Close to accurate true stories are told in documentaries, movies have to offer some kind of drama in order to keep audience attention. If you don't know this by now, just don't watch movies.
I think everyone knows that, but it's still fun to learn which parts of the movie are fact and which are fiction. Was it the characters? The timeline? The major plot point at the end? Not all movies change the same things and sometimes the true story is stranger than fiction!
