I made my exhaust manifold by ordering a m40 turboexhaust manifold, ofcourse it had the wrong flange type which bolts up to the engine so I cut that off and ordered a seperate flange for the m43 engine and welded it on the exhaust manifold. Very clean and works perfectly, the exhaust manifold even came with a blow off valve flange so its very good quality
You can remove the AFM cover and adjust the fueling. Inside, there is a sprocket that you can turn to increase or decrease the fuel. Additionally, you can solder zener diodes to the ECU's AFM signal wire to increase boost over 0.5 BAR. However, the most cost-effective option is to purchase a DET3 piggyback . With that you can adjust fueling, timing, and more without the AFM fuckery
as of right now I've gotten a good enough fuel mixture just by using a fuel pressure regulator, and i'll probably keep it this way until the engine explodes :D
Fun to watch, your english explanations are good :) I had not so much currage to make my videos as a vlogs ;) I've build something similar almost 2 years ago already and it is still driving like a champ in next owner hands. I've tuned mine on LPG ecu without changing stock fueling. As I good see you are waaay too rich taping the gas pedal and and even further at wot pull. They can run 12 to 13s even - this is still under 200hp engine :) If you make it leaner it will gain quite a lot of response. Keep it going! I will be for sure watching just for fun even not having b16 already
Thank you! Nothing cooler than slapping a turbo on a small engine :D. About the fuel mixture being rich - I know, it was the first "decent" startup, after that I obviously turned it down.
Finally some more info on turboing these, so many people just making videos with 0 explanation. I assume its a rising rate fuel pressure regulator right? Also did you do anything with the maf? I heard somewhere that you have to make the flap in it tighter or idk.
Correct, it's a 1:1 rising rate fpr. About the maf, you can adjust it but it's not necessary. Right now I have good AFR at boost, but slightly lean at idle, I could open up the maf and adjust it slightly, so it dumps a bit more fuel idle, but i'm too lazy :D
sorry par velo atbildi, neteiktu ka baiga bedre, galvenais lai turbina nav parak liela tam mazajam motoram. pa sausu griezh, iet apmierinosi, ir jautri :D

Labs, iepatikās ideja savējo m43b16 safabricēt ar šo to un turbo iemest. Tiešām labs viģiks.
cant wait to see next episode. im trying to put together a hidden turbo kit with a bottomount so i can hide the snail in my m44 z3.
nice, good luck!
incredible work man!!!
appreciate it!

11:30 very rich ..how AFR in WOT ? how boost ?

@@streetdrive yes, yes domàju ka būs kārtējais Austrālijas turbo video 😂
Cik viss turbo projekts maksāja?Ja var jautāt
Ap 1200€
turbo cars have lower compresion you are pressurising the sump and rocker thats why your oil is comming out
So should I enlarge the combustion chamber?
Hi man)) nice job
Where did you order the parts and how much it cost?
thank! aliexpress, ebay, fmic, maxpeedingrods and also a local site called trackday
