    Thanks for this video. I tried frying my puff puff but it turned out hard and cracky. It did not turn golden brown but white/ light cream. I had to throw it all away. I used a stainless steel shallow sauce pan, sunflower oil, plain flour and yeast. Though i mixed the yeast first before pouring it into the mixture. I left it to raise for close to four hours wrapped in cling film and covered with a cloth. I also hid it in the cupboard. I plan to repeat it but with the right steps/process. T What did I do wrong? Thank you!

    Thank you so much for this video. I usually get big holes in my puffpuff, Do you deflate the puffpuff before frying?

    • @fingerchops
      @fingerchops  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you can deflate before frying and you can fry without deflating it. Probably your yeast is too much, that might be responsible for the holes in it but we won't know unless we have the procedure you use in making your puff puff.

      You did not mention the amount of warm water that was added. Judging from the recipe, the amount of yeast is too much for 250g (2 cups) flour. Try adding 2 tsp dry yeast and see what happens.
