After a bit of practice I found that Lucario can do it, the timing of the jump needs to be perfect though and he does need some aura when he gets to the projectile levers part, but using force palm he can hit the switch. Obligatory "Hero can theoretically do it by getting hocus pocus invincibility and hitting the Thundaga switch through the wall". I haven't tested this one and I doubt I will because it's still almost impossible to get Hocus Pocus invincibility anyways, although only having to get it once does make it a lot easier. This one is one of the ones I think Hero could actually do if you tried hard enough, but the switch might still not be possible to hit. Will edit if i end up testing later.
Even better, make it a challenge that Trainer and the Aegis can only do by switching and working together, and that no single character can do on their own.

It's just a theory but inkling might be able to make it if you throw the bomb a certain way so it only hits one, but it would require insane precision and timing. Luigi might be able to get farther than he did in this video using a misfire but because he has a different fireball than Mario he can't beat it

It would take an insane amount of rng, but I’m fairly certain hero could do it. You acceleratle fair through the blocks, like you did in the video. Then you sit and wait for hocus pocus until it makes you mini, and then you get acceleratle again to go through the wind. Being mini, I did test and you can make it through the hole. After that you zoom into the portal and then magic burst the switch. If someone has a day to throw away, please give this a try.
I would say Inkling has the best chance to debunk this simply because better placement of the explosive could have it go off where only the 1 switch is in the blast radius.
so unless hitting your head on the lava after going through the first portal counts as a fail, then hero is able to do it. after you run through the wind with accelerate you can spend 30 minutes using hocus pocus until you shrink then drop through without getting hit, you can then use zoom to go through the portal than use magic burst to hit the lever. You might be able to get the invincibility to go through the portal and not get hit if you spend long enough at it though.
Getting small or Invincibility with Hero's Hocus Pocus and then using Zapple at the end might get Hero through. Edit: If you use Magic burst after getting through the small gap at the beginning it will hit the 'Sora' switch then you can go through the 'Sora' tunnel by using Hocus Pocus and getting invincibility, once you have done that go to the spot where you have to jump to the portal, use Hocus Pocus and get the Super Mushroom result then jump up as high as possible and use Kaswoosh at the same time that you shrink back to normal size giving you enough height to get to the portal (using Zoom just throws into the lava at the other side), finally you just jump into the final portal to end thanks to using magic burst earlier and Hero has made it to the end. I finally did this but it was on the stage builder test mode so I couldn't save the replay and wasn't recording because I don't have anything to record well with and the fact that I had to restart the test mode many times due to luck not being on my side. I believe one of the hardest challenge in this format would be to make a stage only the statistically least successful and the most successful character in your challenges could pass. Doesn't even sounds possible to me, to be honest.
We should see "Charizard and Incineroar". Both are fully evolved Fire starters, and at the time of Ultimate's release, would be a similar combination of first and last (Gen 8 was released after Ultimate, so Incineroar was the last Fire starter at the time) One with all three of the Links would probably be easy, but I'm pretty sure Sheik and Zelda are different enough for it to work. Maybe Piranha Plant and Min Min; Both started off the DLC packs for Ultimate.
I have an idea but i am nowhere good enough to try it: squirtle MAY be able to pass through the projectile section with an airdodge, use side B and bounce on the lever, then recover with double jump and another eirdodge. i have no way near the skills necessary to try this but maybe there's someone who can. also kirby may also be able to fit in with an airdodge, if we can bring it to that section we may be able to use down b to activate the lever without taking damage.

