roger waters is amazing, love all his songs
❤❤❤❤❤❤
All you Gilmour vs Waters people make me laugh. Why does it have to be one and not the other? What made peak Floyd fly was all of them. If you want proof of how it was about all them (particularly Rick Wright too) not any particular one, you only have to hear records such as The Final Cut where much of it is grim listening and desperately lacking the musical beauty of the Gilmour/Wright interplay, or at the other end of the scale The Division Bell, where they've produced a record that sounds like Floyd but it has no bollocks.
i disagree, the final cut had so much tension on it you can feel it and yes gilmour is just playing the game without any creativity whatsoever, but the final cut is to me a lyrics album, there are some of rogers best lyrics on there, amused to death is a masterpiece too, lyrically and musically, but jeff beck is special and a big gun to surogate the awsomeness of Gilmour, the division bell was a masterpiece, and your forgetting a momentary lapse also which everyone seems to have forgotten, loved it seen it live twice, and what i`ll agree on is the classic four piece, waters, gilmour, wright and mason, of course this is special and we will never really see the likes of it again, and nothing can ever compare or come close, but hey you have to get what you can.
LOL, peak floyd?
@@offal agreed 💯 👌
I like the Division Bell. Saw them in concert. Melodic. Big sound. Good album. It's got some great interplay between Gilmour and Wright, Wright sings, Mason's drumming is good, and Gilmour's guitar work on the album is fantastic. A Mometary Lapse of Reason is also good. Also has the big Floyd sound. May not be landmark like DSotM, but then again, what is.
Syds a genius
I remember Everything !
luttimatos Yes! - exactly
luttimatos so much nostalgia in the phrase...
That was deep
White socks... in 2005.. But I LOVE the guy !
"I remember everything".
Rock Monster :Sir Roger Waters 🎧 🎸 🤘
Love Roger ❤️
What a great well polished interviewee!!
i put him at the genius level
LOL😂
No syd was a genius and waters stole his ideas !
@@Sandwich13455 a bare assertion and the absence of a shred of proof
@@Sandwich13455Waters didn't steal his ideas. Where on Earth did you get that from?
@@DavidAdarmases12 because of Syd's ideas for a multimedia concert and introduced sound effects
Syd and David playing together 🤩
Where? I didn't see David in the footage.
Thats syd in both clips
Its amazing how intelligent, a person can actually be....I envy that..i wish I was,!! doing to much lsd, back in my teen years, was a bad move. I never new the effect it would have on my later yrs in life!......if I can only do it over, I would never even pick up a joint!!
Roger would have said before the show, that don't show any video with Dave in it.
They'd done the reunion gig by this point so were sort of reconciled, although Gilmour wasn't really interested in reuniting properly.
Absolutely genius Wonderful to have friends like that and bandages of same genius
Had Syd not gone off the rails they would have been bigger than the Beatles. .
I can think of less tactful ways to end an interview with Roger Waters than "on that bombshell", but not many
I recoiled at that!
Where the hell did that come from?
Wealth is not equally distributed. Still waiting for my cheque off him.
What about real rich people, the billionaires, are you waiting for their much larger cheques too? I bet you don't care about them because they don't complain about themselves to you do they? Funny that!
It was a bit like slipping on an old glove.....a boxing glove?
Bandmates genius also
So he says the wealth is still not distributed equally is a problem yet is worth millions
I think he'd make the distinction that he's earned his money. The 1% holding onto massive wealth were largely born into fortunes. Also, as wealthy as he is, he isn't near the very top, the banking clans, etc.
PINK FLOYD and Roger Waters GOD/ Geffen
What band that was playing before the interview with Roger ? Can anyone tell me , please?
the Rakes
^ ha ha, cool ROG
Roger is like an amazing sword. So much amazing music and then he behaves like a rock-star politician and gets involved in bullshite that only some care about.
The music though is second to none and I seen him do The Wall about 12 years ago in Dublin.
Amazing
Look at the ladies dripping behind him...
Yeh, that one with the black hair is soaking.

NAME OF SONG PLEASEEEE ?????
Untitled instrumental and testing Mike's light machine COOL HUH good to see Std relaxed enjoying playing sounds
Just a bit of Floyd noodling
yeah!!! first comment
The opera is unlistenable but someone like RW can get away with that sort of a cock up. He still cracks me up every time I see him interviewed…the ultimate bloody minded, difficult bas£&rd. Brilliant.
he's reduced to this shitshow lol ouch
The rest of pink Floyd would never have agreed to a full reunion. Because Rodger is a bully, now that's not me saying that, it's Dave rick and nick who said it, so there must be some truth to it. And to be fair, Rodger always has his knickers in a twist about something or other. ..
If Roger is so concerned about wealth inequality maybe he can write a check for a couple hundred million to some deserving agency to help remedy the situation.
And how would that help if the political situation remains the same
John Easton How do you know he hasn’t given a lot of money to charities etc?
Numbnut
Throwing money at problems isn't always the solution. We've thrown millions to provide water, anti malaria medicine, schools, transport etc. Has it gone away? Nope!
He's a political pain in the arse
He’s in music not politics you idiot
I'm sure Waters is a really great guy but his politics are really piss-poor
X_LCH_X 625 you're wrong
Lucas Hotchkiss Why? Because his beliefs are different to yours? That’s pretty piss poor.
Do you consider the inequitable distribution of wealth to be a positive thing?
At least he believes in Free Speech, put his middle finger up to Zuckerberg!
@@Fordnan hes sitting on 3OO+Million,why not lead by example ?
