That trust between the two is endearing.

Sonic Colors (DS) is more like the third Sonic Rush but an indirect sequel to Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure because of Marine being mentioned in this game when Tails asked Blaze after Sonic has completed Mission 1 in Sweet Mountain. In conclusion, provided that Sonic Colors is played under DS Mode, this is confirmed as Sonic Rush Trilogy.
Ngl, Sonic and Tails' interactions with the other characters was truly the best part about this game AND it's what it did better than the Wii version :)

Y'know seeing as they tend to port older gameboy games to switch, It'd be cool if Sega has the DS version ported to the modern consoles(so console players can play the game most of them missed) with Sonic Rush a 2 in one game, like the Megaman games. Then again they did that with Sonic Advance and Sonic Battle back in the gba.

Tjis was more of a Sonic game than the Wii version. I played the HELL out of it when i was younger and playing the Wii version for the furst time recently was INCREDIBLY underwhelming. God i wish there was a way to play this game without singing yo ho ho
I like this version better myself. At least when it comes to the cast of characters. This one has all of Sonic's other friends, while the Wii version has only Tails. I prefer that all his other friends were more involved. But don't get me wrong, I have alot of fun on the Wii.

It's very funny, because this game came out the same year as Sonic 4 Ep 1. By the same developers. They legit made a better Sonic 4 than their own Sonic 4.
MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS WHOLE DS PORT. Is that we only get to listen to the phase two of the final boss music for a couple seconds like i would slow down my y spam to listen to it
It's a bit annoying how the best track in the game (planet wisp 1) gets drowned out by the noisiest power (drill) so you're not really enjoying it while playing the stage.

I'm talking about while they're inside him. Like in Sonic Lost World when have the Wisps go into him like the Cyan Laser Wisp and you don't use their power you see them fall asleep. So what are they doing while in Sonic's stomach that makes them so tired they fall asleep?

I find it odd how they decided to pre-render the opening cutscene from the wii version, but all the other cutscenes in the ds version are just sprite shots with textboxes for the character communication. Why can't they just pre-render all the cutscenes from the wii version and add new ones in the same style?
In fairness video files are huge, and DS cartridges have very limited filesize capacities to work with. It's easier to fit the textbox cutscenes because they only need a small handful of graphical assets and text.
@@FCPlaythroughs Like I mean, if they were going to pre-render the CG cutscenes in the game, then why not just pre render every cutscene? it's incredibly distracting. they could've done the same thing that they did with the 6th gen version of unleashed (wii and PS2 version) where the cutscenes were literally pre rendered versions of the 7th gen cutscenes (360 and PS3). the wii is a much weaker system than the 360 is and it can pull off cutscenes that look almost identical to the 360 version. and the ds showcased with this game that it can prerender CG cutscenes ripped from the wii. so why not just pre-render all the cutscenes minus the mission ones and the extra final boss?

Yeah in-game Sonic jumps between the top and bottom screens, I just edited it to show whichever screen he's on at a given moment.

Colors on the Wii was already mostly 2D. At least here it’s all 2D and it’s basically Sonic Rush 3. Definitely better than the Wii version.
