This is my job. When I prepare a body for their final journey I always talk to them, use their first name and tell them about my day. I know they can’t talk back but it gives it that personal touch. It’s somebody’s loved one. This lady is a true professional.
My husband and 9 year old daughter were killed in a car crash in 1999. My 14 year old son survived it. I know the injuries were bad. I was afraid of how they would be handled, but I got a feeling from the funeral director and his wife, that they took extra care with my daughter. Maybe realizing my focus would be more on her, they cared about my feelings. Even asked if I was ok with things. Was there anything I wanted different? They were so kind at a time when I needed the kindness.
Thats so very sad 😢 We both send you our deepest condolences 🌹🌹 Glad the funeral home help to care for your family in a caring, compassionate and respectful way. Take good care 💚💚

My daughter is a hospice nurse and I don’t know how she deals with death every day. I just can’t imagine having that weight on you. I appreciate that Tracey treats each person with respect. I also recognize that you answer each comment in some way. I notice other channels do not. In the USA I think some things may be done differently. Almost all are embalmed I think unless the family request otherwise. Thank you for these helpful videos.
Hi, thank you for watching and your comments 😊 Yes the USA do seem to embalm nearly everyone and things are so different. Here in Queensland Australia we hardly embalm at all, really no need to. Only need to if family requests, going into an above ground vault, been flown to another country, going home for a few days or cultural reasons. We do and try to answer every one who comments good or bad 😉 so you know we read all comments and take on the feed back. It's like having lots of friends around the world 🌍 like pen pals 🙂 take good care ❤️❤️
My 8 year old nephew was one of the 3 boys murdered in West Memphis Arkansas on May 5,1993. I saw the crime scene photos and I was so worried about how he was going to look. The funeral home did an amazing job with him. They also took amazing care of my brother and my parents. Thank you all for the work you do in making it a little easier when we see the care our loved ones received. God Bless you all ❤
My Mum passed away over a month ago and watching this shows the level of care and respect morticians have when preparing our loved ones. It's comforting in a way ❤
I was married to a motician for years. But when my adult daughter died, everything I knew went out the window. I lived in another State and it took me several days to get a fllight out. I called the mortuary every day to let them know that she was loved and I was trying to get there. They were amazing and very understanding. To this day, I remeber them for showing so much compassion other than the funeral home. Thank you for what you do and taking care of our loved ones.
So very sorry to hear 😞 sending you our deepest condolences 🌹 So glad to hear the funeral home took very good care of your daughter. Be kind to yourself 💜🩷
These is not normal 😮 no one in this industry video tapes and show to the public behind the scenes. So that being said this is the only mortuary in the USA who videotapes there work . I know now this is a wonderful mortuary and wish I could be laid to rest by the Best ❤. Great work and it is amazing that you have absolutely nothing to hind its mind blowing. Thanks for what y’all do 😊.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏 Nothing should be hidden away after all we are only the caretakers of others loved ones it's their right to know what happened to them ❤️ We are in Queensland Australia 🦘 take care 🤗💚💚
I grew up in a funeral home. My uncle was a pathologist, and the mortician for our town. I loved living at the funeral home. He taught me so much from a young girl. Like appreciating the life we have because it's really a very short time we have here. And to respect the deceased and treat them well regardless. I learned over those years to appreciate our morticians and pathologist's They are the very last person that will see us all in our last vernerable state. God Bless you and im glad i found your channel
I do call in help if I think I will struggle. But I am very strong and have lots of little techniques I have mastered over the year were I hardly need strength just little clever movement. I do have a body lifter that can be used to help dress as well as placing the body in the coffin or casket. 🤗💚💚
i am very fascinated on how preparing the body is well cared for…..lost my mother back in may and the funeral home back in Mexico did a great job on having her body ready for the funeral
Very respectful of the person that is deceased..I hope all mortuaries follow how this was done..Thanks for your caring. I have lost a son and grandson and would have stayed with them until the burial if it was allowed.
Hi Tracy! Happy Labor Day weekend to you and your family! I wanted to ask, could you please do a video on what happens from the moment of death to burial for someone wanting a "natural burial"? If someone passes at home, what are the steps? And if they pass at a hospital or hospice center, what happens? Im seriously considering the natural burial and would like to know exactly what the process is before i commit to purchasing my final resting place. Thank you!! ~Christy
Hi the video out to more is on a natural burial I did a few weeks ago. Basically you would be taken into care have no chemicals used on you would be placed into a natural shroud. Hope the video tomorrow helps ☺️💚💚
She is a total doll, giving those who pass a respectable goodbye, some may come for a curious look at death but stay because of the selfless compassion someone like this shows, a well payed job sure, but one not long of list for lasting applicants, bless you.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏 but it's really not a well paired job here in Australia. I do it to help other through similar trauma I suffered when my mum was killed 😔 Take care 😊💚
I wish this channel would show the whole process of disinfecting, washing, embalming, dressing and cosmetizing the decedents. It would be very educational for those who are considering going into the mortuary field. I'm sure some of the descendant's family would agree to it, if they were just asked for their permission. I've even seen full autopsy videos here on TH-cam that were completely unedited and they were fascinating to watch.
Hiya, thanks for your comment. 🙂 We understand exactly what you mean but at the point they come to us most people are grieving and it would be highly unprofessional for us to ask if we could please feature their deceased mother, brother, child in a youtube video available on the internet for anyone to see. It's great if others can show this because it is fascinating, but it's not something we are comfortable doing.
As a nurse, I got to stand in on an autopsy. It eas the most interesting thing! The face was covered and I didn't forget she was a person. Autopsy I think, is the way to anatomy. Books just don't do it.
I had an interview at a A&E department one of the questions was what would you do if one of the members of your family came into the department requiring life saving interventions after a major life threatening episode, the following day i was still in shock and speechless having politely thanked the panel for their unbelievably truthful and honest question and left the premises in shock not being unable to continue the interview realising the inevitable could actually occur on my watch
Wow, thought gloomy but at the same time, nice and impressive work, and love how Tracy and the other staff handle the decedents with care and respect. We should all watch this to remind ourselves that death is part of life, and we are all going to be in that stretcher being care for like that someday.
I worked in a restaurant hone in 1975. I saw a lot of tragic deaths. People who were left by loved ones or not, they still ended their lives there. My story will continue if you're interested .
I watched another video that had been streamed live and one of the questions had been about how did they handle the remains of babies and children. They person on screen said that they didn't like to put the little ones in the cooler by themselves. They put the babies in the arms of one of the adults so that it would be held and the little children were placed so they were snuggled or hugged. I thought that was so precious....Being hugged until the very last.
Yes I think most of us Morticians do that. I talked about that very thing in a video a while ago that we did on children and babies. It's hard for us to put babies onto a large tray in the cold room on their own it's just not right. I always place them with an adult it's seems the right thing to do 🤗❤️❤️
I'm so sorry Rebecca for your unimaginable loss. I can only wish that everyday of the rest of your life is pleasant and rewarding you've suffered enough for several lifetimes. God bless you.
This is a video with maybe not the best or happiest subject matter, but it makes me feel a helluva lot better knowing that my father, who passed away six years ago at home was handled with dignity and respect. Thank you to all the professionals that helped both my step mum and myself navigate an already solemn occassion and never treated us as a number but with compassion and kindness.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your father 😔 sending you our deepest condolences ❤️ And thank you for your kind words means a lot 🙏🏻 take good care ❤️❤️
What a Waste of time. Thought they were going to show what happens during wash, prep etc...Not wrapping & unwrapping plastic. Long walk off a short pier.
I don't know why but why is this so cool too watch and learn from? And so peaceful, like it used too scared the crap out of me and now I'm learning about it more, it's really hostly not even so bad, hostly so amazing too watch and try too understand what they do, how too do things, how they do it, idk it's really really awesome
I so wanted to be an embalmer or funeral director! Was jus too expensive of a schooling ! Also, I realized there wil be babies and children , and I just couldnt do that without breaking down . So I became a medical assistant! She does this what such grace and kindness towards the deceased … ❤ 🙏🏼

