I really feel like Chris Nolan casting Pattinson in TENET was a little bit of a co-sign that Pattinson is the new Batman. Since Twilight ended, Pattinson has worked his acting ass off with some of the best directors around. He deserves to be able to step out of the “shiny vampire” shadow. I’m excited for this movie!

I didn't even know that was Colin Farrell as The Penguin. I didn't really keep up to date with all the castings knew about Riddler and Catwomen and who they casted but not the Penguin. I instantly recognized him in the trailer. But I couldn't tell at all that it was Colin Farrell wasn't until I looked into who it was playing him that I learned it was Colin. Which has me really excited as I really enjoy him as an actor. And I like that they are going more of the Gotham route for the character which is my favorite live action version. As I was never a big fan of Burton version of Penguin this crazy freak of a human legit raised by Penguins. I was always a fan of him just being a normalish type of man who was a mob boss.

Robert doing a good job of portraying a young Bruce Wayne. Definitely give off the vibe of Jason Todd & Dick Greyson, which make it so relatable that Batman would choose those 2 as robin.

It's almost like they threw the comic books, the Tim Burton movies, the Christopher Nolan movies, the Netflix Daredevil, and the Crow all in one giant blender, and then this unique masterpiece came to being. This may sound crazy, but I think Robert Pattinson's Batman will possibly be the best representation of this classic character ever portrayed on film by far. If anything, I like that even more because I can draw that comparison, so you can really drive the point home that Jason as Red Hood really is a Batman 2.0 that kills. Like the father went through the same shit the sons later did, having a damaged phase where they almost seem like they can't handle everything that goes on around Gotham, but they gotta keep it together and push through. This is the batman I've wanted in live action I love a detective, early non perfect batman that can kick ass but still has to work on himself as he continues.
this is year two/three batman. he's somewhat surpassed the newbie stage but he hasn't completely mastered being batman yet. he's also still in his rage/grieving faze, so he's more prone to being excessively violent because of that rage and brokenness. plus, he's still in the process making a name for himself, a name that criminals will fear. also, the make-up around his eyes is what makes his eyes look dark in the batman cowl. most movies and cartoons don't show this aspect of his custume because they don't think the audience is intelligent enough to understand why.
Alfred is Andy Serkis.. they are 25% into filming. they got a LOT More to do.. And this is supposed to be Batman in Year 2 of being Batman, and hes having trouble fighting crime and butting up against the corruption of Gotham. And I think his parents were involved somehow, that's why that voice says "you're part of this"
The Joker is usually looked at as Batman's arch-nemesis because of their dichotomy, but The Riddler is a more terrifying villain because he isn't trying to create a play, having society be his actors, just so he can prove a point like the Joker. The Riddler, however, specifically targets Batman, alone.

@Married2theReal I thought the exact same thing. At the end of the trailer he looks like Jason just got back to his own cave after a tough night patrolling. If anything, I like that even more because I can draw that comparison, so you can really drive the point home that Jason as Red Hood really is a Batman 2.0 that kills.

this is year two/three batman. he's somewhat surpassed the newbie stage but he hasn't completely mastered being batman yet. he's also still in his rage/grieving faze, so he's more prone to being excessively violent because of that rage and brokenness. plus, he's still in the process making a name for himself, a name that criminals will fear.
also, the make-up around his eyes is what makes his eyes look dark in the batman cowl. most movies and cartoons don't show this aspect of his custume because they don't think the audience is intelligent enough to understand why.

And I think his parents were involved somehow, that's why that voice says "you're part of this"

The Joker is usually looked at as Batman's arch-nemesis because of their dichotomy, but The Riddler is a more terrifying villain because he isn't trying to create a play, having society be his actors, just so he can prove a point like the Joker. The Riddler, however, specifically targets Batman, alone.
