    About Sinn Samouth:
Sinn Sisamouth disappeared during the Khmer Rouge genocide and his exact fate has never been confirmed, with multiple sources making contradictory claims. Due to his ongoing popularity with the Cambodian people, there has been a great amount of speculation about his whereabouts after the Khmer Rouge forced the evacuation of all residents from Phnom Penh on April 17, 1975, and his apparent death at the hands of the new regime. In the film ”Don't Think I've Forgotten“, an interview subject speculates that Sisamouth was originally evacuated to a small village but was then ordered to return to the city to work for the Khmer Rouge in some capacity, but it is unknown if he in fact followed this plan.
A popular but apocryphal story claims that Sisamouth was about to be executed by a Khmer Rouge firing squad but requested the opportunity to sing one last song in an attempt to appeal to the soldiers emotions, but they executed him anyhow. In 2006, Khmer Apsara magazine granted a long interview to a man named Keo Chamnab who claims to have seen Sisamouth's execution at a jail in Prek Ta Duong village in 1976.

They tried to destroy us but couldn’t. Cambodia will rise back to its golden glory as it once was only better. The time is coming.

I was born in Takeo province in 1969. We will NEVER become great again because of 99% corruption from those people running the country and our Khmer’s values extremely poor. I was born in Cambodia and I will die in Cambodia.

My Cambodia country alone wouldn’t never ever loose all these wonderful people and wonderful riches histories and peaceful country but behind close doors there is some few neighbors countries wanted Cambodia territories that cause Khmer political involved, brain washed Khmers systems that results Millions lives of Mass Genocides of all the modern histories occur between (1975-1979).

Glad I’m not the only one who think that. I believe those neighboring countries are jealous of our rich culture and try to find a way to destroy our beautiful country. Khmer government are selfish, money hungry.

Oh how different Cambodia could have been by now, if only the Khmer Rouge never get into power. That really held them back, life looked just fine before the coup

It was US carpet bombing that brought Khmer Rouge to power in 1975.
And Khmer Rouge not held a coup, but Lol Nol, a US puppet that had coup and topple King Sihanouk at first place.

I don’t care that Khmer Rouge destroyed our infrastructure but I cared deeply that Khmer Rouge destroyed Khmer’s values, morality, kindness and dignity.

Don't let that piece of history continue to drag us down. We can over come by standing up and rise to what is Khmer Values, morality and integrity. Our identity as Khmer will never bleed if we all stand as One. Peace and love to you all.