God Bless you all ❤
Oh no that's such a sad story 😞 so very sorry, sending hugs ❤️❤️
@@Areyoudyingtoknow Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏻

@@sheilamuse4560Hello Dear
How are you doing today?
You do an amazing job, thankyou for sharing x
You are so 🤗💚💚
My Mum passed away over a month ago and watching this shows the level of care and respect morticians have when preparing our loved ones. It's comforting in a way ❤
So very sorry to hear 😔 sending you our deepest condolences. Take good care of yourself ❤️❤️
Thank you for letting us know what is waiting for us!
🤗💚💚
I was married to a motician for years. But when my adult daughter died, everything I knew went out the window. I lived in another State and it took me several days to get a fllight out. I called the mortuary every day to let them know that she was loved and I was trying to get there. They were amazing and very understanding. To this day, I remeber them for showing so much compassion other than the funeral home. Thank you for what you do and taking care of our loved ones.
So very sorry to hear 😞 sending you our deepest condolences 🌹
So glad to hear the funeral home took very good care of your daughter. Be kind to yourself 💜🩷
Wonderful video Tracy nothing but respect for u I love that u help people in their time of need ❤❤
Thank you so much 🙏💚💚
Yeah big respect to you guys. Yous are brave to work in this field something I can't do
Thank you 🩷🩷
These is not normal 😮 no one in this industry video tapes and show to the public behind the scenes.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏 Nothing should be hidden away after all we are only the caretakers of others loved ones it's their right to know what happened to them ❤️
We are in Queensland Australia 🦘 take care 🤗💚💚
To whoever will one day take care of me. I say many many thank you. You really are amazing. Till we all meet again.

