      No. It was always hard for me to understand how easy balanced eating was until I found Liezl's channel. Her videos helped me to be motivated, and apply simple methods to clean up what was already in my diet. I eat everything aside from seafood😊

      Rachel Tan Qian Hui I followed her videos and blog. I notice my results are best when I drink a ton of water which she and so many others always recommended, but that is so hard everyday.

    Oh my gosh I had no idea you had a meal plan book! I’m sooo excited to check that out. And a really good price too. You’ve truly inspired me to start to cook my own food and remind myself that eating healthy doesn’t have to leave you hungry or bored. Thank you ❤️ I’ve lost 25 lbs so far using all of your what I eat in a day and recipe videos as inspiration. That and working out for 45 minutes twice a week.

    Thank you for this! I watched your point system video about three weeks ago and then immediately purchased your book! I’ve been following the point system with ease since you’ve made it so simple. I’m not trying to lose more than 10 pounds and trying to maintain my weight and I’ve already lost 6 pounds. But in general I just feel like I understand portion sizes and food calories in such a better and healthier way now. I’m truly thankful for your content.

    I am a girl from China. Last month,I did a listening exam. However!When I watch your video after exam as before, suprisingly, your name is the first answer! ( T T )I wrote wrong because I did not pay more attention to the spelling. I was very sad because I watch your videos many times a day!     Liezl, I love your videos. I have actually watched every single one since I found you on TH-cam. Even though I’m vegan, I have made so many of your meals - obviously just replacing the animal based foods with plant sources. There are so many youtubers especially in the vegan community which have made calorie counting seem like the worst thing you can do but honestly at the end of the day, I do believe it’s the only way to lose weight.     honestly the best weight loss tip is just prepare all your meals yourself. eating processed foods is usually high cal and empty cal too.
    I couldn't believe how few calories i ate and felt full all the time and never felt like i was starving myself when i started counting them.
    i felt full on around 900-1100 calories a day (i know everyone is different)
    and i wasn't eating bowls of plain spinach either (i love incorporating spinach into my meals tho)
    there are so many healthy and low cal recipes to eat for "diets" and you wont even feel like your dieting, and alot of variety too. so many of my meals felt like such treats even though they were like really healthy and like under 400 cal.

    I've been using this point system in maintenance, I developed kind of an obsession/ eating disorder but I'm trying to recover on my own and by thinking of food as points it takes the stress off of it. It's not ideal, I'd love to be able to eat without thinking of numbers at all, but it's a nice stepping-stone :)

    I had the chick pea sandwich it was very nice and filling. I didnt have tomato so I used salsa which gave me and idea for a black bean avacado sandwich taco seasoning. Tfs
    Banana and nuts almost like banana nut bread. You really helped me💜
    It's weird you can eat a lot of good food and be well or not eat hardly anything but the wrong food sugary processed and be overweight and sick ... soo crazy.
    I like a PC of toast with light spread real butter with 1/2 a banana. I wonder how many calories ... gotta look it up.

    Thank you for the great meal ideas and recipes, but honestly I don't get the point system? Like the point of it is not obsessing over calories, but I could easly see myself obsessing over points and counting them. No shade, just my opinion

      Not as much ( in my opinion) as other systems. I only think about calories for like 30 seconds when assembling my meals and then i dont think about it. If youre already obsessive of course its not going to help.

    I like the concept of your system, but calories is not the only thing I count... I try to be between a certain # of calories daily (depends on my activity level of the day), but also want to make sure I get a certain amount of protein (I noticed I used to not eat enough protein before once I started tracking my foods) and keep carbs to a certain amount as well (too many carbs does not work for me and is so easy to go overboard...). So this system is only good for calories/protions, but not for more macros. Its important that when counting calories to make sure you give your body the nutrition it needs, not just limit calories. But nice concept for those who only care about calories tracking. Makes sense. Thanks for your nice videos. Truly appreciate :)

      In her old video on this topic (link in the description box), towards the end, she talks of a way of using points per macro. Like with the calories, it's an estimate, but it will give you an idea of the ratio you are eating between macros. Obviously if you need to know protein down to the gram this won't work. She highly emphasizes nutrition per meal. Haven't watched this whole video yet but came from the last one where this is addressed.

    Also about the toast and eggs to make it Lower calories you can get the whole wheat bread that is 45 calories for I think 1-2 pieces and it’s pretty good 😊👍

    What do you recommend for meals for people with a busy job? I’m an IT tech for a school system, so I go from school to school. I never know where I’ll be for lunch, so I have the hardest time with taking a lunch to work because I can’t it heat up or I’m afraid it’ll spoil. My insulated lunch bag isn’t as insulated as one should be.. Help! 😭

    Could you maybe do a video on easy and quick meals for teen who do t have a lot of time? I am trying to lose 25 to 30 lbs then I would be at 165 or 160. l am a very tall person and I carry it very well but I am happiest at that weight. I was 175 since last Christmas then my family went to Disney Land and I just kept putting on weight untill I was 185. I am almost 15 and I find it a little challenging or ummmm.... Inconvenient? For me and my family of 9. If you have any tips or tricks for teenage girls it would really help.

    Hey guys!!
    I'd like to start a group chat full of people who want to lose, gain weight or want to do sports more often. I'd really like to have people in there who support and help each other. I think it would help me very much to keep my goal when I know there are people who stand behind me.
    My family doesn't support my idea of losing weight, because they think I already have a good body and I shouldn't lie to myself. But I feel so unconfident in my body and I know I'm not the only one. People say to me that it should love myself but I can't I just feel uncomfortable.
    I want to change it so bad but I tried many times and failed because I didn't really believed in myself and I had no one to talk to. I don't wanna tell someone my plans because I think it's embarrassing and I know they wouldn't support me, they would try to stop me.
    I'm a student and my mother cooks for me so its hard me to maintain my diet. They always think I want to starve myself when I don't eat as much as I usually do. I don't like doing sports in groups because I had some bad experience as a child. I sometimes workout in my room but I do it as quiet as possible so no one hears me.
    That's why sometimes I stop working for my dream because everything seems to be against me all the time.
    I know some of you struggle with the same problem and that's why I want to create this group chat. It's for motivating us doing sports, giving Tipps for others, sharing new ideas or videos you recently found, quotes that inspired you and want to share, showing results and believe in each other.

    First of all thank you so much for introducing so much health in my life. I've lost around 6 pounds in 2 weeks and now I've reached that stage that my weight wouldn't move at all. Plus my hunger seems to have doubled. What do you think I should do?

    Awesome!! Innovative!! Weight Watchers Got Nothin' On You!! I like this better - empowering the dieter by creating their own point system - food choice and quantity. I will check out your book. Do you have any ideas on exercise - like how to incorporate in a spontaneous and or natural way? Maybe a system that relates activity to food points. The old more out put exercise than input food ? Thanks👏
