I feel as though gosho downplay on gin cuz he was getting outsmarted and getting a lot of his deductions from rum

For me, Gin and Akai IQ quite similiar. Heiji, Shinichi and Kaito quite similar too. Vermouth should be low than Akai.

Gin And Akai are maybe on the same level but Akai would be higher by a few points. Shinichi is smarter than Heiji and Kaito cause Bourbon said that conan is scarier than him. Conan also came up with the plan when akai disguised himself up as I forgot who. it was all conan. I just hate vermouth

Among the best episodes detective conan 394,395 n 396(Big Adventure in the Eccentric Mantion) here kaito kid has solved the treasure search code before shinichi..the storyline from beginning to end is very interesting to me^^.
Ofc he would he was there before kudo came so it is obvious he didn't want anyone to solve the code and flood the place so he stayed down trying to make them leave

Why Heizo (Heiji's father) was lower than his son, heiji, eri even sera? I think he should be on higher place
A lot ppl are just trashing Vermouth rn, she figured out Conan was Shinishi simply because he was acting unlike any other kid on the bus hijacking episode, she had a huge suspicion although she was pretty sure she traced back Shinishi disappearance and Kogoro suddenly becoming a great detective and Conan showing up and came to the right conclusion that Shinishi is Conan solving the cases for Kogoro. She also has many skills including being a great shooter, she shot the gas tank to blow up the car at the docks in a Duel Mystery on a Full Moon night. She shot it from 100+ yards away in a moving car simply through looking in the mirror. If that’s not great shooting idk what is. She is ofc also a master of disguise who can change her appearance and voice very easily in the Jet Black Train episode(s) when she and Yukiko faced off when Conan called her she immediately copied Yukikos voice.
She also predicted that Conan would go to the Halloween party on the ship, if Conan was still Shinishi he definitely would’ve gone instead of sending Heiji. Meaning she can also predict the moves of others and what they’re gonna do.
She overall I think deserves to be in the top 10 at least.
It's okay and all but she can't compete against heiji, heizo, shinichi, yusaku, gin, burbon, shuichi, shūkichi, rum or morofoshi tak'kai
So she's definitely not top 10

You're wrong! vermouth knew immediately that conan is shinichi when they were in the Heido hotel, she did see him and it didn't appear in the manga sadly but the prove that she know was when she was having a conversation with gin and vodka later on that case in the car she said that she got something on her mind, and because basically she knew about the b.o project and the effects of the drugs, but I agree with everything you said later😅

Uhh I don't think you can estimate precise IQ scores just from the manga/anime. But I think the smartest characters in DC are Shuichi, Gin, Vermouth, Shinichi, Kaito Kid, and Yusaku. Shuichi and Shinichi especially are on the same wavelength in many situations. Rei is almost up there, but I think he's fooled more often because his anger and eagerness cause him to miscalculate or misinterpret things, which can kinda apply to all DC characters. Also I have a feeling that Mary Sera will turn out to be god tier.
Actually it was stated that the most intelligent characters are Shinichi's and Heiji's father !

Hattori Heizou is considered one of the smartest characters in the series, far smarter than his son Heiji, probably around Yusaku's level.
Shukichi is probably a little bit smarter than Shuichi.
Also how are Amuro and Shuichi at like 150 when Shinichi's at 204-

I like that you've attempted to lay out a list for DC characters, I've seen a general anime list, but this is the first exclusive DC list I've seen. I've actually wondered a lot about how the characters line up against each other...Haneda is way smarter than Sera though, since he's the one she goes to, to check her deductions. He's like her Mycroft. Mycroft was much better than Holmes at deductions, and sometimes, Holmes would have Mycroft check his deductions. Even with Conan around, Conan has acknowledged Haneda's superior deduction skills.
I remember in Kaito Kid, Hakuba's analysis of Kid says that he has an IQ of 400, which means Conan would have to be around the same intelligence...poor Kogoro wasn't even on the list 😭 😭😂😂...Toichi should be around Yusaku's IQ level. It's like an unspoken rule in DC that the father's are much more intelligent than their sons.
Up to 130 you're a gifted person, someone who's smart but also super emotional, super empathetic, who have deep existencial crisis, incredible imagination, a huge sense of justice...
Only 5% - 10% of the population can be gifteds, so it's imposible that the most of the characters (who, funny thing, live in the same part of the city) of the show are gifted.
The most of the characters don't look like that XD specially the Black Guys.

