This was a long video in the making, and I am super happy to finally show it of! This thing is absolutely insane to drive and is surprisingly easy to drive if you have riden the real machine.
Countersteer and throttle management in key in those deep snow envirement. Hillclimb is an easy task compared to my previous models, but this really is a machine for the deep stuff.
BUT IS THIS FOR SALE??
No! Not now, at the moment it takes me a week to make 1 machine and my cost is very high. But i want to ship the first few in january. To thank the people that helped me along the way, i will offer those (5?) early test machines to the people that bought physical parts from the shop the soonest. And work my way down the list.
BUT HOW MUCH DOES IT COSTS?
I'm going to stage the builds, meaning stage 1 is a display unit (not working) and stage 4 is a beast of a machine.
Stage 5 is a complete custom machine made to the exact specs of the buyer. It can have carbon fiber reinforcements and complete custom electronic setups.
Price will vary accordingly, but expected price is around $899CAD for the display model and can easily go up form there.
Understand that im only making those in my free time and i can't mass produce them easily. Also each units are customisable and made from scratch. I cant physically make one for everybody, so consider this machine more like a very capable collection item than a toy.

No i won't. there is simply too much time in those models for this to be worth it...

The cherry on top, a rider. 2 servos to control standing, sitting side to side and a gyro to keep itself where it should be. The weight of the electronics should be enough to really get this sled to maneuver. Look forward to getting one myself.

With wider skies on sleds in real life they use pow skies too stay on top of the snow feel like it would have more control
It's already wider than stock, any wider would probably look goofy and i dont think it would improve the experience much if at all.

Needs a rider. Possibly with a weight and a servo that could lean with either a separate channel or tied directly to the steering channel. Even just a Ken in a little snowsuit would be fun IMO. Do you think it could hydroplane over water? I assume its waterproof. Might be cool to try.

I have wanted to build one my self but with aluminum etc. Like the guy in ontarios but i never knew what i could use for a track.

Needs dynamic weight distribution
Now I won’t say it’s perfect. I can see one possible improvement, put a servo in that controls a weight in the centre of gravity of the sled so when you go up a hill you can shift the weight left and right and instead of just falling down the hill you could actually carve the sled. Just a crazy idea. You have made everything else possible here! Again, second comment by me but awesome work man

Literally the 100th time watching this and I’m just amazed how good this sled goes through the snow. I’m speechless and smile because finally someone made a snowmobile that is not a “toy” and actually works good. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

OMFG that is one of the sickest RC I’ve ever seen, deadly long track. If you make the track just a bit wider and widen the ski stance and put wider powder skis on it then it would be more stable for novice/kids to use also. That would appeal to a company such as Traxxas so all of us can get our hands on your creation man. I personally would pay 1000$ for that beast. Keep up the awesome work/innovation. 👍🏽

no seriously you should consider a small collection of those sold at a high price
(I know how much work and effort it must take to make these) but if you could sell a couple for very high price then maybe you could make a bigger amount and so on and so forth
(As they are extremely high quality I think this would work)

Dude very amazing work. I was just talking to a buddy the other day that I wanted to build one. You should also look into offering a kit so people can build it them self and paint there parts and such. And also make it have zero electronics and they can order there own after they build there kit
Also is there a way I can take the 3D files from the rmk build or are those also unavailable? And would the rmk track work for the ski doo chassis

Yes, but it does not include anything of the G4

Subscribed, I cannot believe the amount of time it must of taken to cad that machine up and imo it does excellent in deep snow, better than I expected, awesome job Mr. Pascal sir. Like most have said a servo with some weight transfer would be awesome but still it does a super job , could not trust my eyes what I was seeing in your video, just haveone question , how did you make the track??? You will have a lot of buyers for this. Keep up the good work and happy new year!!!
Just an idea but how hard would it be to add some sort of weight that shifts when the skis turn to help stability when turning like an actual rider would do
Always like a good RC snowmobile build but they never seem to handle very good. My guess is because they're based on the same dimensions as actual sleds but they don't have a "scale" 200lb rider keeping them balanced. I know my actual sleds don't ride for shit when I fall off and they keep goin, a few seemed to aim for trees automatically.
Sick!! So how many is on the list? Do you do pre-orders or pay after? I wold like an roller but with the upgrades needed. Paint/design I'll do my self.
