Hi. Mr. Don black well. Thank you so much for this serman and all the others. The Bible school studys. I hope and pray to God for many more years for you. I Sharon Stevens. I live in Australia. I am a Christian of the church of Christ in Dandenong. God bless you
The gospel that Jesus Christ taught is John 3:16 - " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." With John 3:16 you have to be saved by also "keeping the Law of Moses." Matthew 19:17 "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." The gospel that Paul taught (I Corinthians 15:1-4) is that: (1) Our sins were forgiven on the cross. (2) We are saved when we believe this (Paul's) gospel. (3) Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by this (Paul's) gospel. II Timothy 2:8 - "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel." Do you want to have your sins forgiven by Paul's gospel, and be saved by believing Paul's gospel, and be raised from the dead by Paul's gospel, or do you want to try and keep the Law of Moses? I'm surprised that as I look in the auditorium in the beginning of the sermon that there are empty spaces. With preaching like this I would expect to see standing room only. How I long for that kind of preaching here in Las Vegas.
I’m sure the empty seats are due to compliance with the COVID-19 social distancing. I agree, Bro. Blackwell is awesome at delivering God’s word. I am so thankful I can stream his messages.

Brother Don, I loved the sermon. I hope to get to meet you one day. I can call you brother, because I too am a Christian; and a Christian only. I too am a member of the LORD'S church, which HE established on the day of Pentecost; in or around A.D. 33. Continue the LORD'S work. May all people learn to let the Bible speak. We Christians have no human creed but GOD'S written word. Speak where the Bible speaks. Be silent where the Bible is silent. Again, brother Don keep up the good work. If I never meet you in this life, I am looking forward to meeting you in Paradise in the next. Paul R. Wright from Texas.

Don Blackwell, you are 1 of my favorite Bible teachers in US. I would love to meet you. You are a very nice man, showing fruits of the Spirit & this teaching is clear, well articulated & executed. However I don't agree with cinfessing sins to a group gathering of any kind, Christians included. Confessions are private, to be kept between the repentant confessor & God alone.
Whoever brings you a plan for salvation that can not be found in the word of God has not brought you a plan for salvation, they have brought you deception.
As much as I love to listen to Don preach on the ONE True Church it makes me wonder how this comes across in an assembly that divides the ONE body of Christ into individual loaves during communion and that divides "THE Cup" into individual cups... who divides the assembly into separate "classes" that is contrary to Biblical teaching and sound doctrine.
I'm pretty sure don or one of the o the other teachers did a lesson backed up as always with scripture that logically teaches why the scriptures don't teach that practice. Please look into it.
Dear Brother Don, I know this was recorded long ago but I sent a link to my girlfriend. She believes all churches are anathema. she does not go to church anywhere at all. I have talked to her but don't live near her. When I have had the opportunity to talk to her briefly she thinks I myself am not saved or I wouldn't be trying to tell her something different. I hope she might understand your lesson. It is excellent. Thank you.

Where is your one cup and one loaf? You're close, but not the Church Christ built. Unity in one cup and one loaf is the understanding and beliefe in one lord, one god, one body, one blood.