Toichi Kuroba is Kaito Kid's father, Yusako Kudo is shinichi's father, that's how genes work kid.
Haibara's father are both scientists, she went as a kid to study in america and lots of other things that give her this high intelligence.
Akai and bourbon are FBI and japanese something agents, so they need to be smart.

Eri should definitely not be so high. Sera solves cases with the help of her mom and her brother. Gin is more smarter than Vermouth. Hattori's father and shukichi should be higher on that list. Even Hattori should be higher on that list and kaito is definitely not smarter than Shinichi
I think Shukichi should rank higher than Sera tho. There is once he helped Sera through phone only... Plus, there is one time he solve a case faster than Shinichi. I would say he might be higher than Shinichi bcs he is the type to plan as a whole which is very hard. (Well it is actually so hard to determine it hahahaha) And to say Kid is smarter than his father is a bit... Since his father fight with Yusaku and never get caught. (Edit: this is battle of experience tho hahahaaha).

Heiji higher than his dad? He and his dad way too low. Both not the smartest but should be higher in the area of shinichi not over but around there. Heiji isn’t much less smart of shinichi both around the same but I’d still say heiji is less because he’s never shown to be more than shinichi.And sera over her brother. There are other problems but whatever it’s just a list. I don’t think it’s very accurate but still you tried. Haibara as a scientist she is amazing but still way too high. Vermouth over gin what.
IQ of 200 is impossible if you use SD15 (max 194) and it also wouldn't make sense since the gap between him and other characters isn't that high.
Agasa and Haibara definitely top the chart as well.

Hahahaha I sometimes think Mouri Kogoro has an influence on Kudo Schinichi. How Schinichi has an ability on detecting many cases easily unlike Mouri Kogoro. Which makes Kogoro mad/jealous at Schinichi at almost all times. In addition, he can not even tell who Kaito Kid is when Kid is in disguise unlike Conan. So, I would say he would go below Eri.

his father demonstrates much more developed deduction skills + taught Shinichi pretty much everything he knows - police procedures, gun handling, boat driving etc. it makes sense that currently he outranks shinichi

14. James Black : he can recognize the fake policemen just by hearing their words and he knew the plan of Akai's fake death just by looking at Akai's hands

When shukichi was looking for yumi the one who solved the code was conan, to collect the APTX list you don't need intelligence dude I only watched the anime idk if it reveals who Rumi wakasa is but no, she gave hints in the first appearance because she investigated there before conan, well for the rest it's true

200 IQ people learn advanced maths at the age of 8, the most inteligent people in this list should be like 140-150, and those rated with 160 be the 110-120.

Eri is indeed a bit smarter than Hattori, even tho Hattori has way better deduction due to his raise from his father who works at Osaka Police. I think Vermouth and Akai are pretty even so if you want to swap those to that is fine :)

True for the part that he is intelligent than most people in the organization and doesn't care about Conan, but if he is really that smart he should know already what to beware of and careful in even if it's small thing after all and he didn't. Also, it's wasn't just for Conan's part. It was also Sherry's part. He still can't figure out. Also, in order for you to outsmart someone you have to be smarter to do so and the reason why this character look so smart is that the situation suits him, he got high eq and know what to do in the situations.
Logically kudo's iq increases by decrease in his age at age of 17 his iq is 204 so at age of 07 his iq by same mental age will be 500(approx)

thats cap, conan has an iq of 300 or 400, conans father idk but he has an iq higher than conan, and kaito kids iq is 400 (thats what google says, and what most people say)
