Your plushies are cute, and as far as “deals” go, do what feels right to you. I’ve taken less for an item before just because I love the smiles on the face of the children afterwards. That’s what makes it worth it to me. Your set up was great, not over crowded and very inviting. I wish you luck on all of your future markets❤
thank you! and yes the smiles are the best part 🩷🩷
Wait youre a mom? That is so inspiring! I have a baby too and i crochet during his sleep time, at the car on my way to anywhere, at work during lunch break etc. When people ask why do you crochet all the time i say its better than excessive screen time. Eeeps!
yessss love to see more crochet mamas 💓
Omigosh I am so glad your video came up on my home page! I’m in awe of how many items you made and everything looks so good! Your baby is so precious! I’m jealous of the dark pink Bernat, I’ve never seen that color in person. I love that you painted the stand, everything looks so colorful yet cohesive. And YESSS thrifting! I wouldn’t have been able to say no to the dad either, I don’t think shopper realize how inconsiderate it is to ask for a discount on a handmade item. I’m glad you guys were okay with the tornados!
Girl, I totally relate to mommy brain, if you’ve seen my videos you know about my bouquet bags!! I don’t have any helpful advice for you 😂😂😂 but hopefully we can grow together and learn how to do this successfully. So proud of you, thank you for posting ❤
hahaha yes all of this is definitely a learning experience! cheers to growing and having fun with our crochet ! ☺️
My mom does craft shows, basically markets, and I see that there’s a ton of stuff others sell. If you have someone with you, go let them advertise for you, just make a sign, and make them stand with the sign in the middle of everything (not whenever you get finished setting up, they may get hit by a car 😔) but about an hour into it. Go to markets frequently, you may run into people that watch your videos if you’re a TH-camr, you may run into people that previously purchased from you. It’s fun to go to shows, but when they’re in the summer, that really sucks 😭
Great variety of super cute plushies! Keep up the good work 👍🏻
thank you so much ! 💓
LOVE your work! Great Setup💕
thank you ! 💓💓
enjoyable video! cant wait to see more
omggg thank you for your feedback i appreciate it 💓🩷

@@LeXi_1273 aw thank you and just keep practicing you will get better !
I’m doing my first market next weekend! I loved watching how yours went. ☺️
thank you and i wish you luck i bet your booth is gonna be a show stopper 💓
Super cute stuffies! ❤️ and great job with the video!
thank you so much 💓
Love the kirby plush on a star! I love Kirby! Congrats with your first market experience!
Great job. 💕💕
thank you 🎀
Your editing is so good! Also your setup looked great 🥰
My advice is don’t give up on it. You win some & you lose some with markets because they’re always a gamble. I had one market where you could just tell people felt some kind of way about the prices and then half way through I had ONE person buy ALL of my big items. Don’t sell yourself short, your art is wonderful & you deserve to be paid what it’s worth.
Glad to have found your channel! I’ll be following along 🥰💚
Loved it! I have my first market on June 23rd I’m super excited 😆
good luck i'm sure you're booth is gonna be amazing ! 💓
I just watched your video. You actually did great with your sales. It is money you didn't have when you set up. Good job
thank you 💓☺️
Love all of your crochet goodies!!! And I totally relate to the toddler crochet life 😅 it's a grind! But I think you're doing amazing!! Great inspiration 🥰
thank you so much !😁🩷
Thank you for making this video! I love how down to earth you are and best wishes for your business
thank you for your kind words 💖
Your plushies are so cute omg!
thank you so much !! 😭
Hello!! Fellow crocheter here! I’ve been watching a lot of market videos even though I’ve never done a market and don’t even sell my crochet hahaha
I’m glad you made back your booth fee. I’m sure the next one will be even better. Great job! 🫶🏽
Have a market prep checklist it helps xx
thank you 😆
All your makes are super cute and your setup looked great! Congratulations on your first market!🎉❤🎉
When you said you live in NWA my ears perked up lol. I live in Fayetteville! I've been thinking about doing markets recently so I found your video.
yay another fellow fayetteville crafter ! yes you should definitely try out a market ! there's a facebook page called "nwa craft vendors wanted" if you're not already a part of it you should join it and see what events work best for you! best of wishes 💓
@@xochitlmochicrochet Thank you so much! I'll definitely check it out.
Hi from England 🏴 , ur 1st is always scary and you will find what sells and don’t sell as each market is different , keep ur booth simple and prices clear , we always stay till the end unless told otherwise as you can make more sales and if people pack up before the time the event loses customers as they see a time it’s set to end and if stalls are gone or packing away they may not come in or come back and everyone looses out xx
Good luck for ur next one , I personally love doing them and school events are so much fun and sell loads more too xx💕
thank you so much for your kind words and i'm glad you also have fun doing them ! 💓😁
your plushies are so cute
thank you 💓
Hello glad i found other youtuber from Arkansas. I'm from Alma
so cool i love meeting other arkansans 😊❤️
A little tip from someone who a) does long distance running and b) overheats quite easily, for outdoor events invest in a neck fans while it's not the most powerful thing to keep you cool, at least it's to have some air flowing instead of stagnant. Also, I personally, like to use Skratch electrolyte powders (they have caffeinated versions if you're into that too) but this way you get in those electrolytes! Finally, if all else fails, invest in single use ice packs used in emergencies (are these the most eco-friendly, no but I'd rather not pass out than anything else). Hope these help!
omg thank you for this i'm def gonna look into a neck fan and electrolyte powers for my next event !
Great video and your items are adorable !! All markets are so different and you just never know. I have done about 5-6 now and the first one is definitely the most work because you have to invest in your set up and figure out your layout, but it gets easier each time. Looking forward to future videos ! ❤
yes i definitely agree and im not discouraged and am looking forward to many more markets 💓
I am just starting my crochet journey and I love watching these videos. I don’t have plans on selling at markets, so I live vicariously through these videos 😂 can you do a “how many crochet plushies can I make before my baby wakes up from a nap” video? I feel like that would be fun and different!
oooh that's a good idea and i'm up for the challenge 😅😏
I’m doing my first market in June!
omgg good luck!!
I am also a toddler mom and I basically only crochet while she is sleeping! It definitely limits how much you can make
i totally agree that's why i'm glad i had a couple months to prepare it really helped me build a little "inventory" 😄
Lol Never ask a guy! Awesome job!
How long did it take to make all your plushies
about 2 months 😁
What's the inspiration behind the channel name? 😊
it's actually my daughters name xochitl (pronounced so-chee) it's an aztec word meaning flower 🌸 it's unique and i'm proud of my culture so i decided to name my channel / shop that 😊
@@xochitlmochicrochet that's so beautiful ❤️❤️ love that!!
Excellent video and well done on your market 🎉 you have inspired me to get my TH-cam channel up and running ❤ I’ve followed your instagram too ☺️
