Hey, Dejan. I was at this concert which was their first American appearance. You can hear me, I think, when the audience yells "New York, New York!" Love to another CBB fan.
Great song. One of the best live albums of all time. Still have it on vinyl and listen to it all the time. Just sorry that I never got to see them perform live.
I love N.Y. bro, i just lived 'bout 3 years there but that was enought to fall in love with the city and his people and everything else that sorrounded it
I FINALLY found this on CD, at Amazon.com used...this is one GREAT album, and as I posted on another version of this song, it NEVER failed to liven up a party!
I used to blast this one as loud as I could in our garage back in the 70's. Was one of my favorite live hard rock songs YEAH!! Still love it!! OH Yeah, I still have the vinyl album, but this is the only song that I would listen to, over & over & over, lol
And when I moved out of NY after 50+ years and moved to Florida I played the Allman Brothers Southbound. But when I went back to visit after 2 years I played this song.
I hear influence from Paul Butterfield on this. Heard this spun on the turntable many times. I lost so many great vinyl albums but thank God for this channel. I'm right there. They can't take that way from me. All night long brothers and sisters...Goin' if I have to walk...
And with Canned Heat,Cactus and shorrly with E.Burdon and War -SPIRIT song.I think they play live somwhere in Germanu or some Europian country,black-White tape.Sorry on indian english.
Some dude said this is a good band to see live. Yup, tru dat. Drop windowpane and see 'em with Blue Oyster Cult sometime if you have a chance. Good luck with THAT.
Excellent album from The
Climax Blues Band.
I never been in N.Y.but this band will make me to go.SUCH A SONG.

Cool! No matter how hard I bang my hands on the desk, the record doesn't skip.
Good music lasts a long, long time.......
The version on cd is edited, and it doesn't cut it.

Nice to hear this tune on vinyl. The editors butchered this song on the CD.

My first band used this as an end of set tune for a few years. I still rock back and forth in my seat when it plays.
