We don't get too much spare time lately so I normally don't film and just enjoy the view...but thought it was time to finally share the best part of owning a 4wd!
I grew up on the beach and its hands down my favourite type of offroading. I think I could happily give up mud and rock crawling but Id never be able to give up beach four wheel driving!
This spot is about 5km past Toomulla which is north of Townsville. Its usually a pretty popular spot and at low tide there is plenty of beach to ride or drive along. See a few people fishing every now and then but can't say Ive personally had any amazing catches.

The "end" of the bread is usually known as the crust, it is in S.A., and you are correct, the more you know the more you realise what you don't know. Looks like a great camp spot, good setup.👍

The crust is the best part of the bread, especially when it's a poppy seed loaf from a bakery (no free plugs here) whoops Bakers Delight. Your camp setup on the beach was 5 star camping. So much better than lockdown here in Vic. Look forward to your next vid, they are always a good watch.

Greetings from Canada this is my first time watching one of your videos made me smile. Really your dad bought all your cars LOL. And if that’s a six-figure vehicle you’ve been robbed. If your dad is anything like my dad there’s no way he paid for your cars I remember once as a kid telling my dad as it was getting close to Christmas I had my eye on a bike he turned around and said that’s nice son keep your eye on it because you’re not getting your arse on it.
Crust, the best part of a loaf of bread, especially if it's freshly baked 😋.
To everyone who thinks that you didn't buy and build your rigs, give them a huge dose of disinfo and let them run with it. Have fun with them because they usually do what they accuse you of!

The Crust
"The end slice"
Never understood the cross chain crap in practice, I mean when that trailer unhooks it doesn't gently drop drop into the chains that a crossed over. It's going to be bucking around like a bull that just had his nuts zapped, more ppl need to focus more on chain lengths and how much slack is available. You have faaaaaaar to much slack.
But I do love your videos, I'm a fan😁
Yeah I've never actually seen it effectively work in a situation like that but it just feels wrong not to cross them haha. I keep the slack pretty even which is adjustable on the trailer probably not shown the best in this video

You manage to fit all your camera gear into that tiny little bag?!?!? Totally jealous. I can't even think about going on adventure without spending half a day reorganizing my gear and getting it ready for travel. THEN I have to find a spot for it in the car.

Im sort of undecided on airing down trailer tires because they then have a bigger foot print they will cause more drag and make it harder to pull across the sand . Where you want a bigger foot print on drive tires, tires you have to pull with more drag may get ya stuck more easily.. then on the flip side if the tires ride more on top of the sand that causes less drag then if they were thinner and riding more in the sand .. its quite the which came first chicken or the egg scenario 🤷♀️😂 i wish there was a way to measure the drag on inflated tires then on the air’d down tires to see which causes more drag … inquiring minds want to know 🤪🤪
I've towed the trailer across the same beaches for awhile now and airing down makes a much bigger difference for me. I believe the type of tyre plays a bigger role again but I will always air down the trailer, any drag caused by airing down the tyres shouldn't really be the determining factor of a vehicle getting stuck. Becoming stuck will come down to a number of other avoidable factors before tyre drag comes into play.

I an most everyone i heard call it the crust an when toasted makes best for just butter or butter an a good amount of vegemite nom nom nom . Nice outtin an cold chinese tucker is atill good or if you got a little stove an a frypan/skillet just heat it up an props to the man of many faces an providing the most laughs marsy boy .
I can't say we ever did that with it just normally used it to keep the stuffing in the hot chook. Yeah was looking at just boiling some water under it to steam it up.
Bugger,that is modern camping. Rum and coke yes that was my poison when l lived there. Talking about rumours l herd Marsy is the Clark of works when your working. Was camped in your area until a week ago,started to get hot so time to leave back to Victoria.😉
