Thanks for this video - you have a terrific instructional tone and rhythm. I feel (slightly) more at ease now looking at my new serger.

I’ve seen these advertised. 😂😂After watching, I think I’ll s Stick to my Babylock serger! And my Bernina. I don’t need the speed or production capabilities.
    Thankyou for your informative video.

Great video! Do you have any recommendations for a home serger?

Babylock do great home sergers and the air threading is fantastic.

Why does the thread undo, Is it because they didn't backup and lock stitch at the start and finish or is it because how you cut through the opposing chain at a corner to enable the chain that got cut to unwind causing a flaw or fault.
How are you meant to stop this from happening when forming a corner or intersection ? Love the video mind you, I'm curious because so many things ive brought have fallen apart, like shorts around the waste bands mainly ?

I got this serger from my mom. I don't have a manual. How do I turn the machine on? I am feeling for an on/ off switch but can't find it.

Does anyone know why my thread keeps breaking? It's the top straight stitch on the the safety stitch. I've rethreaded it and it's still breaking. It's the last one that I thread. Could it be the order that it's threaded?

Sometimes it’s the spool it gets caught on, I don’t think the order matters make sure it didn’t get twisted around the needle itself,
If it’s happening right away, you could try, turning the hand wheel and watching things
