hey folks! thanks so much for watching ~ I'm sorry my voice is louder in the voice-over part. I'm still testing out things with the editing app I'm using and I'm trying to create the best experience for everyone, but you might have to turn the volume down a bit during the middle part.. I'm still learning, thank you for our patience and for being here
I love the travel vlogs! Thanks for putting the maps locations of all of the places you went to - hopefully I can visit it one day too :) your swatch board looks super cute ☺️
I’m sure you’re asked this all the time but I can’t help remark on your English accent it’s truly wonderful I can barely detect the German accent. I really enjoyed the video. I live in the midlands and I am planning a trip down to London so you’ve given me some great ideas. ♥️
I concur with your London choices! I live in California and used to visit London once a year. My perfect days always included a visit to Liberty, Gail’s Bakery and Loop! I’m looking forward to seeing the previous episodes you’ve posted.
how perfect!! i’ll be in london in just a few days after my graduation party and your hobbies resonate sooo much with mine so this video and the shops were just perfect!!🫶🏼 very excited 😛
This is such a relaxing video with lots of ideas for exploring London. I really want to visit Loop and appreciate that you shared feeling somewhat overwhelmed by all the options! I can imagine feeling the same! Now for an off topic request- please share where you got your glasses? I love the soft shade of brown. Best wishes
So ein tolles video! Auch wenn es mal kein Strick-Podcast war, hat es mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht :) Ich liebe die art, wie du erzählst. Vielen dank, dass du uns London aus deiner Perspektive gezeigt hast.
Looks like a lovely time in London. Thanks for sharing. The book title used in the US is People We Meet on Vacation, which struck me as odd as well. I loved Book Lovers and Beach Read, and I’m about to read Happy Place. Hope you enjoy all your new books.
I'm going to move to London after the summer and this video just made me so so much more excited to go!!! I cannot wait to check these places out :) What a nice Video and calming vlog of a busy city
thank you! as my glasses they are from Ace & Tate, I wear the pierce large in fizz, golden brown bio and the tigerwood in the sunglasses version on rotation
I loved watching your perfect day in London. I really want to visit London some day and I’m so excited to go to Loop London and liberty. It looks like it was really a perfect 2 days for you. I’m also so excited for you that you are coming to Seattle. I live about 2 hours from Seattle in Portland, OR so let me know if you would want to spend a day here. We have a beautiful bookstore called Powells and so many great yarn stores. I love watching your adventures. Great episode.💖
Which year did you work as an au pair? I've just found your podcast, but I also used to work as an au pair - I lived in Peckham and my kids went to school in Dulwich!! I was there the first half of 2016 😄
I read Book lovers, Beach read and you & me on vacation and I‘m totally With you. I loved Book Lovers but you & me was a bit boring. For me, Beach read is somewhere in the middle, definitely better than you& me! Have fun Reading!
lovely video, i hope you don't mind a bit of feedback: it would be nice to have your introduction/background integrated into your vlog footage, rather than a large chunk of the video at the beginning. It's fine to do a short introduction, but at 7 minutes its a lot to sit through before getting to the reason I clicked on the video. Hope this doesn't sound rude, I really enjoy your videos :)
hey and thanks for your constructive feedback! I did the voiceover before filming the intro and the book haul and didn’t have enough footage to get in all the information I wanted to share during that part of the video so it was important to me to introduce the video in a way that seemed welcoming and nice to me and hopefully didn’t leave too many questions unanswered! but I’ll definitely take that into consideration for my next vlog video 😊