Beautifully and very respectfully done. 🖤
Thank you so much Missy 💚💚
I grew up in a funeral home. My uncle was a pathologist, and the mortician for our town. I loved living at the funeral home. He taught me so much from a young girl. Like appreciating the life we have because it's really a very short time we have here. And to respect the deceased and treat them well regardless. I learned over those years to appreciate our morticians and pathologist's They are the very last person that will see us all in our last vernerable state. God Bless you and im glad i found your channel
Thank you so much for your kind words and support ❤️❤️
Gee Tracy i never knew that sometimes you would have to handle bodies twice your size , by yourself, and you are so petite yourself. Well done.
So very sorry to hear you have lost your mother recently 😔 sending you our deepest condolences 🌹🩷🩷

No problems Anne 🥰💚

Thank you! It's a beautiful video!
Thank you very much! 🤗💚💚
Very respectful of the person that is deceased..I hope all mortuaries follow how this was done..Thanks for your caring. I have lost a son and grandson and would have stayed with them until the burial if it was allowed.
We are so very sorry to hear 😞 sending all our best to you 🙏 pleased take good care 💚💚
@@Areyoudyingtoknow thank you so very much!!
I do it to help other through similar trauma I suffered when my mum was killed 😔
Take care 😊💚
You have a job few want and you do it with kindness and respect! ❤
You are so kind, 🤗💚
I wonder what she would do if that body starts moving around and talking to her. 😂😂
I would say wow we have a live one 😉❤️
Yes that would be so confronting 🥺 certainly not a job for us either, theses doctors and nurses are worth their weight in gold ❤️❤️
I was a hospice nurse & saw many many patients to their death! Now,my time is coming soon & today, after watching this,I’ll rest easy…..thank you!
Sending hugs 🤗💚💚
God bless you.
God Bless you 🙏
Trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior today 🙏 don't miss Heaven
Wow, thought gloomy but at the same time, nice and impressive work, and love how Tracy and the other staff handle the decedents with care and respect. We should all watch this to remind ourselves that death is part of life, and we are all going to be in that stretcher being care for like that someday.
Thanks for watching.
Even the Dead ,deserve respect ,God bless these people for what they do..🙏
🤗❤️❤️
This was done very respectfully. Thank you for treating the dead with dignity and respect
Thank you for your kind words ❤️❤️
@Areyoudyingtoknow You're welcome! ✨️✨️✨️
❤️❤️
WHY DOESNT SHE HAVE AN ASSISTANT!!??
Sp the black body bags are reused?
Hi, body bags are never reusable, one use only then into clinical waste bins once finished with.
I worked in a restaurant hone in 1975. I saw a lot of tragic deaths. People who were left by loved ones or not, they still ended their lives there. My story will continue if you're interested .
Y'll don't get the respect you deserve. Thank you for your work
Thank you 😊❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing this .Very Interesting .
You are very welcome 💚💚
I watched another video that had been streamed live and one of the questions had been about how did they handle the remains of babies and children. They person on screen said that they didn't like to put the little ones in the cooler by themselves. They put the babies in the arms of one of the adults so that it would be held and the little children were placed so they were snuggled or hugged. I thought that was so precious....Being hugged until the very last.
Yes I think most of us Morticians do that. I talked about that very thing in a video a while ago that we did on children and babies. It's hard for us to put babies onto a large tray in the cold room on their own it's just not right. I always place them with an adult it's seems the right thing to do 🤗❤️❤️
Two member mortician team would be a better idea to move or carry the heavy load. Morticians are very professional and respectful of the deceased.
Hi, thank you. Yes I do have help with larger bodies. Take care 🤗💚💚
I'm so sorry Rebecca for your unimaginable loss. I can only wish that everyday of the rest of your life is pleasant and rewarding you've suffered enough for several lifetimes. God bless you.
Much respect 🙏🏽
Thank you ❤️❤️
This is a video with maybe not the best or happiest subject matter, but it makes me feel a helluva lot better knowing that my father, who passed away six years ago at home was handled with dignity and respect. Thank you to all the professionals that helped both my step mum and myself navigate an already solemn occassion and never treated us as a number but with compassion and kindness.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your father 😔 sending you our deepest condolences ❤️
And thank you for your kind words means a lot 🙏🏻 take good care ❤️❤️
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will have eternal life for your soul. Time is not on our side. Accept Jesus now.
We don't die but our bodies die. Just like a car engine dies after 100,000 miles. Our souls live on in the stars.

What a Waste of time. Thought they were going to show what happens during wash, prep etc...Not wrapping & unwrapping plastic. Long walk off a short pier.
We have done many videos that show these processes.
Hi, yes definitely nothing to be scared of. Thank you for your kind words 🙏 take good care 💚💚
Husband died 1997.aunt 1998 sister and brother in law 1999. Three bad years
I so wanted to be an embalmer or funeral director! Was jus too expensive of a schooling ! Also, I realized there wil be babies and children , and I just couldnt do that without breaking down . So I became a medical assistant! She does this what such grace and kindness towards the deceased … ❤ 🙏🏼
Thank you so much 🤗💚💚
It’s like pass the parcel when they arrive. How many layers?? 😅
