King Kano as DLC would be sick
He would be a new twist on a classic character like the entire roster. MK1 already has snowblind easter eggs; adding King Kano would be the cherry ontop. Plus seeing his design in game would be marvelous 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
They could even introduce him in seasons
God, seeing old endings that were just never elaborated upon being acutally revisted with the multiverse concept would be the best thing MK1 could do, ngl

The Quan Chi skins were among my favorites, mainly because Kano, Baraka, Kabal, and Quan Chi were all originally played by Richard Divizio. That and Baraka's alt color referencing Kratos made that Baraka skin my favorite of all character skins.
If the rumours are true and Kano is coming in Kombat Pack 2 id love to see King Kano arrive for Invasion mode with a skin

The Soul skins could be a cool scenario in Cetrion becoming the Fallen Elder God instead of Shinnok or her plan is to turn everyone immortal so the resistance is the revenants bringing back death. Good video as always Snake

Kombat League outfits are some of the laziest skins from the franchise. Thankfully Invasions seems to improve on the idea of KL where the skins aren’t a lazy reskin.

I been meaning to tell you, but I couldn’t find the video so I just say it here but, you are 1000% right about these costumes needing specific intros based off the one you pick, especially when you consider where this game is going and what they’re obviously going to do.

I'm waiting for that too. But I'm patient, overall I liked the story, at least it was a bit more consistent than the trilogy. I'm sure he'll have some things to say though. I did have a few issues like reptile and ashra disappearing after they join with Liu Kang....and Bi-Han being a complete idiot again.
He said in the Kombat Kings podcast that he likes the story.

Skins for Sub Zero, Kenshi and Scorpion themed around Snowblind would genuinely make me so damn happy. Hopefully we could get those voice actors back for their skins, hearing Patrick Seitz as Scorpion in game again would put the dumbest shit eating grin on my face.

imo, the biggest wated potential when it comes to MK11s customization is that they never added the injustice skins for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden, all 3 of those designs are fantastic and it wouldve been sick to have them
Also I like the idea of a Season for M1K incorporating Shao Kahn from the old timeline where he won, if only because a Classic Shao is something I need rn
The skins also seemed to come with other alternate colour schemes like red Kytinn Kabal or Blood League Scorpion but he's in white. They sadly didn't get explanations here, which I would have kinda liked if only to explain why Scorpion is now cosplaying Storm Shadow from GI Joe (also hi from twitter)
Hopefullt they just bring in a full blown customization system like the wwe games or bring back kreate a fighter.
Either would be dope now that we're stuck with multiple timelines

Just out of curiosity Snake, do you think the Scorpion in MK1's Invasion Mode the same one from his MK11 arcade/tower mode ending? Seems to line up since both of them had a hard time finding a timeline where he was happy with Harumi.

I think season 2,3 and 7 could all be connected into one timeline.
With the Netherrealm war going bad for Earthrealm with Sonya,Johnny,Cassie and Jax all dying and becoming revenants. Raiden becomes desperate for a solution and teams up with Kronika. He heard about her from Shinnok who still has a head and is still held prisoner by Raiden ITTL.
In exchange for keeping Shinnok imprisoned for the time being in the void, Raiden will make sure the SF led by Jacqui will serve Kronika in this Deadly Alliance.
Kronika reaches out to Jacqui and promises the restoration of all the revenants through time mumbo jumbo if she will follow her. Kronika see's the revenats as far too powerful to be controled now that they have Johnny and Cassie the two people who could defeat Shinnok, so she seeks to get rid of them.
First the cage family is restored after fighting them. But it turns out Jax cannot be restored a 2nd time so Jacqui has to put him down for good.
Next Jacqui and the restored teaming up with time assassin Erron Black restore Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao and Jade effectively ending the war but there is still stragglers that the new focus is restore next, like Sindel.
The finale shows all the restored heroes realizing that Kronika is evil and mad but worse is that Raiden and the SF are evil too.
Liu Kang and Kung Lao lead the Shaolin, Sub Zero the Lin Kuei, Hanzo the Shira Ryu, the Cage family lead a resistance against Kronika by reluctently teaming up with the Black Dragon who don't want to see earth controled by the SF/Kronika.
Kitana Jade and Sindel team up with Sheeva to fight against Kotal who sided with Kronika.
Kronika has the SF, Raiden, Erron Black and Kotals forces.
All while Kollector is on Shang Tsungs Island charging then collecting the crown to start a new anyway as Kronika see's this TL as not perfect and she is seeking to create One Perfect Balanced Timeline.
You fight Kronikas forces while learning of her plan to reset time. After Raiden is defeated Kronika releases Shinnok who distracts the heroes while she rests time. Unfortunately this suceeds and time is reset.

I'm wondering where the Kitana is that was a Goddess alongside Lui-Kang they reset time together.
I do love that they added a shadder esk system for the recolored skin's so there isn't much clutter like mk11. But they need to add a default color look for the seasonal recolors become i just want the tattoos man, like Raidens tattoos in the recolors are sick i just wish i can have the tats with they're default colors
I feel like after MK1’s story mode, this video is more like headcanon than waisted potential
Well I know that at the very least the next season is either a Sindel themed one or a horror themed one based of the hint we get after FINISHING the Scorpion season.

I don’t remember the name or season, but the Kitana KL skin where it had a lot of purple in it was really nice looking. But overall, I agree. A lot of the KL skins seemed uninspired or were just straight up reskins of existing skins.
Like, If you fight your way all the way up to grandmaster, or whatever the highest rank is, you deserve a bomb ass looking skin.

Going back to your older Soul Calibur Wasted Plotentials video, I think Talim Is also a Wasted Potential, and a huge one at that ☹
Her story could have been Soooo interesting and the fact she can resist both the influence of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur also made her unique and a very interesting character. It so sad how Bamco just seem totally uninteresting at giving her importance or any relevance at all in the series. Whether or not she died during the events of SCIV is also unclear and shrouded in mystery.
She is my absolute favorite character in gaming and it just suck to see how they make her worst and worst by each entry...
Yeah, it is a bit of shame how frequently brainwashing comes up in the official _Mortal Kombat_ games as is--poor Smoke. So I appreciating trying to minimize that just like I appreciate the editing.

Will you do a video about Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) from MK1, assuming you played the story mode? Was his character assassinated, kept in tact or something else? What was done right and what was done wrong with his character in this New Era.
Personally, I think NRS ruined him. I’m so sick of the Sub-Zero slander. I love both Scorpion and Sub-Zero equally, but this is getting ridiculous.
