.

Those were my thoughts as well after getting the Huntsman. There's lots to like about the Fieldmaster. Thanks, Stan.
Another nice Victorinox! It'd be hard to not get the large SAKs if they didn't have a pair of scissors. Great video TK!
Thanks for having a look, Randy. The Fieldmaster has a really good set of options.
Still find more use in the deluxe tinker
The Super Tinker is an excellent option.

Great review 😊
Thanks for watching, Rasputin.
have you changed cameras this looks like technicolor
I have. Is that good or bad? There's an adjustment period for me until I can get the lighting just right. Thanks, Hawkbill.
Far as I am concerned it's not a SAK without a corkscrew.lol. Beaide, that's a horrible spot to put a screw driver.
Good thing there's plenty of corkscrew options available. Thanks, Glock.
Is there a hole for a pin 📍 to slide in between the scale and frame
Most newest versions have the hole, just depends on how recently it was made. Thanks, Snot.