@@bama101010 I completely agree, we are not saved by the works of the Law, the old testament, nor are we saved by just believing Christ died for the sins of the world. The great commission was after Jesus Christ arose from the dead, and his charge not only to his Apostles, but also to his disciples today, is to go to and make disciples of all nations, (how do we do that) baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, (then what else do we do after their immersion for the forgiveness of sins) teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. Mathew 28 vs 19 and 20. This is exactly when things changed, Christ said in verse 18 of the same chapter that all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. As a matter of fact, Paul's Gospel was attributed to Christ, and the traditions which were handed to the Apostles, were actually from Christ himself. (See 1st Corinthians Chapter 11 vs 2) and also the letter from Peter to all Christians, reminding us all, in first Peter Chapter 3 verse 18 through 22. Comparing Noah and the Arc which only 8 souls were saved, he says what now saves us in Baptism, the Greek word being used here is Baptizo, meaning to dip, plunge or immerse. Peter continues to say it's not the removal of filth from the flesh, but the answer of a GOOD CONSCIENCE, toward God, in likeness of or through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts Chapter 2 verse 38, shows us how we are to be saved, in Peter's first sermon after being gifted with the promise of the Father (the holy spirit), Peter says to first repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins (creating disciples as Jesus asked after his resurrection), and you shall be gifted with the Holy Spirit (the seal of God's approved workers) then in verse 47 of Chapter 2 says, the Lord added to the church daily, those who were being saved ( baptized and given the holy spirit). This is where Isaiah 52 and 53 come in. Believing in just the Old Testament, just in Christ, or just in Paul's Gospel (which was learned while he was in Arabia with Christ in the book of acts) will never be enough, it's only the few, who carry out the original doctrine as it's been given. Those with ears to hear and eyes to see.
I want to add that the Church is neither denominational nor nondenominational. Google and Webster definition of nondenominational: not restricted to a denomination or open and acceptable to all denominations. Just wanted to point this out. If I'm wrong let me know.
im all for Christian unity but ecumenism can be problematic. For example , if i am pro life but my nondenominational partner does not believe that contraception is evil because it is not mentioned in the bible. She goes on the pill and the fetus gets aborted , that would be sinful. Let me know what you think ? hope to hear from you soon.
I would simply like to point something out as well. The Church that Christ built wasnt Catholic, because their doctrines dont follow his teaching. They're not Baptists because baptists dont follow the same way the Apostles did. They're surely not Mormon because the Mormons dont believe Gods inspired word is enough. The only time the true Church was mentioned as a whole was in Roman's 16 v 16, the Churches of Christ. Any other Church NOT mentioned is there for not the Church Christ Built. Because their reverence for him is non existant. Peter, Paul, James, Thaddeus all didnt die for the Church. Christ himself did. Doing anything other than what is asked of us is not going to gain salvation for us, but doing what is asked will. So what is asked of us? Well, being immersed or Baptised for the remission of our sins, after hearing, believing, confessing and repenting of our sins, allows us to put on Christ. Then afterward, assembling physically in one place, to commune his death burial and resurrection, in unity with one cup, and one unleavened loaf allows us eternal life.
The gospel that Jesus Christ taught is John 3:16 - " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." With John 3:16 you have to be saved by also "keeping the Law of Moses." If the Bible is taught in its purity, it doesn't matter. Many people will still regard it as an attack; simply because the truth is being taught. Unfortunately, in too many places throughout the world, by just professing that one is a Christian is regarded as an attack. I hope that the individual who responded will take that into consideration. Paul R. Wright from Texas.
Don, by saying you are not preaching the church of Christ is not a denomination, you are falling into the trap of 1 Corinthians 1:10 et sea. Churches of Christ are affiliated just like five dollar bills.
Do how about Acts 2:28? Doesn’t say church of Christ. Is it false? Rather read Romans 8:9 should be preached. Romans 8:9 is the only criteria. 2 Corinthians 13:5. Get over yourself.
Amen brother! But then wants to put up that mess about Alexander Campbell another trick that the devil foud his way to weasel through Campbell didn't found anything! Jesus said he was going to build it!(math.16:18)/it was prophesied in(Isaiah 2:2)it was established in (acts2:38-47)
As always... Excellent teaching

(1) Our sins were forgiven on the cross.
(2) We are saved when we believe this (Paul's) gospel.
(3) Jesus Christ was raised from the dead by this (Paul's) gospel. II Timothy 2:8 - "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel."
Do you want to have your sins forgiven by Paul's gospel, and be saved by believing Paul's gospel, and be raised from the dead by Paul's gospel, or do you want to try and keep the Law of Moses?

I'm surprised that as I look in the auditorium in the beginning of the sermon that there are empty spaces. With preaching like this I would expect to see standing room only.
How I long for that kind of preaching here in Las Vegas.
Try Victory Road Church of Christ. . .Its in Henderson
I’m sure the empty seats are due to compliance with the COVID-19 social distancing. I agree, Bro. Blackwell is awesome at delivering God’s word. I am so thankful I can stream his messages.
@@ginnyhoward199 No. Not everything is due to Covid. This was taped 3/2019.

Very good minister
Jesus said in Matthew-15-13; but he answered and said, every plant, which my Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up; how plain is that; it says let them alone; they be blind leaders of the blind, and if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall in the ditch, they have blind folders on,

WOW! This is really good!
Is this church still active?!?! Great word?!? Fact preaching pastor , I love it.
God bless you bro.
Whoever brings you a plan for salvation that can not be found in the word of God has not brought you a plan for salvation, they have brought you deception.
yes sir
❤
Thank you.

Could someone who is a church of Christ denomination member answer this: must one be baptized in order to be justified by God?
This sermon deals with this question. th-cam.com/video/vAiWHoNUmTI/w-d-xo.html
The church of Christ is not a denomination.
No divisions in the church of Christ I'm Caucasian
Ashy won't people listen?

Imagine if this church spent half the amount of time spreading the gospel as it spends attacking other Christians
If the Bible is taught in its purity, it doesn't matter.
Jehovah has never said shalom or wouldn't be considered anything but Father Germany
