There is an easier method with the moving platforms that you pull, just stay on the middle one
And just camp out on the very edge of the platform
Dont forget to change your ps5 energy settings to never shut down and check every 5 hours to level up

Just a notice for you guys, it is nowhere near 200k per hour. Devs have made it so the red reapers are not good for farming vigor. The vigor they drop is dependant upon how many times you've killed it. Its huge at first, but quickly craters to about 1.5K. Its a great method for farming Scours, but not great for farming vigor.
I was about to ask that because I killed 4 of them in 1 go and got 32k
But then I killed 6 of them and only got like 7k
it works great if you look up the platform version. afk farm. i'm leaving mine on while i eat or do things and i come back to 30-40k per hour off doing nothing
I am at level 80 it just give me 2k
Yeah, I was using the afk version too. I mainly want the vigor for bought items, not leveling. That being said yeah, its somewhere between 32-40 k per hour afking but its definitely not 200k and there are more efficient ways to farm vigor if you Don't mind doing so actively vs afk.
The more you kill them the less they give
there’s an AFK version. and it doesn’t depend on character level, unfortunately it depends on how many times you’ve killed the reaper. i’m level 30 and i started out getting around 8,000 and now after having killed the reaper so many times i only get 1,500. it’s still a good way to farm Umbral Scouring so it’s useful for that at least.

Yea happened to me a couple times when I was tryna farm umbra scours . It was a pain in that ass but I was able to farm up to 40 and get pietas sword
Try the afk version on the middle platform that you pull with your lamp, around that spine path right around the corner. I got about 70-80k per hour while I took a nap 😅
Hey I have a better farming location ; I found one in fief of the Chill Curse, there is a place inside some castles (where there are 3 mendacious visage in Umbral) where you can have the 3x bonus because for a reason the red reaper don't ''appear'' in this specific location (he is bugged just outside a certain perimeter). Try it it's very fine for mid-advanced level, but be careful because you cannot use the sanguinatrix !
The Reaper thing does not work on PS5 with the latest update - he is able to get on to the beams no matter what you do. Trying to soul flay him just makes him more mad :D

Hope this helps :)
@alientenno I'm trying the AFK method right now, the other one with yeeting him off the rafters is not working for me.

I did a variation of the Red Reaper farm near the bell tower, where you can just sit on the edge of the umbral platform, and he just dies and drops all his loot. I did this yesterday and farmed a few vigors. I tried it again today, and the red reaper didn't die anymore. So sadly, I believe this is now patched.
After about 150 scourings if you only have 3 remembrances you can just simply sell them for vigor. Doesnt quite offset the loss of vigor but it does help.

Have you done it AFK. keep going to where there is a platform to pull where it stays in the middle. wait on the far side of the platform, almost falling off. When he spawns he spawns in mid air and auto kills himself. You can do this AFK.

Way easier to farm just by afking, multiple hours, as long as you aren't too high level to spawn in ranged enemies on the side. When you're on the Umbral lift nearby, just make a gamepad config to toggle on siphoning and put the steamoverlay on, you're set to go. I've also put the lowest settings, with framegen and dlss ultra performance, but with 900p res in window, incase the item drops are too much, but at least my souls are always safe, depends though when it auto saves.
Falling to death means also things were saved, also all the items remain where they were.
And by all means farm those plucked eyes please! Donate them and when we get Tier 2 from Putrid Mother we can buy more rebirth for 75 eyes.

No it's not. Doing it right now on ps5 10/17. You have to use the floating rock and go AFK in the middle.

There is a way that alloww you to do this reaper farm afk automated
I believe the xp multiplier is one of the few things held over from the original game
this imho doesnt work well since sometimes the reaper follows you across or moths summon and spam ranged attacks

Nah get a mate, someone you can trust, give them all your replete vigor skulls then rest to get the save, they then drop all of the skulls and soon as they do force shut the game. You then pick them up and when they log back in they still have the skulls so rinse and repeat took us probably an hour and half to have every Stat at 100. This also works for other items.

hey guys, looking for advice if anyone knows. question is: late game, is there any reason not to switch to the cast holy ring with the best umbral catalyst and max (~75) both holy and inferno stat? i would think it is same same but a bit more spellpower

Don't respec, unless you want to gain more stats than you actually got vigor for, aka soft ban or just a ban.
Regardless I hope they don’t patch I love cheesing some soul bosses and idk it’s just a nice thing the community found
you also get less vigor the higher your level from the reaper, im at 91 and im only getting about 1500 to 2000 per reaper, but i was getting 6000+ when i was at a lower level doing this

They need to just leave stuff like this we diehard fans of these games it doesn't really matter we like to reroll and stuff like this makes it fun to do so instead of backstabbing reloading rinse repeatedly

Sadly after the first few reapers the reward goes downt to 2k / "kill"
I created a new caracter to test it, and for me (without leveling up any timy) after 4-5 death it just gave 2-3 k / death.. maybe it's because I collected the drops? I dunno :/@rodrigo646
i just started a new toon got to place within 20 min - hoping that method works - i was level 40 before and only getting like 2k per kill - hoping this shoots me to like 200k - just looking at shiny purple actoss the screen lol

@thechozenfew1273 It's still 18k an hour for doing nothing at 1500 a pop. And 5 boss currency as well.

