My main frustration for the gear system is that some suits that you want to customise, e.g Jason's Beyond suitstyle, don't have any gear slots, so you're stuck with a heavily underpowered suit that is only PL 500, and then you have another suit that doesn't look as good but has 3 mod slots and you can get it up to PL 2000. And if you try to transmog the suit into the beyond style, you can't customise the look or colourway of the suit.
They got this right in dc universe online. Wear the gear u need but look how u want down to the color but all in all good system. Couldn’t do this at all in the Arkham games so it’s a nice feature that Gotham has.

Yeah, I don't know why they did that,
But you can apply the transmog to stronger suits

Kinda wish you could just, transmog from one customized suit to another customized suit 🫤 so you’d just generally have more overall options
