this past week, i took babe ruth out of my lineup for the first time all year because a) there were other cards that i wanted to use and b) i didn't feel like i was at a disadvantage (stats wise) if i did. this did not happen at ALL in set 1. I am so pleasantly shocked by how good the content has been recently.
Kenny, I've wanted for years to add managers to the game, and I wonder if they could be introduced instead of or in addition to captain cards ... Maybe give a small boost for specific characteristics unique to that manager and a bigger bump for managing specific theme teams (like Jim Leyland boosting a Tigers TT) ... It's gotta be better than these cards that give boosts with little rhyme or reason, right???

It got back on the game, despite College football and Elden ring DLC dropping. Keep it up!

I’m using all of the hof cards (babe in RF) with 4 wildcard slots. Game is more fun than most are making if it, just need to put the time in and be patient.
I don’t know if this is just me but I’m pretty new to the game (getting the game when it was on sale this past couple of weeks) and it’s been a really fun and enjoyable game for me thus far, plus I’m not big on college football and having been burnt out by nba and fifa to a degree, this made me want to play a sport game again, I’m a stickler for grinding stuff out so when I get a bonus when I do stuff in like affinity or conquest I get pretty excited, I’m also a no money spend type of guy so it’s been an enjoyable experience so when this game gives me free stuff and stuff to obtain through grinding it just makes it a pretty good experience for me and have a pretty strong lineup at the moment
15:07 the vast majority JUST want to complain. They bring no solutions and no real desire to see things get better… just whining. Unfortunately they can sometimes drown out the valid feedback. Don’t worry about that group, they will endlessly move the goalposts to stay whining

I’ll add to the nuance take. Playing another game is good. NCAA 25, Fortnite, WoW, or LoL. Don’t just play one game all the time. The game hasn’t been great but it’s been batter or late. Praising them when they do good and calling out them when it’s bad is also good.
I don't know if any of these 99 HOF players make my team but I do like the promo. I honestly think DD gives away too many good free cards. They should of released 3-5 HOF players into packs also.

Seems like a great drop, I put 450 hours in the game but deleted it when Season 2 started. I almost redownloaded but I am going to pass because the season set up is just not for me. So after 1000 plus hours every year this is going to the first year I am done this early in the cycle. But I do enjoy your videos and the discussion. Peace.
Also, may I add, TA is not my bag anymore. But to be fair, it seems they finally are seeing that putting the cards into player's hands will lead to team builds sooner and then the packs can be used to add to and supplement these new builds. But packs being the focus is backwards. but again - I am not a fan of the season set up at all. Not everyone can play 5 hours a day 7 days a week and when you finally finish building a full seasonal team during chapter 3 - here comes the reset............I just can't. Sucks for me but you guys enjoy.
I just enjoy having stuff to do. Im still not finished with all the content. Thats pretty much enough to keep me happy. I like the draft conquest map that lets you replay it and earn more cards. I really liked the draft Showdown that gave you a card for finishing it...I actually played Showdown and felt it was worth my time. Lots of creativity. Lots of cards. Good stuff. My only complaint is that finishing the All Star collection costs lots and lots of stubs, so i wont get Judge...which makes me a little poopy. Otherwise -- thumbs up from me, dog.
I just can’t play football online so college football gets a little repetitive just as playing the show does. As long as the show keeps dropping good cards I will continue playing
Higher vision gives you a better timing window, but it’s also not an essential attribute. If you’re good with a swing, the vision might not matter to you

For me it is too late sadly. I have already uninstalled the game to make space for fallout 4 so i could replay it. I do not like the model they had originally and i dont believe the change is in "good faith". I have a feeling we get the same thing next year pack wise/content wise (to start the game cycle). I say this because this reminds me of last year when the end of year content was amazing and they "listened to the community". Logically speaking this year should have been amazing with how they turned around the end of last year. I gave them a shot this year that it would he better with how last year ended. Now I am going to have to wait for them to show me unlike this year where i assumed they listened and followed how they ended last year.
Awesome? How so? Season 1 was the SAME way? Low diamonds to start, 99's to finish. Then season 2 began and those 99's you got a week to 10 days before were no longer "valid". Season 2 is the SAME! We get 99's coming at the tail end, I expect the next TA drop to feature all 99's...and a week to 10 days later we'll be starting season 3, low diamonds, grind for rhinestones. I expect season 4 will be the same. Playoffs, post-season, fall & winter, I expect the subsequent seasons will be similar till the LAST season (6?) allows ALL the cards with awards, Finest (these are always 99's) when those who are avid fans of the game go into NFL , NCAA or hibernation till Feb or March.

I think it’s unfortunately too late, for me at least.. College Football Ultimate team and College Football Dynasty have my full attention at the moment. I’m sitting on millions of stubs, the most stubs I’ve ever had in ANY MLBTS title,(I’m always No Money Spent) yet I don’t feel compelled to play. Whether it’s been the lack of programs and new (usable) legends or un-rewarding gameplay (perfect-perfect outs & cheesy stadiums), nothing this year has felt great in the Show. Team Affinity is so tedious and honestly might be killing the game…Add the fact that they got rid of card series collections and minimized live series collection rewards , plus all of the higher overall cards have been in packs the whole year. It’s a disaster and I’m ready to move on from this year to a whole new disaster that is EA Sports lol P.S. love your content bro. Keep keeping it real and doing your thing.

Everyone says vision does nothing to a hitter. I hit alot better with cards with high vision,so it has to do something. What are your thought?