So for a one and only that’s probably gonna be pretty easy is a Byleth one. Their up b has the unique property of being able to grab the sides of walls, so you could make a portion where Byleth grabs the side of a nonlegdegrabable wall and grabs a ledge above them with their tether. Maybe even add a couple switches that need to be shot with Failnaught or hit through a wall with forward smash? They also have down b which hits under a ledge if it doesn’t hit ground. Byleth’s kit is just to perfect for this not to make imo.
Zelda and Sheik two and only. They used to be the same character, so it would be pretty neat. Also maybe do Falco and Captain Falcon? They have very different strengths and weaknesses, it would be cool to see if it was even possible
Prowder, would you be willing to make a course that only Byleth and Mr. Game and Watch can complete? They are the newest and oldest characters ranked by official release date.
I want to see a Mario and Kirby challenge. They were the 'standoff' characters in the first Smash, then at the start of Subspace Emissary, and in World of Light Mario is the first character unlocked along with the starting Kirby. So there's a connection there. There's also the association with stars between the two.
You should do the true first and last characters! Kirby and Sora. Kirby is Sakurai's baby, so he was definitely the first character that Sakurai would've planned for.
You should make a challenge where only the characters that game out in the same game can make it, like only the Melee characters. Don’t really care which game you do first.
How about a stage that only the Miis can pass? Like Mii Brawler, Swordfighter and Gunner can all make it, but no one else can. Also as a challenge you have to use their default movesets.
I'd like to see a two and only for Cloud and either any of the Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon, Hero or Sephiroth. I'd also like to see a One and Only for the Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon, and either a One and Only for Cloud or a stage that only Cloud cannot do. Basically, I just want representation for Pokémon Trainer and Cloud. Challenges focusing on Ike, Luigi, Hero and Sephiroth would also be nice to see in general. Love, someone who likes all of those characters, and someone who has the Pokémon Trainer (specifically the male one, specifically his counterpart in the Pokémon games) as their favorite character in any fictional media.
It seems like it’d be nearly impossible but making a challenge only pokemon could beat would be really cool. If not a similar idea would be a Pokémon trainer challenge where only they can beat it but you could beat it as any of their Pokémon without swapping. That’s not technically multiple characters but it effectively would be.
Steve can up b through the sonic blade tunnel, but can't get TNT close enough to either lever in the very last section, even if he manages to hit it into the gap. There might be some jank possible with the way the stage treats rectangles, but i doubt it's useful. Young link can probably get a boomerang to hit the thundaga lever from the starting area.
Do a challenge that Pichu can do but Pichu can't or the other way around. Also, Ido a challenge that the Mii's can do but the others can't. That could be interesting because you can change their moveset.
Pretty sure Peach and Daisy can do it if you damage yourself with bombs to reach the portal, then throw a turnip at the switch, but getting the bombs is gonna take forever.
Idea for a (kinda) two and only: Exalt Family! Chrom, Lucina... And Marth. Marth and Lucina are essentially the same character in challenges though, so even though it's a Three and Only, the workload is still just two characters.
It would be cool if you made a video like this but with totally opposite characters, like little mac with his bad recovery and zss with his excellent recovery. great video!

I tested it, and can safely say that it is possible.

I want to see a Mario and Kirby challenge.
They were the 'standoff' characters in the first Smash, then at the start of Subspace Emissary, and in World of Light Mario is the first character unlocked along with the starting Kirby.
So there's a connection there. There's also the association with stars between the two.

You should do the true first and last characters! Kirby and Sora. Kirby is Sakurai's baby, so he was definitely the first character that Sakurai would've planned for.

You should make a challenge where only the characters that game out in the same game can make it, like only the Melee characters. Don’t really care which game you do first.

How about a stage that only the Miis can pass? Like Mii Brawler, Swordfighter and Gunner can all make it, but no one else can. Also as a challenge you have to use their default movesets.
I'd like to see a two and only for Cloud and either any of the Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon, Hero or Sephiroth. I'd also like to see a One and Only for the Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon, and either a One and Only for Cloud or a stage that only Cloud cannot do. Basically, I just want representation for Pokémon Trainer and Cloud. Challenges focusing on Ike, Luigi, Hero and Sephiroth would also be nice to see in general.
Love, someone who likes all of those characters, and someone who has the Pokémon Trainer (specifically the male one, specifically his counterpart in the Pokémon games) as their favorite character in any fictional media.

Here’s an idea: 2 and only, but a “can’t” version. A stage everyone can beat, except Mario and Sora.
It seems like it’d be nearly impossible but making a challenge only pokemon could beat would be really cool. If not a similar idea would be a Pokémon trainer challenge where only they can beat it but you could beat it as any of their Pokémon without swapping. That’s not technically multiple characters but it effectively would be.

Steve can up b through the sonic blade tunnel, but can't get TNT close enough to either lever in the very last section, even if he manages to hit it into the gap. There might be some jank possible with the way the stage treats rectangles, but i doubt it's useful. Young link can probably get a boomerang to hit the thundaga lever from the starting area.
well just tried it after learning that going from terrain to lava doesn't break the minecart immediately for some reason, it didn't work.

Do a challenge that Pichu can do but Pichu can't or the other way around. Also, Ido a challenge that the Mii's can do but the others can't. That could be interesting because you can change their moveset.
Pretty sure Peach and Daisy can do it if you damage yourself with bombs to reach the portal, then throw a turnip at the switch, but getting the bombs is gonna take forever.

Idea for a (kinda) two and only: Exalt Family! Chrom, Lucina... And Marth. Marth and Lucina are essentially the same character in challenges though, so even though it's a Three and Only, the workload is still just two characters.
True fans know that the first ’Two and Only’ was for Ganondorf and Incineroar.