I couldn't neat pieta. I was like level 10-12 or something, only a few levels from starting once i got there. She destroyed me so bad i thought i was supposed to lose. When i realized i was supposed to win....i was like no fkn way lol.
So i farmed the area where you backstap the guy, still the tutorial area. Iwould reset at the spot near that big door and the broke gate you soul flay to get the eye.
I ran across the plank, killed the 2 guys before and 3 after, back across the plank to the backstab guy, the the 3 skeletons , the mage with the parasite, climb the latter to get the mage on the top right after parasite guy. Drop stab 2 skelles, charge the fire mage and skeleton. Turn around and clear the last 2 skelles near the big tree.
Now the area is clear, aggro the strong fire sword guy and climb the latter and keep jump attacking him and running. Once hes gone theres 2 mages and 5 skelles back towards the original entrance to the area.
I farmed that for a couple hours, till 4am. Had 20 vitality and 30 inferno. Went back to pieta and she stomped me in the ground again...lol.
So i used the summon and lobbed fireballs like the cheese artist i am
Well there’s one thing that we all have to respect and that’s your honesty. I was getting stomped by pieta. I think I got beat about 6 times in a row before my friend joined me to help. It’s strange though I feel like she is much tougher to beat than the other bosses that I’ve faced so far. I really struggled with her mainly because of her grab attack but every boss I’ve faced after her has felt a little bit easier. I just have a basic raw damage build though I’m a terrible mage so I just stick with basic damage.
@@GXDS-GIFT now that I've gotten further, I feel exactly the same. She was way hard. I haven't had much trouble out of anything else except when I used the 9.5k key to go through to the tougher area at the time. Those crossbow guys can eat the fattest of dicks
But I even killed the mini boss guy where you get the str ring. I did that all way before I went further into the area to get the blacksmith.
For some reason pieta was just super hard and out of place feeling toe. I haven't heard anyone else complain but me so idk lol

Yesterday I did it and I gained a lot of vigour, but today when the reaper dies I only gain 1.5k, whereas yesterday I was earning around , 6k /;

Can you show the boss locations i mean the remembrance bosses and where is the gorge for slotting runes
Most of the rememberance bosses are found just by playing through the game in order

@@goldenglowmaster8510 i mean, you fight the rememberance bosses in a very linear order. It's not like Elden Ring where you can skip bosses and come back. If you want a specific boss item, you need to kill every main boss before it. As for the first rune slab, you find it halfway through Fitzroy's Gorge after completing Forsaken Fen. There is a pretty well put together fextralifewiki for the game already if you want to see boss order and location though

I dont like how they put the increase Vigour ring so late into the game. Also there a afk Version of this farm like 5 second run from that location.
There is an increase vigour ring in the first area lol. Another increase max HP medallion nearby and an increase vigour + stamina ring you can buy at the hub. What you on about.

Cuz i cant find a ring that increase vigor from killing enemies in the first area or hub. i was talking about the Moth ring and the video was talking about it too. So please tell me of this second ring that gives you vigor. we are talking about vigor not vitality. Show me this Vigor ring.

Has been patched for less vigor on reaper kills but still drops the same amount of umbral scourings so still good for that

The mobs placement, combos and quantity are atrocious. This game has the opposite problem of Lies of P. The boss is ez but the mobs are crazy amount and combos chain.
Meanwhile Lies of P has crazy boss combos. Not to mention you need to invest more effort as inferno class.

Dont do this and ruin the game for yourself guys. After you max out every stat with this method there’s literally no point to the game. Play and beat the game normally it’ll be much more satisfying.

How about you don't tell people what to do? Anyone is allowed to play the game exactly how they want, they bought it, it's their choice to make not yours. The leveling cost for every souls game is ludicruous like for example bloodborne it's great that there's a way to get hundreds of millions of blood echoes per living failures kill and you do realize that being max doesn't make you any more "op" because when you hit soft caps you get jack shit for leveling any higher it serves as an achievement to get max more than anything.
This method broken the game…What's the point of playing after this method? the game loses its essence
