Love this trailer. Been meaning to check out his new stuff like Good Time and Lighthouse but I did get a chance to check him out in Tenet yesterday. By no means was he the main star but he did so good with the screen time he was given
He also wanted to play Edward Cullen more brooding and dark as according to the books but the studios didn't let him. I guess that's one of the reasons why he hated Twilight for a long time (besides all the crazy stardom shit he's suffered through for years).
The guy in the trailer standing in what looks like rain looking at the camera is the penguin Colin Farrell put on extensive make up and prosthetics. Great video guys.
I was initially skeptical about Robert Pattinson's casting choice but this trailer proved me wrong. If the movie is as good as this trailer then we'll get a proper Batman film after 'The Dark Knight'. Rises and Snyder films lacked something but they had good set pieces. Hopefully 2021 brings us this year one Batman.
If your not familiar with Paul Dano go watch There will be Blood... he was great in that. Played two characters (twins) but was only hired for one. Someone got canned two weeks into shooting that was suppose to play the brother and Paul was offered the second roll with only 4 days to prepare. Really kept up with Daniel Day Lewis.
You really should check out Gotham's (TV series) version of Edward Nygma. Their vision on the development of him becoming Riddler was also very good. Ofc with season 1, it's quite on the nose as it didn't find its footing yet with what they want to do with the show. But as the show goes on.. Edward and especially Oswald's development as characters with them growing into who they eventually become as the Riddler and Penguin was actually done so well. You can tell all the work was put into their characters. Should check it out 💯
I didn’t realize That the penguin was in the trailer and that Collin Farrel was the penguin. I knew he was going to play him but didn’t realize that was him until someone pointed it out on TH-cam !
@@ralfdwerlkotte5619 i'm saying he is one of the villains, but he still isn't main villain, because the murder mystery. They only filmed few Penguin scenes and more of the Riddler scenes and there are more villains in the movie. Maybe learn to read between the lines or the acual lines
No way would Warner Bros *allowed* a Batman movie to be rated R. They are not going to turn away a pot of money from their TOP selling superhero. Superman is more famous but Batman sells more. He's been in like 8 movies since 1966, at least as many tv shows, live and animated, at least as many video games, and at least twice as many animated movies. Nope. WB wants ALL THE MONIES! Batman at the movie will be forever PG13.

And even then it means possibly foregoing merchandising deals. That's even more revenue they risk losing for the "artistic integrity" of having an R-rated film for say a DARK KNIGHT RETURNS live-action adaptation. Wait, I stand corrected. They did have an R-rated *animated* Batman movie, THE KILLING JOKE. So, I was wrong. You were right. 👍
SANDEEP KUMAR yeah you never see the eye makeup with the mask off in the films but if you look closely around Batman’s eyes you can see it when he wears the mask

Twilight was 12 years ago. Pattinson has moved on from that, I wish everyone else would. His acting has improved 100% since then.

they’ve never actually shown him with the eye makeup on in any adaptions so people are just happy to see them finally show it
